Thank god for Mark Hughes. If we'd been lumbered with Souness all season, we'd be down now. Now, these are all from a Blackburn point of view...

Favourite Match: Blackburn 3 - Birmingham 3. Exemplified the "Never Say Die" attitude Hughes instilled in the team. Losing 3-1 at half time, then THUMP - 3-3, and should have got the winner in injury time

Favourtie Moment: Matty Jansen scoring the goal that gave Hughes the win in his first match. That meant so much to a lot of people for a lot of reasons.

Most Shocking: The media's portrayal of Andy Todd as on par with the Jack The Ripper, for an incident which always looked like an accident to everyone bar the biased Southern Media, as borne out by the F.A.

Worst Decision: Giving Diouf that penalty for throwing himself to the ground. Or allowing Alan Smith's "goal" to stand, despite the fact Saha clearly punched the ball to him

Best Decision: D'Urso forgetting he'd already booked Barry Ferguson in the Southampton game and forgetting to send him off. Bwahahahahah.

Best Goal: Morten Gamst Pedersen's right foot half volley which sent Burnley tumbling out of the F.A. Cup. Brilliance.

Best Player: Ryan Nelsen. Where the hell did Hughes find this guy? Simply superb.

Worst Player: Lorenzo Amoruso. Send the fucker back to Rangers.

Yeh, that point about City up there, they were a suprise, came out of nowhere at the the end of the season and nearly grabbed a European place. And David James up front was fucking brilliant. B)

Since Stuart Pearce has taken over, I have a bit of a soft spot for City, Pearce is just awesome. He has to be England boss one day.

Best Match: Tied between Everton 1-0 Liverpool and Everton 1-0 Man Utd.

Worst Match: Arsenal 7-0 Everton

Best moment: Either Carsley's winner in the derby, or Big Dunc's against Man Utd.

Worst moment: I don't have one really, even the Arsenal and Bolton defeats weren't that bad in the scheme of things.

Best player: Tim Cahill

Best goal: Kilbane v Norwich

Worst player: Pistone, Kilbane or Naysmith. Take your pick.

All in all, the best season ever.
