Home Movies

[Dr. Rated-R]

I saw this for the second time ever on Adult Swim last Sunday. It's called "Home Movies". Though I've only seen two episodes, I'm considering buying the 1st and 2nd seasons on DVD. I'm just wondering, as I've obviously not saw a lot of it, if the whole series is as funny as the episodes I've saw are? Yeah, what's your opinion and such?

By the way, the one I've saw most recently is when Brendon 'breaks up' with... I don't remember the character's name. They're filming a movie about the seven-tentacled 'Septopus', and one of the funniest lines I've ever heard (for whatever reason) comes as a result of it. "Septopus, Septopus, it has seven testicles..." "Wait... aren't they called 'tentacles'?"

I personally love home movies, and have both series. If you like the episodes you have seen, then you will probably like the rest of the episodes. In my opinion, you should go get them. Class stuff.

Yup. If you like one or two Home Movies episodes, you're probably going to like them all. It's a rather acquired taste in terms of humor, but I find it to be really funny.

Man, I love the Soccer Coach the best. Steals the show everytime he is in it.

Yeah, Coach McGuirk is classic. Nothing better then a drunk soccer coach to brighten up a series. Mr Lindensen, the mothers boss, is class when he is in it too.

I love Home Movies. I watch it whenever it's on. The entire series is hilarious.

It's awesome. I think the best episode was the "Rabbit Troop" episode.
