I have One Winged Angel (Sephiroth's Theme), can anyone reccomend me some other Uematsu composures? I'm looking specifically for music from Final Fantasy 7, but I'll accept just about any suggestions.

I'd pretty much recommend the whole FF7 score, but just for shits and giggles, check out The Black Mages. It's his band, and they play rock/metal covers of Final Fantasy themes.

Just get the whole score, as Skumfrog said. There are symphonic versions, and the versions from the game.

Also, the Black mages are good, but they do a mix of all FF games, so if you've only played the later stuff, you might not know it (like I had).

Nobuo Uematsu has pretty much been involved in every single Final Fantasy soundtrack to date, the amount of scores he has composed is vast, I particularly love the FF9 OST.

The first two were covered by the Black Mages too. Very good covers may I add. There are also 3 songs from the FF7 soundtrack that were later given the orchestral treatment : "One Winged Angel", "Aeriths Theme" and "Main Theme".

Theres nothing really on the FF7 soundtrack thats as good as One Winged Angel though. Check out "Liberi Fatali", thats a pretty powerful song, plays during the intro of FF8.

I'm a fan of "Terra" from FFVI. I would recommend tracking down a version of it called "Terra In Black" by a guy called Ailsean. Absofrickinlutely AMAZING.

Opening track has the intro to "Dancing Mad" which then goes straight into "Tinas Theme". Ohhhh yeaaaahhhhh.

Eh, I prefer the FFX OST (and, for that matter, the FFX-2 OST) to anything on the PSone/SNES. 'To Zanarkand' is probably my favorite video game song that wasn't from Chrono Cross or Baten Kaitos.

I was just about to recomend Ailsean's mix, actually, it's available on www.ocremix.org, as are a number of other Final Fantasy remixes, and mixes of pretty much any game under the sun. I heartily endorse the Cosmo Canyon metal remix too.
