  1. Pizzamonkey is the John Leguizamo guitar. He only speaks the truth.
  2. Call me crazy, but as soon as the song started, I felt like it sounded eerily like http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U0mL2gzy8dE. Not the vocals, but the music.
  3. I've been pretty good about staying far away from anything story related for the game. THe battles system looks interesting, but I'm a little cautious about the whole 562375897-898463-7835789037-835-85678567909450659056lotsoffuckingnumberseverywhere490683457689457-39037-3-7 gimmick. It's fine if they were showing off limit breaks or summons or whatever, but if I start the game and the first attack I do goes for ten hits of 47 hp apiece I think it might get a little old. But yeah, pretty stoked. A few of those cutscenes were some of the best CGI I've ever witnessed. Looking forward to it.
  4. That was pretty cool. This is next year sometime? PS3?
  5. I'd mark pretty hard for that Dudley stable.
  6. Just imagine where DeJuan Blair would have gone this year if he hadn't pulled his name out of the draft!
  7. I found it hilarious. The two best things about this season are that Walton and Morrison finally got those rings. If John is the Shaman of Sexy, Adam is the Shaman of Stache. Come down to the Palace of Tears.
  8. The Magic were INCREDIBLY streaky all season. They hit a good patch for most of the finals and matched up very well with the Sixers, Celts and Cavs. They played a bit more down-to-earth in the finals and the Lakers played them exactly how they needed to play them, they let Dwight be a beast on the boards and mostly shut down Lewis and Turk, trying to force Rafer and Courtney Lee to beat them. Spoiler: Click here to viewThey didn't. The Laker's simply had too many options on offense. Orlando could handle guys like Iggy and Pierce/Allen/Rondo, and they even managed to take care of Lebron because they didn't really have to worry about anyone else on that Cavalier team. LA got production from EVERYWHERE. Gasol, Bynum, Ariza, Fish... everyone played their role the way they needed to. Say what you will about Phil Jackson getting handed great teams, but Jordan, Pippen, Shaq and Kobe don't make him a legend, Paxson, Grant, Kerr, Kukoc, Horry, Fisher and Ariza do.
  9. I would have said the same about the Knicks even a few years ago, but really I would like them to become competitive again so that I can feel better about hating them. I miss having a team to hate. I thought Miami would become that team, but I can't really bring myself to hate Wade even though he always kills us. I can still probably name over a dozen players from those 90s Knicks teams that I wanted to see fuck off and die. Ewing, Oakley, Starks, Hubert, Pat Riley, Starks, Derek Harper, STARKS, Hue Hollins. Fortunately, the Knicks and Bulls both seem to be improving, so I hope we renew that rivalry. If Larry Hughes clotheslines D-Rose I think we'll have a good start.
  10. That was amazing, shades of when I was ten years old and Jordan hit the shot over Ehlo. THAT is the iconic moment Lebron needed to become "it." The only other moment I saw that matched that was Paxson's three over PHX. Then I vomited because I had some kind of vomit disease. GO 93 BULLS!
  11. Actually, the guy IS doing air quotes. And forget about telling me what store to go to. It turns out that my, um, moving picture device doesn't have enough remembering...stuff to allow this entertainment thing to... do stuff, when it was more than adequate for previous iteration of said... wait, why am I using a euphemism for saying my video card doesn't have enough memory?
  12. I have a few stores I'd like to go to, but I don't know if they are selling the game I'm looking for, or just the box with something else inside. Could someone pm me the store they are going to?
  13. That game was unbelievable. Brad Miller is Caucasian Superman. Sucks that I have to work Saturday night, but I guess I'll take frequent breaks to run back into the break room.
  14. Cyan would be much more tolerable if you could just pick which SwdTech you wanted him to use and it just waited that amount of time before using it. The fact that you have to stay on him the WHOLE TIME is what really kills any usefulness he might have.
  15. Gau is fantastic if you like blue mages... I tend to NOT like blue mages, but I don't deny that Gau is potentially one of the best characters in the game. Cyan is... terrible. Storyline-wise he's an ok character, but there's never really any reason to play as him. His sword techs take much too long to set up and they don't pack as much impact as other special attacks like a blitz from Sabin or whatever. His swords aren't the most powerful thing in the word, and he's only really decent if he carries the black belt so he can counterattack sometimes. But if you're going to have someone counterattack, you're better off with Shadow in your party since he can also Throw.
  16. Looking forward to starting this. Last time I played this I wanted to get everything so I did the cheat on that river where you first fight Ultros and left the game on overnight. I'm not going to do any of that shit this time around but I'll still try to get as much stuff as I can. Maybe this time I'll even try to beat AtmaWeapon with something other than that one moogle dance!
  17. VI, I haven't played for a few years and it's QUITE possibly the best game ever made.
  18. D-Rose is going to take the Bulls further than people think. This will be like when Paul took the Hornets to the conference finals only D-Rose is going to do this as a rookie.
  19. B.B. King is also a good choice for blues. He's a bit poppier version of Stevie Ray, I'd say.
  20. So I watched the workprint last night, a few thoughts. Spoiler: Click here to viewOverall... not impressed. Better than X3, not as good as the first two X-Men movies. Jackman doesn't impress, there are a lot of attempts at "humor" that really fall flat, especially with Keamy from lost and Will.I.Am. Kayla is also pretty terrible in this, and Wolverine does one of the worst "Noooooooooooooooooo!"s in recent memory. Reynolds is good as Wade for like five minutes in the beginning, I actually thought Deadpool was pretty creepy but seemed like a waste of failed potential, they built him up only to Darth Maul him. New Stryker can't hold Cox's jock. Best performance/part of the movie? Liev Schreiber. He makes Sabretooth seem like a legitamate movie character. I would love to see him in a main X-Man movie. He made me realize how terrible Tyler Mane was. Sabretooth was never my favorite character and the writing of this movie wasn't very good, but I think Liev actually succeeded despite the terrible writing. Gambit was similarly terrible. Movie was ultimately forgettable, unless special effects and deleted scenes include Oscar-worthy scriptwriting or an Emma Frost hardcore porn scene, movie will probably debut #1 and then drop off to bomb ridiculously hard.
  21. not sure if this was posted, but... For fans (Or non-fans?) of FFVIII http://www.spoonyexperiment.com/category/f...sy-viii/page/2/
  22. Cabin Fever. Not even Rider Strong could save that crap. It's kind of unfair to list any Uwe Boll movie. Because of the way those films are made, they tend to get big-name talent. I believe he waits until about a week before the shoot to cast people so he can get big stars who are on a break and have a month or two free to get a quick paycheck. Alone In The Dark: Christian Slater, Tara Reid, Stephen Dorff (I guess only Slater and Dorff could be loosely considered good actors, but still decent names) BloodRayne: Kristanna Loken, Michael Madsen, Billy Zane, Meat Loaf, Michelle Rodriguez, Ben Kingsley In the Name of the King was already mentioned.
  23. Silent Hill (whole series, pretty much) is a mixed bag for me. It's half really good and the other half is just weird as hell. I believe the soundtrack for "The Room" is probably the best. Chrono Trigger has an amazing soundtrack. Final Fantasy is pretty great as well. They recycle a lot of tracks which either breeds familiarity or contempt. This works in most cases, but if I hear another variation on that damned Chocobo song again... This one is outside the box, but I always thought Super Mario World had some good music, especially the castle and underground themes. Then there are the singular themes that are pretty classic... Legend of Zelda, Tetris. Mega Man 2!
  24. That looks like the tribal tattoo equivalent of getting a dick drawn on you when you pass out at a party.
  25. I'm glad I found Suikoden II about 5-6 years ago at a used game store. Best $15 I ever spent! But then the third one sucked so bad that I didn't even bother with any of the rest...
