PS2 Controller Question

I borrowed The Getaway: Black Monday off a friend while he went overseas. I read through the manual and find out I need a Dualshock 2 controller and ofcourse I don't have one.

I have the old school controllers. I read through some other games of mine and see that to play GTA: SA I need one too but I'm still playing it.

I don't want to fork out $60 for a new controller. Is there any way around it?

If you really want, you can always get Mad Catz or something for cheap. There are always ways around things

DON'T BUY MADCATZ!

They fucked up my PS2 plus the memory card would only work with the MadCatz controller.

There's no way around it, I had to do it for both Mafia and Samurai\Dynasty Warriors.
