  1. For the end of the episode:
  2. No one said "I got a rock" yet?
  3. This is going to be a long season to be a Bulls fan. Derrick Rose is the ONLY player on the team who can penetrate. Everyone else takes a jump shot first, asks questions later. Our two options are have Derrick drive and hope for the best or dump it into Boozer. With everyone else, it's like the Ben Gordon days all over again. /gameoneoveroverreaction
  4. The whole Wendigo stuff from the novel is one of the last times I feel like I was absolutely terrified by the written work. I don't even really remember how it all went, I just remember being supremely freaked out when I read it ages ago.
  5. Damnit, Matzat. If you don't like the show why don't you quit bitching abo- Oh, Shit. Hi Maxx. Carry on. EDIT: I actually agree with this prediction.
  6. I don't know why, but I always thought the guy who played Rhodes was also Larry Underwood in The Stand. I am very disappointed to realize the awful truth. My uncle apparently knows the guy who played Bub............. (scanning imdb) WHAT? BUB WAS IN THE STAND? My spidey sense is really wigging out here.
  7. I was convinced that the last shot of that episode was going to be...
  8. What if I want to save with a different character? This seems like a poor game mechanic. You're behind the times. When the feature was first revealed last year, everyone was making that joke. Pfft. Has anyone seen that new HD intro for FFVII? I can't wait to see it on PS3.

  10. Watched Oz The Great And Powerful on Blu-ray tonight, and tried very hard to just take it for what it was, instead of comparing it to the 1939 classic and Return to Oz, a nostalgia-tinted guilty pleasure of mine. It was... just "there." Mila Kunis was godawful across the board in this one. There were some things I like, but Kunis just hit all the wrong notes across the board. I didn't buy her as naive and innocent before the transformation, and after the transformation I don't feel she took things far enough. I would have enjoyed it more if she simply hammed it up across the board with cackling and bravado but it seems like she didn't do shit and threw out a few half-assed angry screams here and there. I liked Kunis in Forgetting Sarah Marshall and heard she did a good job in Black Swan, but I was EXTREMELY disappointed in her performance here. I've seen a lot of people ragging on Franco, but he didn't bother me that much. Oz is a pretty sleazy character, and he brought that out. He could have been worse. I didn't mind the voice performance of Zach Braff. The China Doll was a really good CGI character and vocal performance, I thought. She was one of the few characters that actually managed to make me feel anything. Rachel Weisz was fun. I wish she had played the WWotW character instead of Kunis, but I appreciated the fact that she actually made some acting choices with her role instead of just saying lines. Michelle Williams did the best job, IMO. I never really cared for Glinda, but she gave the character a real sense of sweetness and nobility without any of it seeming unnatural. This was the best performance in the film, I felt. I don't entirely regret watching it, it wasn't that great, it wasn't that terrible.
  11. Lebron finally has as many rings as Adam Morrison and it only took him twice as many tries to get them!
  12. The Cavs have another #1 Draft pick, they could get REALLY good in the next few seasons. Irving is a budding superstar and they have some good young talent. They still have some room to maneuver before they have to start extending players like Kyrie, so if they make a solid consolidation trade for another top-shelf talent to pair with him, they could be a winning team VERY soon.
  13. Pfft. Robert's "character" was from Chicago. Keep the kayfabe alive!
  14. So I had a video from Tough Enough show up on my recommended videos on youtube and figured I'd watch it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v54I7i2KiAY Go to 5:10. I swear that's T-Dog. IronE Singleton's real first name is Robert. I can't find anything about him being on the show, though.
  15. Damnit, McGrady is going to Glenn Robinson himself into a ring, isn't he?
  16. Honestly, the big hint that she wasn't 18 should have come when her post-wedding scene stopped before she got completely naked. Most women only last 3-4 episodes before that happens.
  17. I respectfully disagree. She had a decent introduction, and I thought they were going somewhere with her being a cunning, two-steps ahead, mocking manipulator but instead they just decided to... have Jon Snow's Mary Sue character win the heart of the vivacious wildling princess, proving that true love is all it takes to soothe the savage beast within a few days of meeting. EDIT: Thinking more about it, there are a few characters in The Wall storyline that I start to like, but they usually get killed off or discarded right away. I like the older captain guy that seemed to give Jon Snow shit all the time. The captain that just got killed off had a decent arc and I'm finding Mance Rayder pretty entertaining lately. I just hesitate to get attached to Rayder because he seems to be the latest in this line of "powerful authority figure is introduced, becomes associated with Jon Snow, then dies" line.
  18. Poor throne-in (hehe, puns) joke playing on the fact that the only thing I can remember about her character is she has red hair? Sure, she talks a little dirty and has conflicted motivations, but in her heart of hearts she truly loves Jon S.....orry I just fell asleep in the middle of writing that. I don't know why, but nothing involving The Wall has really appealed to me AT ALL during the entire show. The only two exceptions were a scene ages ago where Tyrion visited to drop of Jon Snow (might have been the first or second episode of the series) and the bit where Arya and Gendry were getting taken to The Wall and the guy put a knife to the King's Guard guy's balls. Sam had a cool scene to end the last episode, but overall his story has been rather underwhelming too.
  19. That was a pretty awesome episode. From a biased standpoint, it left out characters that I can't stand and focused on stories that I actually care about. The Jon Snow and Greyjoy Bastard storylines bore me to tears, so I was thrilled that they were ignored. I was actually a little worried when the last scene started because I was worried that Jon Snow and Meridia were going to get the main event slot again. Sam surprised me in that scene, mostly because I actually thought the three of them were going to buy it right there. That's what I really like about this show, I feel like the stakes are high enough where anyone can go in any episode. I was half expecting Tyrion to be feigning drunkenness during the whole wedding either to completely drop it when they got back to his room or to interrupt any surprise Joffrey rape.
  20. Damnit, Maxx. We've moved on to reposting an annoying picture of the next DeAndre Jordan and aren't talking about the Wizards anymore!
  21. This is actually a pretty good fit. Noel should be ready to go just in time for Varejao to have his annual season-ending injury.
  22. I have to amend this. It turns out that the Gilbert son that I wanted to punch in the face is actually a rapper named Machine Gun Kelly.
