  1. All I know is I get the most perverse, unexplained joy out of watching this show. The one where the guy (Hart) has a Sweet 16 party was the best one by far with highlights including his dad eating an entire jar of caviar on one cracker, Hart getting sick from having a "Red Bull Drinking Contest" and Hart yelling "THIS IS A $400,000 CAR!" out the window on the way to his party. What can I say? Sometimes I just need to turn my mind off and for that Super Sweet 16 is a fucking treat.

  2. It would be an awful move for the Vikings to trade Moss at this point. Without him the offense is flat and the running game can't get going. I'd take Moss over Culpepper if I had to chose. Besides, the Vikings would have been in a much better position defensively if Red McCombs wasn't such a cheap fuck. We have around 30 mil in cap space. Sell the team already!

  3. I looked up author Joseph Campbell for the hell of it and got some pretty amusing results.

  4. Judging from everyone's negative comments (and not just including here) on season 2 I imagine I'd probably eat season 1 up but I'd be far too embarassed to ever get it on DVD.

I don't watch the show, but this is is so fucking sad. Are you that self concious that you can't buy a DVD off someone at the shops you don't even know?

  5. The males aren't any better at this point either, considering the fact that they never show signs of a spine, even surrendering and apologizing when they're in the right. Perhaps the only character with any promise is Zach, who, while not being incredibly complex or intriguing, hasn't been used enough this season to be misused. The only thing that can really save the show from my point of view is the Marissa-Alex thing invoking some courage on the part of Seth and Ryan. Honestly, I thought even last night's dull fest could have been saved had Ryan not stopped halfway through his rant to remember that he's supposed to now be some sort of Orange County pussy-boy. He should have let Alex have it when she tried to interject for Marissa instead of back off. Nothing saves a scene like a bit of brotherly solidarity.  :P

  6. I (unfortunately?) have been watching OC since the start of season 2 and am really enjoying it. Judging from everyone's negative comments (and not just including here) on season 2 I imagine I'd probably eat season 1 up but I'd be far too embarassed to ever get it on DVD.

  7. Saw that Pats win coming from a mile away.

BTW, who else watched the post game show where Boomer Esiason called Manning this generations Dan Marino (since Manning will never win the big one) and then Dan Marino got extremely defensive and had this furious look on his face for the rest of the show. And then Shannon Sharpe started screaming about how the Colts got killed and Sharpe kept yelling over Marino and Marino looked super annoyed/pissed. High comedy.

  8. Yeah, all the pre game shows are horrible in general. I try to avoid them at all costs.

And speaking of ESPN, I'm so glad their Sunday Night crew aren't calling any of the games this weekend. What a bunch of morons.

  9. It's definately worth the rental and it is an absolutley delightful movie if your into Zombie flicks. The part where Shaun wades through that crowd of Zombies without being harmed annoyed me but the 1st half of this is just a blast. The second half is still really good but doesnt match the quality of the first. One of my favorites this year and one of the 1st movies in a while that I went back and watched multiple times afterwards.

    Associated Press

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. -- Fox Sports turned down Minnesota Vikings owner Red McCombs' request to remove play-by-play announcer Joe Buck from Sunday's divisional playoff game at Philadelphia over his sharp criticism of wide receiver Randy Moss.

After Moss caught a touchdown pass in last weekend's win at Green Bay, the wide receiver celebrated in the end zone by pretending to pull down his pants and moon the Packers fans before briefly wiggling his back side against the goalpost. Buck immediately called it a "disgusting act."

McCombs said that statement was out of line. A two-sentence news release issued by the team said McCombs felt Buck's comments "suggested a prejudice that surpassed objective reporting."

Dan Bell, a Fox spokesman, said the network has "no intention whatsoever" of removing Buck.

"We hope Mr. McCombs enjoys Joe's play-by-play call Sunday, because he'll be in the booth," Bell said.

McCombs, whose office is in San Antonio, was not immediately available for further comment.

Buck, during an interview on Sporting News Radio earlier this week, stood by his criticism.

"I have nothing against Randy Moss," Buck said. "I don't even know the guy. I just know that with the history that he's had, and coming off that game at Washington, it was just stunning to see that."

Moss drew plenty of negative scrutiny the week before for walking off the field in frustration while his teammates lined up for an onside kick with 2 seconds left in a 21-18 loss to the Redskins.

    Has McCombs lost his mind?
