On the topic of Independance Day, I don't think it's a good movie but the sheer scale of the alien ships makes it a very interesting watch.

I really despise "grunge" music despite the fact that one of my favorite bands ever (The Melvins) are considered grunge. They just influenced all the other crap.

EDIT: And for the record I'd consider The Melvins more Stoner Metal than Grunge.

I was really kinda rolling my eyes at the concept of Speilberg and Tom Cruise remaking this but the trailer looked great.

Speaking of Black Flag, I met Dez three years ago.

Back on topic, Pete & Pete is really an amazing show. I was blown away by it this summer seeing it for the first time in like 7 years. Oh yeah, and Endless Mike Helstrom is the best Pete bully ever.

This was really upsetting when I heard this, this morning. I was never a Pantera/Damageplan fan (you could say that I hated both) but this just sounded so fucking surreal. Can't believe this happened.

Melvins/Lustmord - Pigs of the Roman Empire

Only thing i still read is Y: The Last Man and I don't even collect that, just get the TPBs. Human Target is really good though, might get some more of that eventually.

I'm fucking salivating over this movie. Whenever I'm asked what movies I'm looking forward to I just think of Batman Begins.

I dunno but Special K's theme song cracks me up.

Josh Homme is my favorite. Wrote alot of great Kyuss and Desert Session songs plus the first QOTSA was done totally by him and is a great album.

Now I wanna see Bonds and his enlarged head go down in flames.

Lots of good games on yesterday, good day of football.

As a Vikings fan though I was terrified that the Jags were gonna win it in the last minute but Kenichi Udeze, Antione Winfield and Kevin Williams decided to make me feel better.

Oh and I'm pretty sure I've heard other people had this happen to them but I saw a truck go flying straight up into the air and dissapear. It was going around the corner and it looked like it hit something and was about to tip over until i realized that it was flying into the air at a very fast speed. By the time I got out of the car to take a look it was long gone. Wierd :blink:

Bah I barely looked at the title so I thought you were making a reference to Jack Black and Channel101.com.

On the subject of 24 I gave up about 5 episodes into season 3 after watching all Season 1 and 2. Am I gonna have a hard time catching up with season 4?

Now for the bad:

-Cancelling Tough Crowd... what the fuck were they thinking there?  You cancel Tough Crowd but you keep Crossballs?!  Tough Crowd was the perfect show to counterbalance the left-leaning Daily Show.  And it was the first time Colin Quinn has been funny in years!

I had the same run in with that kind of object during the Verticle Bird mission. It was on my right side and as I changed the camera view to get a better look at it, it just kinda dissapeared.

Same here, I never met the one at the Driving School.

What was Perfect Hair Forever like? I was actually really interested in seeing it.

EDIT: Oh an Comedy Central really sucks lately in IMO. Blue Collar Comedy Tour/TV, Wanda Does It, Drawn Together and MADtv all suck ass. Plus I feel the new South Park episodes are pretty crap and Chappelle's show is beyond stale. I don't think I'll be able to watch the new season.

I've seen it but I'm probably the wrong person to ask because me and a friend just MST3K'ed it since we hate Cradle of Filth.

I thought someone was joking when they told me Rollins was in the game (cause he's a media whore) but I guess it's true. I dunno about getting this though as the last Def Jam game got to be like back and fourth reversals, just really boring after a while.
