I've only just seen this list. Mostly enjoyed it for the nostalgia of re-discovering albums I'd loved years ago that I'd forgotten about. I totally forgot Wu Lyf and EMA were a thing. I've had a lovely time this morning pretending it's 2011 again.

I never think you can put too much stock in a list like this, but there's a bunch of great stuff on it. It definitely misses out certain genres and leans quite heavily towards others. But it's definitely a bit more comprehensive than some other lists of similar ilk in my opinion.

have we chatted about this before - do you prefer this to A Fever You Can't Sweat Out?

Controversially, Vices and Virtues is my favourite.

Too Weird is the worst for me.

I Write Sins Not Tragedies was a really catchy tune... with some of the most repetative lyris I'd heard in a long while:

Oh, well imagine
As I'm pacing the pews in a church corridor
And I can't help but to hear
No, I can't help but to hear an exchanging of words
What a beautiful wedding
What a beautiful wedding, says a bridesmaid to a waiter
And, yes, but what a shame
What a shame the poor groom's bride is a whore
I chime in with a
Haven't you ever heard of closing a goddamn door?
No, it's much better to face these kinds of things with a sense of poise and rationality
I chime in
Haven't you ever heard of closing a goddamn door?
No, it's much better to face these kinds of things with a sense of
Oh, well in fact
Well I'll look at it this way
I mean, technically, our marriage is saved
Well this calls for a toast
So pour the champagne
Oh, well in fact
Well I'll look at it this way
I mean, technically, our marriage is saved
Well this calls for a toast
So pour the champagne, pour the champagne
I chime in with a
Haven't you ever heard of closing a goddamn door?
No, it's much better to face these kinds of things with a sense of poise and rationality
I chime in
Haven't you people ever heard of closing a goddamn door?
No, it's much better to face these kinds of things with a sense of poise and rationality
Again
I chime in
Haven't you people ever heard of closing a goddamn door?
No, it's much better to face these kinds of things with a sense of poise and rationality
I chime in
Haven't you people ever heard of closing a goddamn door?
No, it's much better to face these kinds of things with a sense of poise and rationality
Again

Bold being the chorus. There's actually very little to the song at all. Catchy song, no doubt, but the lyrics were probably written in about 20 minutes on the back of a napkin haha
