I thought this was a very solid show from top to bottom. the only problem I had with it, is that I thought that Samoa Joe had come out a little weaker then I would have liked to have seen. I understand that you want to build Aries up as a credible champion, as well as him learning from his past mistakes. Keep up the good work Gabe, I'll continue to read.

I thought I heard somewhere that Cyclope won't be in X-Men 3, because he got a part in Superman Returns. I also thought I heard that there was a good chance that the Pheonix wouldn't return, because the actress that plays the part wanted to get a part in Superman as well. Then there is that little fact that Halle Barrey won't be playing Storm, and I think the actor that plays Iceman also got a part in Superman...

I think that Ron White is my favorite out of all of them....in the BCCT, I like Bill, he's also good...I enjoy his "here's your sign" jokes way better then you might be a redneck.

Saw
in Movies & TV
I'm sure that if you trained yourself for a long enough time to stay that still for long periods of time...I mean, there are people who can slow down their breathing, etc...I'm sure that's something that he did.
this film has this feeling it gives me when I watch it, it just makes me feel fuzzy, (not in a sexual way ) when I come to the end, and you finally find out who the killer is...I've never had that feeling before watching a movie, but you just don't expect it, it's just awesome, and I don't know really how they'd be able to come up with same feeling with Saw 2, when you already know who the killer is...but I hope that the director can pull it off
also, did anyone buy the movie at best buy, and get the bonus dvd with video clips from "High Tension" & "The Devil's Rejects"? could someone tell me if these are movies coming out, or already out, or what? I haven't been able to figure it out.

Saw
in Movies & TV
I liked it, i don't know what everyone's problem with the acting was, I thought the two guys did a very solid job. However Danny Glover did over-act and that was kind of distracting but he wasn't a huge part until the end so it didn't hurt. -
Saw
in Movies & TV
I think Saw is one of the best low budget movies...right next to Napoleon Dynamite...I saw that they made this movie in 18 days, that's incredible. I was so shocked at the end of the movie. I can't wait for Saw 2. It'd be great to see it do just as good as the first, but with just about all sequals, you get crap. I also thought that the acting in this film was good...and people who say it's like Seven should be shot, in no way does this film even come close to being a rip-off of that film. And like The Grudge (which I thought turned out to be a pretty good movie), I'm loving these horror-type films that kinda rewind through shows, instead of going front to back...so you kinda have to sit through the movie, but everything isn't expected...I'm not really sure how to explain, but people who've seen The Grudge know what I'm talking about.
I also think that the director did a freakin' awesome job for this being his first film ever made.

20th Century Fox is strongly considering making another Predator movie to add to the franchise. The studio is considering casting John Cena in the film, more than likely for the lead role. He would most likely play the son of Dutch (Arnold Schwartzenegger) from the first Predator movie. They will probably wait to see how his first movie, "The Marine", with WWE Films turns out based on his actig ability and fan reaction.
To make this bit of news confusing, a Century Fox employee stated that the movie would not be a remake, nor a prequel, but a restart. So basically, it just takes off from the first Predator movie but before the second Predator movie (maybe). The movie could take place in current times if Dutch's son was supposed to be born after the movie took place, or it could take place sometime in the 90's if John Cena's character was already growing up during that time. More news is likely to come in after "The Marine" is released in theaters.
In related news, "Be Cool" starring The Rock is coming out soon. Triple H is lined up to play the lead role in the new Conan movie, ironicly playing Schwarzenegger's son as well. Triple H and The Rock are currently both up for the lead role in "Masters of the Universe". The Rock also has the film version of Spy Hunter coming up soon as well as many other projects.

Saw
in Movies & TV
Did anyone happen to see this movie when it was out on the big screen? I remember when it came out, I thought it was just some strange ass show that I'd probably never see...but now that it's coming out on DVD, and seeing the previews it looks kinda good. To me, it seems like it's kinda like manhunt, where a killer puts several people in situations where they have to kill one another, or something of that nature...which I feel would be a pretty cool movie. Em I right by thinking this, or em I totally off by what the plot is?

I also forgot about Touching Evil which was on the USA Network...I thought that show was really good, and also was getting good ratings too...but for some strange reason, they decided to cancell it.
-
My top show that I've gotta name has to be Playmakers...there wasn't a bad show of that whole first season. ESPN had a great thing on their hands...but because the NFL didn't want all that true stuff they did on that show out...they gave it the axe...I really wish that ESPN would have gave it off to another network...or somethin'...
I've also got a huge list of shows that I wish weren't cancelled, Titus on FOX and Hidden Hills on NBC I thought were pretty great.

Hollywood comedian/actor Pauly Shore loses everything: his house, nobody in Hollywood wants to represent him, he moves back home with his mom and is now parking cars at the Comedy Store. Then one night when he's up in his mom's loft, a dead famous comedian appears who tells Pauly to kill himself cause he'll go down as a comedic genius who died before his time. Pauly then fakes his own death, and the media goes crazy. Celebrities are talking about him on MTV and girls are fighting over him on Jerry Springer. It's everything that he wanted...his plan worked. A week or so later the LAPD is tipped off about his whereabouts and they break down the door of the seedy motel room that he's hiding out in and throw him in LA County's celebrity wing.

no...not really, I'm talkin' about the movie. I saw a preview of this movie at the beginning of Dodgeball and I wasn't really sure what to expect. So what did I do, I picked this movie up real cheap, and it's a pretty decent film. I'm sure it could have been worse, and that it isn't the best. There are a lot of names in this movie. So, anyway...yeah, em I the only one who's seen it...I'm pretty sure I'm the only one who enjoyed it somewhat.

Now if they have been on the air for a couple of seasons it probably wouldn't surprise...it's fun to see celebraties fight for more money...when all of us norman people don't make half of what they do in a year. I've never watched this show, personally I think it sucks. I realy hope that they are only the flavor of the month.

Voyager was my personal favorite, though I did enjoy Next Generation...I doubt that they'll go back to that. I think it is to early for Enterprise to have their own movie...we've already had cross-overs too, which Next Generation and the original series.

I saw this last night...and I thought it looks great. I knew that this movie would be good...anything with Julian McMahon in it is good. I can't wait for this movie to come out!

I would be so freakin' pissed if they didn't decide to pick Nip/Tuck up for a third season...it'd be the dumbest thing they could ever do, with all the hype it was given...and it was pulling in what I believe is the best ratings that FX has ever gotten. The Shield I don't really care for, however I like the main character. Rescue Me I hope also returns, which was getting over in the ratings, not as well as Nip/Tuck, but still really good. I can't wait for this summer/fall for their returns.

"what kind of gun did you use?" "a freakin' 12 gage, GOSH!"

I thought the best line was "Napoleon, you know I'm training to become a cage fighter"...and I love Rex Kwon Do, I'd so pay $300 for that class. Also, I wish I had some sweet hook-ups like Pedro's cousins.
World Championship Wrestling '00
in The Dome Retro Room

- Halfway through 2000, World Championship Wrestling had looked to be drawing it’s final breaths as a company, and the almighty alternative to Vince McMahon’s World Wrestling Federation. Not sense the mid-90’s had WCW shown much profit, or would be able to draw higher numbers in their ratings war against WWF. It was the Attitude era, with names such as Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, The Undertaker, Triple H, to name a few, that would help keep WWF on top, and WCW as nothing more then 2nd best for years to come. In an attempt to capture part of this sports entertainment craze that so many people had grown to love, many head-WWF creative writers had jumped ship to WCW. One of those names was Vince Russo, who wouldn’t help improve the WCW product, but help further deteriorate it.
As we saw the transition from 1999 to the new millennium, Eric Bischoff would be cast aside by Time Warner executives, while Vince Russo and his creative team would run rampant on World Championship Wrestling. With no one in charge to tell Russo what to do, bad creative choices were being made left and right. Soon American Online would merge with Time Warner, and major changes that would effect the very future of the company would be made…
Fast forward to WCW Bash At The Beach on Sunday, July 9th, 2000
