Liking the nom for Entourage. Piven really makes that show work.

Other than that, I don't really have much to say about the nominations, especially considering I only have a few new shows I watch regularly.

Oh, and Spader's a good nomination choice, too. (Y)

CCH Pounder finally got herself an Emmy Nomination. She has been excellent in her roles since the start and it took four seasons to get it. Michael Chiklis not getting nominated, though, for anything is retarded. Same thing for Denis Leary and Julian McMahon. These three should be up for Best Lead Actor in a Drama. I did not enjoy Glenn Closes' character all that much, to be honest.

"Middle Grounds" for the Wire was an awesome episode, and I'd like to see the Wire get the win, just because it's a tramendous show and deserves the award. Rescue Me and Lost's "Pilot" episodes also have a chance. I think Lost is winning, though.

But I don't see how Nip/Tuck and Rescue Me didn't get nominated for Best Drama, either. Nip/Tuck got nothing at all.

I have to agree wit RM on Terry O’Quinn. He should get the win. I've enjoyed his character up until "The Moth" thus far.

Not really thrilled about John C. McGinley STILL not getting a nomination, but 4 nominations for Scrubs > *. Maybe this will convince the idiots at NBC to put the show back on the schedule, because it's one of the rare NBC shows drawing Emmy nominations this point, and one of two sitcoms to get anything for the network. Hopefully it'll be a ratings draw once it gets back because of the industry kudos.
