I'm confused though since there's two different times on mine.

Goalscoring wise, Ruud's 74 in 60 odd games isn't a bad record

as for signings, i'd say Van Der Vaart since that's my only signing from my first season who has been a regular first choice. Other than him, i'd have to add Alexander Frei in there as well, since Carlos Quieroz advised me not to sign him, but I did and he pretty much won me the champs league on his own in my third season.

i'm finding it pretty easy, although i am still playing my Utd game.

I've played 3 seasons and won the Premiership in each, the champions league twice, the world club cup, super cup (x2) and the charity sheield (x2)

I'm also the england manager with a 100% record in 4 games.

I've got a seperate huddersfield game going in which i'm 4th in League One.

But yeh.... the game still rocks, and i think it has got a little harder since the patch.

Although I think Klitschko will win, I think it might be a closer fight than many people think (and also a better one). Neither guy could even think about hanging with guys like Lewis, Tyson, Bruno etc. in their prime. I've seen Williams a few times and he has definately improved since he lost to Sprott. I've never been overly impressed with Klitschko, sure he stayed with Lewis for a while but I still got the feeling Lewis would win.

Still, I'm saying Klitschko in 9 because he is simply the better fighter. Although stranger things have happened than Williams winning.

Having said that, I'm looking forward more to Hatton/Olivera anyway.

My two favourites are the ones I own, Silent Hill 2 and Final Fantasy 8. SH2's has 5 or 6 really good songs whereas FF8 is just awesomeness throughout.

FF7 rates highly as well.

This game just gets more awesome by the day. Well into my third season with United (Dec 2006 right now) and i've jut won the World Club Championship, won every first round CL game and am second in the league. (10 behind arsenal with 3 games in hand). The World Club Championship was real easy mind, since I only had to play 2 matches

Anyone else notice that the game gets better the further you get? The premiership in mine is getting harder thanks to all the quality players being signed by the smaller clubs. Players like Baros are playing for teams like West Ham and Norwich.

Anyone know what co-owning a player means?

I was just trying to sign De Rossi from Roma and Juventus offered them 7.5m to "co-own" him. Needless to say I haven't got the first clue what this means.

Woooooo! Milan 0 - 3 Man Utd! Champions League Final!

Yup, my team just slaughtered the holders and clinched the double of Premiership and Champs League. It should've been treble but we I lost on penalties to Chelsea in the FA Cup final.

Speaking of transfer woes though, having won the Premiership twice and the CL once in my two seasons I am DEMANDING that the board give me the money to buy D'Alessandro and Niko Kranjcar, they've both been unhappy for like, ever, yet all my bids are rejected... i think they're gonna set me back around 12-15m each, yet my board will only allow me 10 million because of the high wage budget... it's hardly my fault no one will bid for Miller, Kleberson, Keane or Giggs. While they're at it they can get that budget changed 'n all.

I'm just a little annoyed that Rooney got all the credit the next day. Sure he scored two goals, both well taken, but he didn't do much else in the game. Plus Alan Smith got absolutely no credit for his header that led to Rooney's second. Roles reversed, I doubt Rooney would've been brave enough to stick his head in there. But it's been the same all season, players like Smith and Heinze have hardly been praised since it's all gone (Not all undersevingly) to Rio and Rooney.

In February in my second season, top of the league by 6 points having just been on a 22 game unbeaten league match streak. Bloody southampton ended it when I (somewhat foolioshly) decided to rest Ruud and Ronaldo. Also Alan Smith, having his best season ever, has broken his leg and will miss five months.

Anyway I should win the league comfortably, i've already played Chelsea twice, Arsenal twice and Villa twice (Don't laugh, they're a force on my game). My only real difficult games left are Liverpool and Newcastle (currently second) both at home.

Anyone else find that their assistants talk crap half the time? Quieroz so far has told me not to buy Fabrice Fernandes or Aleksander Frei. Both of whom have done well since I got them. And he continually tells me that Anthony Vanden Borre (Some young kid I signed from Anderlecht at the start) who has improved loads since I signed him, will never improve above his current level and that I should sell him. Yet his stats are better than Phil Neville's and only slighty worse than Keane's. Both of whom are "deserving of first team places" according to Quieroz.

Try thedugout.tv forums for some training schedules. I got one off there and it seems to be working well so far.

Diego, whenever I play away from home I tend to make sure my mentality is set to normal (or defensive if i'm really gonna be up against it) and I put the team on tight marking, pressing pretty high up the pitch and playing with a quick tempo.

Also, if you're gonna play defensively you might wanna try counter attack combined with a fast tempo and also give a couple of 'flair' players (i.e. Pires, Ronaldo etc.) alot of Creative Freedom. That way they end up making chances on their own.

I rarely lose away anymore, although I am Man Utd but still, I beat the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea and Newcastle away.

Just signed him after he won World Footballer of the year award and announced he would leave Arsenal on a bosman in 2006. So I snapped him up for 8 Mill and he scores on his debut in the league against Everton in a resounding 3-1 win.

But my point is, Giggs who played there all of last season barely scored and had a shite average rating. Yet Pires walks in and bags a 10 and an 8 staright away. Awesome.

I also signed Gareth Barry for 11 million from Villa.

Premiership champs! I won the league on goal difference after Chelsea got a 1-1 draw at Highbury. Otherwise i'd have had to beat Newcastle away on the last day... and I didn't but meh. Arsenal won nothing either, they lost in the FA Cup final to Newcastle.

So yeah, it was actually pretty difficult with Man Utd. Struggled to score goals for a couple of months and especially when Ruud was out. We went on an awful run and at one point Villa were top with 4 games left! They finished third in the end.

Well I guess the best bet would be foir everyone to get on MSN or something sometime. Then basically start up the game and each time we play it, decide when we are all next available. Something like that... That way if someone doesn't get online to play when is agreed we can just play with them 'on holiday'.

Unless one of you guys has a better idea that is.

Hell... I hammered Fulham 7-1 at home (7 diff. scorers) And then I go lose away at Stoke in the FA Cup. To be fair though I did play alot of fringe players who aren't fit. But damnit... Stoke!

Ah well, i'm still 7 points clear at the top of the Prem, and I drew with Levrkusen 1-1 at home in the CL 2nd round 1st leg.

meh, i'm Man Utd till I get used to the game. Top of the league after 16 games, through to CL knockout stages. Training sucks as well, I took one look at it and decided to let my assistant handle it. THat is until I realised my youngsters were getting worse, so now i've taken control myself. Double-hard training for everyone!

Anyways, would anyone be up for a mass EWB network game sometime? (Kou included more than most because he has Optimus Prime in his sig, and as everyone knows Prime > *)

PS - Surely if the Badgers are in the game, you van just use the editor to put them in the conference north/south and then be them?

I have the game without this download, and I haven't noticed that the dutch pick their wrong squads. For example Van Nistelrooy always gets picked in my game.

lazy_arse, he's probably too young to play premiership football. Don't you have to be 16? Also I think if you hold the mouse over the "ine" tab it tells you why.

Cos I was wonderin why all my reserves were ineligible for the league cup, but I found out they'd already played that day.

Couple of questions/problems I was hoping you guys may be able to help with.

1) Rio Ferdinand's fitness rating seems to have vanished.

2) I never got a Goal Of The Month award for September, yet October's award had a goal from the 25th September.

3) In the first two months I was never told about senior international call-ups. I have just been informed but this is for friendly matches. So my thought is that you don't get told for competitive matches because you don't have a choice how long they play or whatever, but you do with friendlies.

4) I managed to play Guiseppe Rossi in the Champions League when he wasn't registered.

5) The initial loading screen (straight after you click the icon to start the game) takes a long time (2 mins approx.) to disappear and for the game to actually load. Once it's loaded I have no problems with speed though.

Yeah, so not huge problems but help would be appreciated all the same.
