The Canucks still have a good defense, with World Championship/Olympic defenders in Mattias Ohlund (SWE), Sami Salo (FIN), and new arrival Lucas Krajicek (CZE). While no one is arguing that the Czech defense is as deep as Team Canada's, or that losing Ed Jovanovski doesn't hurt, Mattias Ohlund is still a stud, and Luc Bourdon was impressive at the Memorial Cup and is ready for the NHL. Even in it's depleted state, the Canucks defense is still better then last years Florida line and the offense is still miles ahead. If the Canucks can find someone who clicks with the Sedins (Matt Cooke maybe) and someone to fill in for Toddbert, the playoffs are a possibility. The effect Luongo will have will be measurable, make no mistake. There is a reason he is Team Canada material. This guy is the real deal.

I've never really gotten the whole online game stuff. See my computer is downstairs and my room (where my 360 would be) is upstairs. I have a phone jack in my room, but I've got high speed internet through Cox. I'm just lost as to where I would hook it to, a phone jack like I've got in my room?

Ethernet cable between the modem (or a switch/router/whatever) into the Xbox 360 ethernet port is how it connects. And needless to say, Xbox Live only works with broadband. I hear the Koreans have regulation 120KBps...now them, I envy.

So, does this mean that if already have a wireless router in my house that supports ethernet it should just work with no problem? Or do I literally need an actual cable that plugs into the XBox 360. We have three computers here (two laptops, and a desktop) that all automatically run from the wireless router we have, and other than the desktop, the two laptops just needed to be turned on and they were ready to go.

As a Rangers fan, if this is indeed true then I am happy about this. This is the help Jagr needs for the scoring department. We needed another true quailty scorer to help Jagr, and now we have one. I hope.. The only thing that is making me thing he could slow down at all, is his age.

At age 37, many people aren't good for the 40 goal seasons, but I do think Shanahan is the exception. This means that we won't need either Ruchinsky or Sykora. Personally, I rather have Sykora, so thanks for your help Ruchinsky (Y).

Maximum Carnage, would be an amazing story to do with the fourth, but that would possibly be too impossible.

Why? Honestly, I don't think there will be enough time in this movie for Venom to play out, so they'll likely save that battle for the fourth. In fact, I see a huge cliffhanger to end this one. But Carnage would make an obvious choice for a fifth (and final) film.

I liked Ace's side project, I thought it was totally different from them, I think we can expect Ace to use that sound in one of the disc's in the triple disc set.

Fluxy is an alright song, Never truly gotten into it as the others, but none the less I always listen to it.

Anyone, listen or at least hear of the Early November. A band thats on the label Drive-Thru Records, on July 11 they are release The Mother, The Mechanic, The Path a triple disc Rock Oprea, I guess you would call it that has three different styles of music blended into one to make sure the look at feel of the album sounds totally different.

I seriously cannot wait for this CD to come out, I've had it preordered through West Aspen Merch, since they were holding a promotion for the CD, with the CD, Shirt and poster.

Something with this band that I rarely have with anyothers, is the fact that I can sit and listen to their full lengths without ever skipping a song and what not, which is something that I rarely do with music I listen too.

Pete you forgot to mention Jimmy Eat World's EP as one of the albums to check out.

That EP "Stay on My Side Tonight" was probably the very first EP I actually listened to that made me crave for more. That EP itself showed the maturity of Jimmy Eat World as individuals, and as a group as a whole.

From that EP all the songs Bar the remix of Drugs or Me is excellent.

But on the Flowers deal, as I do like The Killers myself, as I find them a different type of rock band with the glam sounds and what not, he's a idiot. That's all I can say, I even hate Fall Out Boy, but when someone enjoy's your record, don't be a dick about it because they are "Emo".

Ah, I don't know.. Maybe he's has a big head because Hot Fuss was such a great album in the minds of the Academy. Just produce a follow up for Hot Fuss, it's been a long time already.

I Suggest if you do buy that album get the delux edition of the album.. 2 Disc's of Say Anything, and that's not a bad thing at all.

No Substance - Bad Religion

.. That had to be the biggest joke of a Bad Religion album ever, who ever told Greg Graffin to write Raise Your Voice! Should be rightfully shot.

Yeah, Lagwagon are still around. They released an album late last year, the name escapes me, but I'd be able to show you where to find it if you want?

I too personally prefer Sick Of It All to Bad Religion, but the whole California connection, with me feeling they're responsible for not only one of my favourite bands, but a hell of a lot of other bands. But if it were a question of song writing talent then SOIA would win hands down, but the fact that nearly every punk-rock band names BR as an influence is huge thing. And for that, for really 'influencing a whole genre' they deserve to be on the list. Plus there's the fact that they also achieved mainstream success to boot.

Alright, you're probably going to think that I am an ass or something but I do think I should tell you that I do believe that you did not follow Lost Souls advice, it still is choppy, you really did not explain why Jericho and Storm came back to the company, as we do know which is fact that Storm wouldn't want to work a full WWE schedule. So if you could open your backstory up more to explain why this happened, it would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe another thing you can do is add spaces in between match writeups, maybe some bolding and color would help too.. not trying to sound like an ass but if you do these things, it will get a little bit better, with the work on your spelling and grammar, this will be an okay diary.

Personally I would of had Bad Religion, and NOFX to that list since they both were influential to the Punk wave.

Bad Religion I was most upset over though not being on that list, but a band like Blink 182, who I am a fan of was on that list, and I cannot find something influential that they did.

Bad Religion changed the punk scene, by reinventing it, and reintroducing the genre as it was dying out. So-Cal Punk Bands credit Bad Religion as an influence, hell I do think Tom and Mark of Blink list Graffin and the boys as influences for Blink.

Overall pretty good list, but was disappointed without the mentioning of Bad Religion.
