  1. Songs that Changed My Life

    1. Sargent Pepper's Lonely Heart Club Band - The Beatles

Come on, everyone has to have a Beatles song that impacted your life somehow? I remember when I was young, and listening to Paul McCartney start off by saying "Well, it was twenty years ago today//Sargent Pepper taught a band to play." Ah, the life, such a good song by one of the if not THE greatest bands of all time.

    2. Brain Stew - Green Day

One of the easiest songs to teach yourself how to play the guitar and or the bass. I taught myself this song, and every time I put in Insomniac, which was Green Days finest album in my own personal mind from start to finish, I always mark out to this song.

    3. No Control - Bad Religion

Silly enough, the title track of the record entitled No Control, wasn't my first choice as a Bad Religion song I liked off that album, "Sometimes I Feel Like" would have gotten the nod, but after awhile this song has grown to me. And is till by far Bad Religions best punk record from their first shot at Epitaph. I do love Suffer though.

    4. Dammit - Blink 182

Such a good song to just rock out too.

    5. Smooth - Santana (w. Rob Thomas)

This song is the reason I was like to my parents one day "I want a guitar." This was also the reason I got NHL 2000, for Playstation after betting my father that, Rob Thomas from Matchbox Twenty sang this song with Santana. Such a win win for me.

    6. No More Lonely Nights - Paul McCartney

I like Paul McCartney since his days with the Beatles, I love his style his demeanor (minus him getting busted in Japan for weed in '80), and just because he sang with Michael Jackson. But this song, for some reason I cannot get out of my head from time to time, and that's a good thing. And if I really wanted to make a stir, I could have put "Say Say Say" his duet with Michael Jackson.

    7. Everlong - Foo Fighters

Grew over me after time. I just find this song very well written, and very impactful.

    8. Everything's Too Cold... But You're So Hot - The Early November

Made me love this band, and Ace Enders.

    Guilty Pleasure

    Sexy Back - Justin Timberlake

Yes. I'm the one bringing sexy back too.

    Current Favorites

    1. No It Isn't - (+44)

    2. Kingdom Come - Jay-Z

    3. Greg's Estate - Bad Astronaut

    4. Spider Song - Say Anything

    5. 1,000 Times A Day - The Early November

    6. Hangman - Motion City Soundtrack

    7. Man Overboard - Blink 182

    8. The Longest Line - NOFX

  2. Angels and Airwaves - After Tom's ego driven madness to him believe the fact that it would blow the minds of people, and change the world? What world did it end up changing? And did the movie that they were going to release come along with the CD release? No, all a pack of lies from Tom DeLonge.

Also, Sam's Town was an alright album. Was it as good as Hot Fuss? Nah, of course not because it didn't have Mr. Brightside, but overall it was a decent album, just not as musically strong as Hot Fuss.

    Where is DETOX?!

Oh, and I wasn't too impressed by Kingdom Come either, the title track and any of Dre's productions on the entire album made it worth the buy, anything after that it was eh.

And if I hear Fergilicious one more time.. I'm going to freak out.

  3. So, my dad decided to encrypt our Linksys router so no one else could share our connection for security reasons. So ever since my dad encrypted the router, the USB wireless adapter has decided not to work for me.

My question is, how do I make this work again so I can play some games online, because I've been really not wanting to buy games due to the fact that my Live isn't working (sounds retarded I know), but any ideas?

    Thanks.

  4. Yeah unless it was this entirely rich guy who bought it off from him, because any normal American does not have ten grand just sitting there next to him to blow off on the Playstation 3. Or am I just living on the wrong side of America?

Oh and I just love the person who won the item on E-Bay's username: ihategreedypeople3.

The user is such a liar.

So.. my question is, besdies this guy who spends that amount of money for a gaming console, who would spend that amount of money for the system?

600 by far is quite retarded for a system that plays the Blu Ray discs, has a 60GB harddrive, all this fun stuff, but in the end overheats, and fries out on you. When my local Best Buy put up its display this Sunday to showcase the system, within the first two hours of it being on the system overheated and turned off.

    Got to love Sony.

(+44) When Your Heart Stops Beating

This as we all know is Mark Hoppus attempt to get away from his Blink 182 days. While it has the more poppy sound like we all know Blink 182 did in fact have, the album in itself is a great listen. Mark does a great job with the vocals, as I always considered him the better of the two anyway (Tom just sounds like a girl whining). Other than that the selection of tracks was done masterfully, and I cannot wait and see if there is in fact another (+44) album to come out because if its anything like this one, I am sure to buy it. Its hard to compare Angels and Airwaves to (+44) because there sounds are two totally different things. But I do like the sound that Mark and Travis made out of this record more so than I do Tom's efforts.

Best Tracks: Chapter XIII, No It Isn't, Lycanthrope.

    Rating: 8.3/10

The Early Novemeber The Mother, The Mechanic, The Path

This is by far one of Ace Ender's best bunch of songs written by him. The flow of music each CD of the three give out makes it probably one of the best releases of the year. They worked there asses off on this album and it has shown, Jeff finally showing that he can play a mean set of drums, Ace finally showing off his voice, and what not this album is probably their best effort to date. It was a long process the three disc masterpiece but in the end it was really worth it. My favorite disc is the Rock disc, because that is what I am use to of them. The third disc, the Path is the accumliation of the first two discs, with the whole story coming into play. While this disc should be a great movie, I didn't really care for it. The songs on there were alright, some seemed just thrown on there cause they wouldn't fit the other two discs, but other than that its a solid effort from the boys of Hammonton, New Jersey.

Best Tracks: 1,000 Times A Day, Decoration, Outside, Figure It Out, Money In His Hand

    Rating: 8.7/10

  7. Yeah, well its going to be tough, we should easily take Gretzky land, and LA but I am worried about the Ducks Sharks. Then we are back home with the now 10-0 Buffalo Sabres.

Sharks I think if we can contain there speed we can beat them easily.. Ducks you just got to pound the puck on goal. I just hope Jagr gets his scoring touch, and now.

  8. I must say I'm a mix of surprised and not so much surprised of the play of Pittsburgh. Going into the season, not having ever seen Malkin acctually play, I had questioned not whether he would play well, rather if he would click with Sid. I think the answer there is uhhhh....yut. I mean it seems every night I see the Pen's highlight Cros is at least putting up 2-3 points. Also every Pens game I've actually watched a decent amount of this year, Jordan Staal has played real well. I'm just thinking, 'what if he was playing with Eric?' DIRTY.

Anywho onto my Rangers, who had a brutal loss last night. Or so at least Michaletti and Rosen said, I only caught the last 6 minutes. They keep making plays that keep costing them goals and in the longrun games. Hank is letting in over 3 and a half a game, definetly not good. They should definetly be better then 4-5. I think they really gotta get it turned around because if they go too much longer losing it could cost them down the road.

  9. Congrats to Brendan Shanahan for notching goals number 599 and 600 tonight in an impressive 5-2 win by the New York Rangers.

God, it is just very weird to see Jagr with the C on his jersey, but he will lead this team, I can feel something positive out of him being captain for the Rangers.

He had a goal when the Captials pulled Ollie the Goalie, but instead he passed it over to Straka to give him the empty netter. And at the end of the game hugging Shanahan for his accomplishment.

    Thank you captain Jagr.

  10. I'm tired of repeating myself already. This is going to be a long season.

In other news, Party on Wang, Party on Garth.

Alexander Ovechkin said that responsibilities as an NHL captain include taking his team out, do lots of shots of vodka, on off days, call up the playboy mansion and have a big party, because players need to relax.

Thus, I propose we all try out for the Washington Capitals.

And, watching the Top Ten Moments on OTR, I am struggling with whether Roenick's "Hero" is better then his "Dancing Queen", because "Dancing Queen" was really, really off the wall.
