So, my PS2 that hates PS1 discs and just says 'Disc Read Error' to all of them, even new ones, should work okay if I simply lay it flat?

Damn, if only there was some quick way to find out... Like turning it on it's side and testing it.

Mine didn't use to play PS1 games but putting the PS2 flat allowed me to manuvere the disc around and I got some playing. Worms Amargeddon rocks.
