Best Album

OK, last time I did Metallica, this time I'm going to do Iron Maiden. It's tough cause they have done so many good albums, but my pick is Somewhere in Time, just a great album from top to bottom.

Eh, I'm not a big Maiden fan at all. Something about them I don't like.

But I say either Piece Of Mind or Somewhere In Time.

Their ultimate album is probably Number of the Beast.... and my favorite IM song is The Trooper.

Powerslave or Piece of Mind, easily their best stuff, mid-80s. Somewhere in Time is a concept album, rock in Rio is live (although it is fantastic, if you're just looking to get into the band, it's not the best), and Dance of Death is their worst Dickinson album (though it's still good).

Saw them in Nottingham on the Dance of Death tour, they're excellent.

I would have to say Piece of Mind. I love every song on the album. Number of the Beast, and Powerslave would be a close second and third though.

Heh, same here. I've yet to own Number of the Beast, but I did borrow it from a mate for a while, it's pretty good. Piece of Mind and Powerslave are just awesome, though.
