Tennay- Hello fans of World Championship Wrestling, Im Mike Tennay and as always joined by Bobby the Brain Hennan, we are only three days away from Souled Out in what will promise to be a great night of wrestling. This is Thunder and what will happen tonight leading into the PPV, what we do now is that tonight in the main event it will be a six-man tag as three nWo members Kevin Nash, Scott Hall and Jeff Jarrett team up to take on Sid, Goldberg, and Diamond Dallas Page

Bobby- Tennay what a main event that is, The outsiders colliding with Sid and Goldberg and will DDP and Jarrett get their hands on each other, my guess is yes they will and it wont be pretty, but when is WCW ever pretty.

Tennay- Also at Souled out we will see Terry Funk and Shane Douglas go at it in a Falls count anywhere match and tonight they will meet in a hardcore tag team match as Funk teams with Konnan of the Filthy Animals and they will face of against Shane Douglas and Perry Saturn of the Revolution. And we will also see Benoit and Hart sigh the contract for their title match up at Souled Out.

Page, Jarrett brawl

The music of the nWo hits over the arena, coming out to a chorus of boo’s is the United States heavyweight champion Jeff Jarrett. Jarrett climbs into the ring and grabs a mic of the announcer.

Jarrett-Page IAM going to make this nice and simple for you, get your ass out here now, im going to do what I should have done along time ago, im going to put you out of the picture and make sure that you wont be capable of getting to Souled Out.

Without hesitation Dallas Page comes running out from the back and makes his way into the ring, Page and Jarrett brawl throwing punches left right and Center at each other. They make their way out of the ring and into the crowd, continuously brawling with each other they eventually go out of sight and into the backstage areas of the arena with the security quickly following behind. 83%

Match 1

Terry Funk and Konnan vs Shane Douglas and Perry Saturn.

Hardcore match

Douglas whips Funk into the corner and follows up with a run and smashes a trash can lid over the head of Funk, Funk falls to the ground Douglas starts stomping away at the ankle of Funk, Douglas picks Funk up and sets him on the top turnbuckle, Douglas goes to the outside to find the trash can he sets it up in the middle of the ring and goes back over to Funk attempting a suplex, but Funk fights back with punches to the head of Douglas, Douglas falls back of the turnbuckle and straight onto the trash can. Perry Saturn props Konnan up and lands a chair shot to his head, he again props Konnan up runs of the ropes and with a swing Konnan ducks and Saturn nails Douglas, oh Saturn with a bad miss getting his own partner, Konnan grabs Saturn and chucks him outside. Funk kick to the gut of the groggy Douglas and follows up with a DDT oh straight onto the trash can. Funk with the pin 1....2.....3 the ref raises the hands of Konnan and Funk, but Saturn and Douglas attempt to beat them down, but Funk and Konnan fight all four men end up in the aisle way fighting to the top of the ramp way and out of sight of the cameras.

Bobby- Tennay, Funk got the pin fall over Douglas, if anyone has doubted Funk over these past few weeks then tonight should have reassured them, Souled Out is going to be great Funk and Douglas will go one on one Falls count anywhere, we could see them all over the arena, Tennay remember when Douglas said he would beat Funk anywhere in the parking lot, in the backstage, well this Sunday that will happen.

Tennay- It will truly be amazing when Funk and Douglas do finally go one on one, what they will do to each other only we can imagine.

Coming up shortly the contract signing between Chris Benoit and Bret Hart for their title match this Sunday at Souled Out.

Kidman attack

The camera cuts out to the back

The cruiserweight champion Evan Karagias is shown walking backstage looking smugly with his Cruiserweight championship draped across his shoulder. Billy Kidman is closely walking behind and spots the cruiserweight champion, Kidman quickly jumps at Karagias sending him flying to the floor

Kidman- See Evan doesn’t feel so good does it, being sneak attacked being cheated out of a fair fight ha see you at Souled Out Champ. 64%

Tennay- Well Kidman getting some sort of retribution on the Cruiserweight champ, after all that he has done to Kidman over the past with the sneak attacks and beat downs. It was about time Kidman got some revenge.

Well up next is the contract signing between The Hitman and The Crippler Chris Benoit.

Contract signing

Ventura is in the ring overseeing the contract signing between Benoit and Hart.

Bret Hart and Chris Benoit stare at each other showing nothing but hatred for each other, they both take a seat on opposite ends of the table set up in the middle of the ring, Bret is the first one to put pen to paper and accept the official match up against Chris Benoit at Souled Out, Bret slides the contract over to Benoit keeping eyes locked on him at all times, Benoit keeps his eyes locked on Bret until he looks down and puts his name next to Bret’s, the match is official Souled Out Bret Hart vs Chris Benoit heavyweight championship on the line. Almost immediately the Hitman attacks Benoit, Hart slams Benoit’s head of the table and starts stomping away at him, Bret picks up Benoit and holds him up in a suplex position and straight through the table, Bret Hart has just put Benoit through a table, Benoit is out cold, The Hitman has taken out the Crippler. Bret Hart hasn’t finished he goes over to Benoit and locks him in the Sharpshooter, Bret slides out of the ring happy with the damage he has done, the Heavyweight champion has taken out the number one contender. 80%

Tennay- Well Bret Hart sneak attacking Benoit again, why couldn’t Hart just sign the contract and be done with it.

Bobby- Because Tennay that’s not the nWo way and you of all people should know that, don’t act all shocked and surprised when an nWo member uses underhand tactics, it’s in their nature.

Tennay- Well up next Johnny the bull and David Flair

Match 2

Johnny The Bull vs David Flair.

The Bull with a powerslam on Flair, follows up with an elbow drop and another, The Bull picks Flair up and whips him of the ropes, Flair comes back and is sent to the canvas with a clothesline.

The Bull is on fire as he whips Flair into the corner turnbuckle and goes over and starts with punches to the head of Flair 1.2.3.4.5.6.7.8.9. and 10 the crowd pops as Flair falls to the ground. Crowbar comes running down the aisle and into the ring he spins the Bull around and kick to the gut Piledriver, Flair crawls over The Bulls body 1...2....3 its all over Flair defeats Johnny The Bull after a piledriver form the interfering Crowbar. Flair and Crowbar start beating down on The Bull, kicks and stomps but here comes Vito with a kendo stick in hand he gets in the ring and slams the stick of Crowbars head, and then Flair sending them retreating out of the ring, The Bull gets up looks at Vito and they nod, Vito and The bull charge out of the ring chasing Flair and Crowbar, Flair and Crowbar want no part in this as they run as fast as possible though the entrance way with Vito and The Bull closely behind.

Tennay- A preview of things to come this Sunday at Souled Out, from one preview to another we take you to The Outsiders for a few words.

Outsiders interview

Nash- Goldberg, Sid, this is it in 3 days time at Souled Out we get to beat the living crap out of you and finally end this, you just don’t understand that no one in WCW can take out The Outsiders and the nWo.

Hall- Sid on Thunder you must have felt so good coming down to the ring and Power bombing me, well come Sunday at Souled Out it will be me and big Kev that lay your ass’s out, like Kev said there is no one in WCW that can stop the Outsider and the nWo and that means both of you two. Hey Sid remember Starrcade when Nash kicked your ass all over the ring you can expect the same thing to happen on Sunday.87%

Backstage attack

The camera moves around the corner where we see Flair and Crowbar.

David Flair and Crowbar are walking backstage mumbling to each other making no sense at all, The Mamalukes spot their opponents for Souled Out and make their way over to them and start brawling with them. Vito finds a pipe and slams it of the ribs of Crowbar, The Bull brawls with Flair and eventually ends up body slamming him through a wooden pallet.

The Mamalukes have beaten Flair and Crowbar down.64%

Tennay- Well the Mamalukes showing Crowbar and Flair they are no pushovers. Is this what we will see at Souled Out, the Mamalukes leaving Flair and Crowbar down and out, leaving with the Tag titles.

Bobby- Who knows Tennay, like I said before it’s a possibility but Flair and Crowbar are unpredictable it could go either way.

Tennay- Well we have just heard that Goldberg will be making his way towards the ring, apparently he wants to address The Outsiders.

Goldberg warns Outsiders

Goldberg comes down to the ring with a microphone he gets into the ring looking bemused.

Goldberg- Outsiders I heard you talking crap backstage and thought id come out here and put you two goofs straight.

Hall makes his way down to the ring make sure Goldberg doesn’t get chance to address him.

Hall- Goldberg I come out here to make sure you get the message straight me and Kev will kick your ass.

Hall and Goldberg begin brawling all around the ring area looking likely to put each other out before Sunday, when Ventura appears on the entrance ramp and signals for the boys in the back to come and split them up, half the roster comes down and hold Goldberg and Hall apart.

Tennay- This is getting wild, wait till Sunday these men will destroy each other.

Bobby- I say let them fight, let them go and tear each other apart, makes for good Tv doesn’t it.

Tennay- Yes it sure does, and this Sunday will be no exception, but in the mean time we have Evan Karagias and Rey Misterio up next in a non title match.

Match 3

Evan Karagias vs Rey Misterio Jr..

None Title

Karagias whips Rey to the ropes, Rey jumps on the second rope and Springboard Moonsault, 1...2.. Kick out, that was close. Rey runs at Karagias and slides under his legs, Rey with a dropkick to the back of Karagias sens him flying through the middle rope to the outside. Rey grabs the ropes and looks to jump to the outside but Karagias comes rolling back in time and instead Ry lands on the ring apron, Rey springs himself off the top rope Flying Hurricanrana! 1....2....3. it’s all over Rey has pinned the Cruiserweight champion

Kidman comes running down the ring with a chair he gets in the ring congratulates Rey and nails Karagias with the chair Kidman climbs the top turnbuckle and Shooting Star Press.

Tennay- Kidman again getting revenge on Karagias, but the question is will he be able to do the same at Souled Out and win back the Cruiserweight title.

Well up next is Bret Hart and he apparently wants to address Chris Benoit.

Bobby- This should be good Tennay, hey and watch out for the nWo

Bret interview

Bret Hart is in the ring, he has the WCW World belt showing it of to the crowd as he gloats.

Bret- You see Chris this Sunday at Souled Out this is what we will be competing for, but take a long hard look at this belt, because Chris after I beat your ass at Souled Out you will never see this belt again, make the most of it, this is the best chance you will ever get, and while im champion the only chance. Chris what I did to you earlier proves you are no where near in my league, I beat you down and destroyed you, I put you in the Sharpshooter and left you in a heap of agony, just like ill do to you this Sunday at Souled Out.

The music of Benoit plays over the PA as the crowd erupts.

Chris Benoit comes down and gets in the ring.

Benoit- Bret as soon as Souled Out is finished and I have my arm raised as the new Heavyweight champion I will make sure you eat your own words, Bret I will prove to you that in WCW you are not the best there is,

Bret goes to swing at Benoit but Benoit ducks and grabs the back of Hart slamming him down with three consecutive German Suplexes. Bret crawls to his feet but is brought straight back down as Benoit grabs Hart’s arm and puts him in the Crippler Crossface. Bret is taping, Bret is taping, the referees come out and drag Benoit of Hart, Benoit grabs Hart’s title and poses with it much to the delight of the crowd as he receives loud cheers. 74%

Tennay- Brain all along you have been saying Benoit has no chance, Bret will have the nWo, well where were they, Benoit and Bret went one on one and Benoit came out on top, Souled Out we could very well be seeing a new Heavyweight champion.

And speaking of the nWo they are up next as they take on Sid, Goldberg and Diamond Dallas Page.

Bobby- Ok so Bret didn’t have the nWo tonight but I can guarantee that at Souled Out Benoit will have some unwelcomed company.

Main Event

nWo vs Sid, Goldberg, and Diamond Dallas Page.

The Outsiders, Goldberg and Sid are all brawling on the outside near the announcers desk, Jarrett and Page are both down on the canvas after nailing each other with a double clothesline they are the two legal men in the match up, Sid grabs Hall lifts him high in the air and drops him throat first onto the guard rail, Nash goes to whip Goldberg into the steps at ringside but Goldberg reverses the whip sending Nash crashing into the steps. Sid and Goldberg signal to each other as they pick up their opponents Sid whips Hall towards Goldberg, Goldberg whips Nash towards Sid and The Outsiders go crashing into each other to loud cheers from the crowd. Back in the ring Jarrett sends a punch to the face of Page, he swings again sending Page to ground, Jarrett picks Page up and whips him into the corner turnbuckle, Jarrett goes running at Page but is met with a boot to the face, Page walks over to Jarrett and lands a neck breaker, he goes for the cover 1....2.....oh kick out from Jarrett. Page grabs Jarrett and throws him to the outside where all six men are brawling, Jarrett lands a low blow on Page, Jarrett now grabs Page and slams his head of the announcers desk. Goldberg and Nash are sending lefts and rights to each other, Sid has Hall beat down on the floor, Jarrett goes to the announcers desk and finds out his Guitar, Jarrett goes to hit Page with the guitar but Sid grabs the guitar from Jarrett as Page quickly pounces on Jarrett and Diamond Cutter, Page just laid out Jarrett on the outside with a Diamond Cutter, Sid gets kicked in the crotch by Hall before he could do anything with the guitar, Page rolls Jarrett into the ring 1.....2......But Hall comes and breaks the pin up, Goldberg spots Hall in the ring and drags him back to the outside, Hall and Goldberg now brawling, Nash see’s the guitar and slams it of the head of Goldberg, Nash has layed out Goldberg, The Outsiders walk almost stalking over to Sid as they both grin at each other.

Back in the ring with Jarrett and Page, Jarrett setting Page up for the Stroke, but Page sends an elbow to the gut of Jarrett, Jarrett drops his guard and Diamond Cutter the second Diamond Cutter on Jarrett, The Outsiders haven’t seen it and Page goes for the cover 1.....2......3 yes, yes, yes Page got the pinfall over Jarrett the crowd goes wild, but The Outsiders look irate. They drop Sid to the floor and make their way over to Page, Hall attacks Page with punches to the gut and Nash sets Page up with the Jacknife powerbomb the Outsiders have take Page out, they make their way back over to Sid, Hall grabs a chair and nails Sid with it, one shot and another shot Sid has been taken out, Goldberg with a SPEAR on Hall Goldberg has speared Hall, Hall is down but Nash picks up a chair and Slams Goldberg with it, Nash setting Goldberg up with a Jacknife straight through the announcers desk.

I can’t believe this Jarrett is down in the ring, Page is down, Sid has been taken out with some vicious chair shots, Hall is down after being speared, Nash used the guitar on Goldberg, then he nailed him with a chair shot and put him through the announcers desk. Nash is the only man left standing, but wait Page has crawled out of the ring he spins Nash around and DIAMOND CUTTER Page has used his last breath of energy to take out Nash, Page drops back down to the floor all six men are down what a match, what a night.

Tennay- What a match, Page got the pinfall over Jarrett, if he does that on Sunday he will become the new United States heavyweight champion, and look at the carnage that has happened all six men are down they have beat the hell out of each other. Just 3 days till Souled Out, and what a night that will be will we see a repeat of night, make sure to tune into Souled out.

The heavyweight champion Bret Hart taking on The Canadian Crippler Chris Benoit for the championship, The Outsiders verses Sid and Goldberg, Terry Funk and Shane Douglas in a falls count anywhere match, and many more.

Larry- That is right Tennay Souled Out will be a fantastic night plus matches you haven’t mentioned like Billy Kidman and Evan Karagias for the Cruiserweight title, The Mamalukes against David Flair and Crowbar for the tag team titles, and of course nWo member Jeff Jarrett going head to head against DDP Diamond Dallas Page.

A great high flying action packed match with a lot of pace, the match was a back and forth between the two battling for the advantage, Juvi ended the close match up with his finishing move, Splash Mountain.

Rick Steiner vs Konnan.

Konnan got a couple of near pinfall’s on Steiner. Steiner fought back after the near pinfall’s with some stiff clotheslines and power moves, Steiner then had the upper hand for most of the ending of the match, the ending came when Konnan whipped Steiner into the corner turnbuckle and charged at him but got a boot to the gut and Steiner capitalised and followed up with a Steiner Bulldog for the three count.

Terry Funk and Shane Douglas will battle in a Falls Count Anywhere match and what a brutal bloodfest it could turn into after the bad blood between the two in recent weeks.

All of this and more be sure to tune into Souled Out on ppv this Sunday January the 30th.

WCW Souled Out 2000

30th January

The PPV begins with a video package highlighting the events over the past four weeks, the nWo are shown assaulting Ventura on his first night, Bret Harts sneak attacks on Benoit are shown along with Benoit making Bret tap out. Diamond Dallas Page is shown hitting the Diamond Cutter on Jeff Jarrett, and then The Outsiders are shown brawling with Sid and Goldberg and the video ends with the image of Nash Power bombing Goldberg through the announcers desk.

Pre PPV

Before the camera cuts to the announcers we are taken backstage to the image of Jesse Ventura sitting at a desk looking into the camera.

Ventura- I sat down at home and was thinking about tonight’s main event I sat there thinking to my self what a great match it will be, nothing short of a master piece, then I thought how could I make it a master piece, so I pondered for a bit then came up with Tonight one on one Bret Hart vs Chris Benoit for the heavyweight championship in a Submission match. 83%

The fireworks go of to signal the start of Souled Out the camera pans around the arena showing all the crowd yelling and screaming holding up their signs, eventually the camera cuts to the announcing team for tonight.

Tony- Welcome fans to WCW Souled Out, im Tony Schiavone joined by Bobby the Brain Hennan and fans what a night tonight will be, we have some amazing matches scheduled for tonight and we will see some bitter rivalries ended, we might see title changes and we will defiantly see some amazing wrestling because fans this is Souled Out.

Bobby- Tony this is amazing, it is such a great feeling to be among all these people they are sure be red hot for tonight’s event, Tony what will happen only time will tell, we might see a new heavyweight champion, we might see a new cruiserweight champion, we will see new Tag team champions and when it comes down to Funk and Douglas we might even see a bloodbath as they battle it out all over the arena, what a night this will be.

Tony- And what about the announcement that aired just before the start of the PPV that the main event between Bret Hart and Chris Benoit will now be a Submission match.

Bobby- Tony that match will truly be a classic, both men masters of Technical wrestling and submission style is surly both their favourites, stick them in submission matches against any one else and they will win, but stick them in submission matches against each other and well, it’s just too close to call, but Tony I stick by what I have said over these past few weeks, Bret will retain, not because he is superior in the ring, not because he is the better man, but because he has the nWo.

Tony- That certainly is an interesting thought and they way the nWo are so stuck together you have to wonder what chance does Benoit really have against Bret. Well that is something we will look forward to watching, but now the first action of the night, the Cruiserweight title on the line, Billy Kidman going up against three count member and Cruiserweight champion Evan Karagias.

Match 1

Evan Karagias vs Billy Kidman.

First man to come out is Filthy Animals member and challenger to the Cruiserweight title Billy Kidman. Kidman props himself in the far corner turnbuckle awaiting the entrance of the cruiserweight champion Evan Karagias. The Three Count music hits over the arenas PA system and we see the Cruiserweight champion Evan Karagias. Karagias comes down to the ring and stands outside posing before he can take the strap of Kidman hits Karagias with a baseball slide, Karagias is down and Kidman launches himself over the top rope and onto Karagias who just got to his feet but is back straight on the ground, Kidman grabs Karagias and whips him into the guard rail, Kidman goes charging at Karagias with a big jump but Karagias moves out of the way and Kidman ends up jumping on the guardrail, Karagias takes the strap of and dumps it on the ground and walks straight over to Kidman kicking him in the ribs and a stomp to the head, Karagias rolls Kidman into the ring and climbs the turnbuckle, Karagias launches of the top rope and lands a legdrop on the downed Kidman, Karagias with the pinfall 1...2 and a kick out. Karagias whips Kidman of the ropes and goes for the dropkick but Kidman held himself against the ropes and takes advantage by landing a running dropkick the stomach of Karagias, Kidman goes for the pinfall 1.... and a kick out, Kidman picks up Karagias and whips him into the turnbuckle Karagias bounces of the turnbuckle and Kidman runs at him and lands a diving clothesline. Kidman picks up Karagias and launches himself in the air landing a dropkick on Kidman sending him into the turnbuckle, Kidman kicks Karagias in the gut and climbs the turnbuckle landing a punch on his head, Kidman rolls himself backwards sending Karagias flying over his head, Kidman quickly goes over and makes the cover 1....2 and a kick out, Karagias quickly changed the momentum in his favour and took advantage of the match. Karagias got one near pinfall after landing a cross body off the top ropes and got the two count. They both battled each other with no one getting any clear advantage, they both end up standing on the top rope. Kidman looks like he will try for a suplex but Karagias lands a elbow to the stomach and drops Kidman onto the canvas, Kidman gets up and lands a spinning kick on the incoming Karagias , Karagias gets up and lands a punch on Kidman but Kidman retaliates with a punch to the face sending Karagias back into the turnbuckle he runs at him grabs him around the head and launches himself of the middle rope and into a Bulldog, Kidman climbs the turnbuckle launches himself of and SHOOTING STAR PRESS 1....2....3,we have a new Cruiserweight champion Billy Kidman.

Tony- Well what a match for the Cruiserweight title and what a way to start of the PPV, and we have a new champion in Billy Kidman.

Bobby- It was a great match, and we got to see a title change, will that be the only one of the night or will there be more.

Tony- Well we shall find out later on tonight but up next and a definite title decider as we will see the Tag teams of The Mamalukes and Flair and Crowbar battling out for the Tag straps.

Match 2

Mamalukes vs David Flair and Crowbar.

The first team to make their way out is that of Crowbar and Flair, they enter the ring running round screaming like lunatics, next out is The Mamalukes, they get in the ring and look ready to start the match up, Crowbar and Big Vito are the ones that will tie up to start the match.

Crowbar and Vito grab hands and play test of strength against each other Vito looks like he will win the battle, but Crowbar kicks Vito in the gut before he can do anything, Crowbar still holding onto Vito’s hand kicks him in the ribs and again with another kick, Crowbar still holding the hand of Vito whips him of the ropes goes for the clothesline but Vito ducks and on his way back they both end up clotheslining each other, they both stagger to their feet and land punches on each other, Vito gets the upper hand with his fast paced punches on Crowbar, as he gets the upper hand he backs Crowbar into the corner and goes to whip him to the opposite side but Crowbar reverses the whip and sends Vito crashing into the corner where his teammate David Flair lands a forearm on the back of Vito, Johnny the Bull spots this and tries to run over to Flair but the ref pulls him back into his corner, Crowbar sees the opportunity and he and Flair double team Vito stomping on him in the corner turnbuckle, Flair gets back onto the apron before the ref turns around, and as he does turn around Crowbar tags Flair in. Flair chops the chest of Vito and a punch to his stomach sends Vito to his knees, Flair whips Vito of the ropes and as he comes back nails his with a knee to the mid section sending him to the ground, Flair walks over to Vito and lands an elbow drop followed by a second and a pin fall, 1...2 kick out. Flair sends Vito into the corner turnbuckle and mounts him with punches to the head 1.2.3. Vito puts a stop to the punches by landing a Atomic drop on Flair and sends him crashing to the ground with a clothesline, Vito makes the tag to Johnny the bull, Crowbar sees the tag and makes entrance to the ring running at The Bull but is cut of by Vito who clotheslines him and follows up by throwing him over the top rope. Johnny the Bull and Vito grab Flair and whip him of the ropes as he comes back they launch him into the air and slam him straight back down, and throw him to the outside where Flair is down.

The two legal men Johnny the Bull and Flair got to grips with each other with the Bull taking most of the advantage through the match he landed a couple of power moves and Flair eventually got the tag out to Crowbar and The bull tagged in Vito, Flair attacked the Bull and they ended up brawling on the outside leaving the two legal men Vito and Crowbar to battle it out for the tag titles.

Vito whips Crowbar of the ropes and powerslams him as he makes his return, Vito down for the cover 1..2.. And a kick out, Crowbar low blows Vito as they get to their feet and he follows with a DDT, goes for the cover 1...2..and a kick out, Crowbar signals for a piledriver he sets Vito up but climbing the turnbuckle is The Bull who has left Flair own on the outside, launches him self at Flair and lands a kick to the face Crowbar, Vito almost automatically Powerslams Crowbar to the ground as The bull climbs the turnbuckle and launches off landing a massive legdrop on Crowbar, The Bull rolls out of the ring to keep Flair down, Vito goes over for the cover 1...2....3 the bell rings and we have new WCW Tag team champions. Tony- Well we have new Tag champions in The Mamalukes and a good hard fought victory it was, and folks from one Hard fought match to another, I know Bobby has been looking forward to this match as have I and Im sure you the fans have aswell, Terry Funk goes one on one in a Falls count anywhere match with Shane Douglas.

Bobby- And what a bloodbath this match will be.

Match 3

Terry Funk vs Shane Douglas. Falls count anywhere

The first man down to the ring is the Hardcore legend Terry Funk, Funk makes his way to the ring but refuses to step inside and gives a hard stare at the entrance ramp awaiting the arrival of Shane Douglas.

The music of the evolution starts and we see the Franchise Shane Douglas standing on the entrance ramp pointing at Funk, Douglas makes his way towards Funk, Funk decides to meet him half way and they start brawling in the aisle way.

Douglas goes to punch Funk but Funk blocks the punch and sends Douglas crashing to the floor, Funk picks Douglas up and slams his back body against the guardrail along the aisle, Funk picks Douglas up and drops him throat first onto the guardrail and follows up with some kicks to the ribs and a couple of stomps to the head of Douglas. Funk goes to pick up Douglas but is met with a low blow allowing Douglas to take advantage, Douglas sends a couple of punches the way of Funk sending him to the ground, Douglas takes Funk by the neck and walks him over to ringside, Douglas whips Funk straight into the steps at ringside. Funk crawls into the ring as Douglas goes to fetch a chair from ringside, Douglas grabs the chair and rolls into the ring and walks over to Funk and slams the chair of his head, Douglas goes for the pin 1...2..kick out. Douglas grabs Funk and chucks him over the top rope Funk stands to his feet but Douglas sends him straight back down with a baseball slide to his mid section. Douglas goes to the outside and lands a punch on Funk and another followed by a third stiff punch, Douglas then whips Funk straight into the guardrail and goes running at him but Funk with a Back Drop sending Douglas straight into the crowd. Funk has no hesitation in climbing the guardrail and into the crowd with Douglas, Funk starts punching Douglas as he makes his way over to the steps that lead towards the exit’s, Funk and Douglas climbing up the stairs as Funk slams the head of Douglas of the railings, they eventually reach the top of the stairs and are met with a big double door with an exit sign on the door. Funk goes to punch Douglas but he blocks the punch and gives him a kick to the mid section and followed up by a nasty looking powerslam straight onto the hard concrete floor. Douglas runs Funk straight into the door but it doesn’t give way, Douglas tries again and for a third time Douglas grabs Funk and slams him straight into the door and this time it opens up and we see the hallways of the arenas.

Funk and Douglas fight in the hallways with Douglas having the upper hand all of the time , Douglas slams Funk of the walls and drops him down to the floor, Douglas spots a table and chair he goes over and fetches the chair brining it back and driving it over the head of Funk, he again nails Funk with the chair and goes for the pinfall 1....2...no a kick out, Douglas slams the ground in anger he again slams the chair over the head of Funk and rolls him onto the table, Douglas finds out a ladder propped up against a wall, Douglas sets the ladder up and climbs it to the top rung, Douglas launches himself at Funk in the form of an Elbow drop but Funk rolls of the table in time and Douglas goes crashing straight through it, Funk slowly crawls to the body of Douglas and puts his arm over Douglas’s body the ref goes for the count 1...2.. And no a kick out from Douglas. Both men are down and look tired and worn out all ready, Funk is the first man to his feet and he props Douglas up and lands a mean looking punch straight on Douglas Funk spots the chair used earlier and nails a DDT on Douglas, and it looks like Funk has busted Shane Douglas open, he has blood coming from his forehead. Funk goes for the pinfall 1....2...and agin a kick out. Funk spots an open door and sends Douglas through into the room and it looks like they have stumbled into the cafeteria. Funk sends Douglas flying into a wall and looks like setting him up for a fall through one of the tables, Funk goes for a suplex but Douglas blocks it he quickly spins around and sends Funk through the table with a snap suplex. Douglas gets up and searches around the room and finds a chair, he goes over to Funk and lies the chair down flat, Douglas puts Funk between his legs and falls backwards with a sit down piledriver straight onto the chair, and Funk has been completely busted wide open, both men are bleeding ferociously and what a mess they look. Both men lay down on the floor to catch their breathes as they had both taken a beating, neither man looked like giving up the fight as they made their way back towards ringside taking the same route back as they had done so to reach the hallways of the arena. On the way down they both slammed and bumped each other of the walls, Douglas and Funk both managed to find chairs and nailed each other with the chairs shot after shot, leaving both men staggering down the steps and into the ring , neither man really looked liked they knew where they were, Douglas sends a punch to Funk but it gets blocked and Funk with a kick to the gut of Douglas and follows up by putting him in a sit down Piledriver goes for the pin 1...2... and a kick out again. How much more can these two take. Douglas gives a kick to the groin of Funk and sends him down in agony Douglas rolls to the outside and looks under the ring and out he grabs a trash can and he hasn’t finished he searches and out he pulls a table, Douglas slides the table in the ring and throws the trash can in afterwards, Douglas grabs the trash can and slams it over Funk’s head leaving him down and out this time looking for good, but Douglas sets up the table looking like he will roll Funk onto it but Funk sends a low blow to Douglas he grabs the trash can whack straight over the head of Douglas, Funk rolls Douglas onto the table he places the crushed trash can onto the body of Douglas, he looks to the turnbuckle and signals to the crowd and receives loud cheers, what is Funk doing, what he can’t go up top, but Funk through the air and of the top with a Moonsault, I cant believe he just done that he covers Douglas the ref counts 1....2......3.

Diamond Dallas Page vs Jeff Jarrett. United states championship

Diamond Dallas Page is out first he stands on the entrance ramp and as he hits the bang signal the pyro. goes of and DDP slides into the ring awaiting the arrival of the United States Heavyweight champion Jeff Jarrett.

The nWo music plays over the PA system and coming out is Jeff Jarrett belt strapped around his waist and guitar in hand, he hands the belt and guitar to the ref and things get under way.

Page and Jarrett tie up, Page gains the advantage and puts a headlock on Jarrett, but Jarrett manages to squeeze out of the headlock and runs Page against the ropes and as he comes back locks his arms around the head of Page in a sleeper hold, Jarrett gets Page down on his knees and lets go but not without a kick to the ribs of Page and Jarrett jumps in the air and comes back down with a knee to the head of Page, Jarrett picks up Page and runs his head against the turnbuckle and starts landing punches to Page backed up in the corner, Jarrett turns around and walks away to taunt the crowd, he turns back to Page and is met with a massive clothesline from Page, Page goes over to the downed Jarrett and lands kicks to the mid section, Jarrett tries to get back up but Page sends him crashing back down with a right hand, Jarrett again tries to get up but Page keeps him down with his punches. Page picks Jarrett up and whips him of the ropes and nails him with a clothesline, Page takes Jarrett to the corner turnbuckle and wraps his legs around the ringpost, Page slides out keeping hold of Jarrett’s legs and pulls him forward oh sending Jarrett groin first into the ringpost Jarrett is in agony and Page taunts him with his Bang signal

Page grabs a chair and slides in the ring he goes to hit Jarrett with it but the ref grabs the chair at the last moment, Page starts to argue with the ref and Jarrett capitalises with a roll up pin 1...2 and a kick out from Page, Jarrett keeps Page grounded with a stomp on his leg, and then a second one, Jarrett picks up Page and throws him to the outside he slides out after him and whips him of the guardrail, he this time goes to whip him against the steps at ringside but Page reverses the whip and sends Jarrett crashing into them, Jarrett gets to his feet, but is sent back down with a clothesline, Page picks him up and centres him locks up with Jarrett and a snap suplex from Page, Page grabs a chair and as Jarrett gets to his knees clinging onto the ring apron Page nails him straight across the back, Page rolls back into the ring waits till Jarrett is up and runs at him with a baseball slide that sends Jarrett crashing into the guardrail. Page rolls to the outside and grabs the downed Jarrett and with a DDT page just kept the champion down and out with that DDT. The ref counted to 9 but Jarrett had made his way back into the ring and was safe from the count-out, Page took most of the match to his advantage hitting a couple of power moves and mostly keeping Jarrett grounded either in the ring or on the outside as they ended up on outside quite often, Jarrett started to get momentum shifting his way near the end of the match up but never managed to take full advantage over Page.

Jarrett has page on the top rope looking for a suplex, but Page elbows Jarrett in the gut and shoves him of the top rope, Jarrett gets to his feet but Page launches himself of the top rope with a flying clothesline he goes for the cover 1...2 and a kick out from Jarrett. Page brings Jarrett to his feet and lands a right a left and then his trademark tornado clothesline Page goes down for the cover 1...2 and again a kick out from Jarrett, Page once again brings Jarrett to his feet Page with a left and a right and a spin for the clothesline but he is met with a kick to the groin from Jarrett and Jarrett with the STROKE, that is it Jarrett surely finishing Page of goes for the cover 1...2....and no a kick out from DDP, I cant believe that how did Page kick out, Jarrett looking furious picks up Page and slams him in the corner turnbuckle he goes to whip Page but Page holds on to Jarrett bringing him to towards him and lifts him up and lands a gutwrench powerbomb, Page with the cover 1....2....and a kick out from Jarrett, Page picks Jarrett up and whips him to the corner he runs after him but gets a boot to the gut, Jarrett goes behind Page and grabs him from behind tries to lift up Page but gets an elbow to the face and Page skips around Jarrett so he is at his back spins him around and DIAMOND CUTTER, the crowd goes nuts Page goes down with the cover the ref counts along with the crowd 1.....2......and oh Jarrett has his feet on the ropes. Page looking shocked picks up Jarrett and whips him of the ropes Page leapfrogs Jarrett as he comes back and Jarrett goes crashing into the referee, Page looks down at the ref Jarrett with a kick to the groin of Page sends him down in agony, the ref is down, Page is down and Jarrett goes to the outside to the announcers desk and picks up his Guitar that had been placed there by the ref, he rolls into the ring Page staggers to his feet and Jarrett lifts the guitar above his head and drops it straight down over Page, the guitar almost explodes with bits flying off in all directions, Jarrett kicks the bits to the outside and goes and wakes the ref up he goes down for the cover 1......2......3 Jeff Jarrett retains the United States heavyweight championship after a gruelling match up.

Tony- My god what a match we have just witnessed, I honestly thought that DDP was going to come away the winner of the match, he got so many close pinfall’s and he probably would have won that match had Jarrett not used his damn guitar.

Bobby- That is how this whole thing started with a guitar, it started with a guitar and ended with a guitar. Love or hate the man you have to give him credit for taking an opportunity and capitalising on it.

Tony- Well it’s one for the nWo can they make it two as up next is the Outsiders verses Sid and Goldberg.

Outsiders vs Goldberg and Sid.

The first team out is that of the Outsides they make their way to the ring rather cooly and relaxed looking as if the battle ahead will be a walk in the park, they pose in the ring to a loud reaction of boo’s. The music of Goldberg plays and Goldberg and Sid come out together to aloud reaction of cheers much to the amusement of the Outsiders. The ref checks both teams and signals for the start of the match, Goldberg and Hall stay in the ring as Sid and Nash make their way to the ring apron.

Goldberg ties up with Hall and using his strength walks him over to the turnbuckle and backs him in the corner with a shoulder barge, Goldberg whips Hall into the opposite corner turnbuckle, Goldberg runs at Hall but Hall gets a boot up and sends Goldberg staggering back, but the effects on Goldberg seem like nothing as he immediately charges back at Hall sending him back into the corner turnbuckle, Goldberg grabs Hall by the arm he whips him out but holding onto his arm brings him back in and follows up with a clothesline. Goldberg picks up Hall and powerslams him straight back down, Hall slowly gets back to his feet and goes to punch Goldberg but the punch gets blocked and Goldberg sends a barrage of kicks and punches at Hall, Goldberg whips Hall of the ropes and as he comes back lifts him up in the air and follows up with a gorilla press slam, down for the cover 1....2 but a kick out. Hall gets up with a shocked expression on his face and he quickly scampers over to Nash and makes the tag. Nash steps in the ring and ties up with Goldberg, they test their strength on each other as they both try to back each other up but Nash sends a knee to the stomach of Goldberg and then a big right hand followed by another and an Irish whip off the ropes and Nash follows up with a big boot to the face of Goldberg, Nash quickly goes down for the pin 1....2 and an easy kick out by Goldberg, Nash picks up Goldberg and with a big body slam followed up by an elbow drop, Nash again goes down for the cover 1....2 and an easy kick out once again from Goldberg, Nash picks up Goldberg and whips him over to the corner where Hall is awaiting him, Nash taunts Sid encouraging him to enter the ring, he does so but the ref holds him back as Scott Hall goes to work on Goldberg landing blows to the back oh his head, Nash comes in and goes for the big boot but Goldberg moves and Nash’s boot ends up in top rope, Goldberg walks away and awaits Nash to turn around, Goldberg looking for the spear charges at Nash but Nash moves and Goldberg goes straight into the ring post, Hall starts chocking on the downed Goldberg, Sid enters the ring and runs over to Hall with a kick to Halls face sending him flying to the floor, Nash comes over and goes for a punch but Sid blocks and winds up with a big punch to the face of Nash followed by a second and Sid whips Nash of the ropes and gives him a big boot as he comes back, the ref instructs Sid back to his corner. Goldberg gets to his feet Nash staggered to his and incoming Goldberg with a SPEAR, yes Goldberg spears Nash he goes down for the pin 1....2.but Hall breaks the pin and Sid comes in and starts punching Hall, Sid takes Hall to the outside and slams him of the railings , back in the ring Goldberg signals for the Jackhammer but Nash low blows Goldberg before he can do anything, Nash picks up Goldberg and walks over to the turnbuckle and drops him face first Goldberg drops to the ground, as Sid makes his way back onto the apron.

Goldberg managed to get the tag out to Sid who came in and went full throttle at Nash after a few minutes of being beaten down Nash got the tag into Scott hall. Hall went toe to toe with Sid but very rarely came out on top with Sid overpowering Hall at almost every opportunity. As the match came near the end Nash started interfering and Goldberg came in to make the match even, all four men went at each with Goldberg and Nash ending up on the outside with the legal men Hall and Sid left in the ring.

Hall lands a punch onto Sid, and then a kick to the kneecap of Sid that leaves Sid standing on one leg, Hall kicks the other leg and sends Sid to his knees, Hall bounces back of the ropes with a big punch to the head of Sid, Sid still not on the floor as Hall again bounces back of the ropes but as he comes back Sid grabs him around the throat and he rises to his feet looking for the chokeslam but Hall kicks Sid between the legs, this time he does send him fully to the floor, Hall rolls to the outside looking for a weapon, he searches under the ring and pulls out a Kendo Stick, SPEAR, SPEAR, Goldberg just speared Hall out of his boots the camera shows Nash down by the ring steps, Goldberg rolls Hall back into the ring and Sid puts Hall between his legs lifts him into the air and Powerbomb, he goes down for the cover 1....2.....3 and Sid pins Hall, the Outsiders loose the match up.

Out first is the contender to the title Chris Benoit, Benoit steps in the ring and starts stretching against the ropes awaiting the arrival of the Heavyweight champion Bret Hart. Coming out to the music of the nWo is the current heavyweight champion Bret “The Hitman” Hart.

Hart and Benoit step into the middle of the ring and stare each other dead in the eye, the back away into their respective corners as the ref signals for the bell still keeping eyes locked onto each other, Benoit and Hart lock up with Hart getting the advantage and locks on a side headlock Hart squeezes the head of Benoit and drops the pressure, but immediately applies the pressure again, Benoit responds with a backdrop sending Hart to the ground, Hart quickly gets up and charges for Benoit, but Benoit uses an armdrag to pull Hart over and again Hart gets up and charges but is met with an armdrag, Hart gets up and is drop kicked by Benoit sending him to the outside of the ring, Hart just looks at Benoit as he calmly makes his way back into the ring and they again tie up, Bret once again gets the advantage and applies a side headlock, but Benoit manages to push Hart away and Hart bounces back of the ropes and Benoit clotheslines Hart to the ground, Benoit drops an elbow to the chest of Hart, and grabs the legs of Hart and wraps his leg around Harts and drops to the ground applying pressure the ref checks Hart to see if he is about to tap, but Hart reaches over to grab the ropes, Benoit gets hold of Hart and whips him of the ropes he goes to clothesline Hart as he comes back but Hart ducks and carries on running he bounces back of the ropes and he and Benoit collide with each other after they both attempted to clothesline each other, Benoit and Hart both slowly get to their feet and Benoit sends a chop to Hart’s chest Hart replies with a slap to the face of Benoit, Benoit looks at Hart enraged and unleashes a fury of Chops eventually backing Hart into the corner, Benoit starts kicking into Hart as Hart drops to the bottom rope and Benoit puts his boot across the throat of Hart with the ref breaking the choke after a three count. Benoit picks up Hart and launches him into the air with a snap suplex, and then Benoit lifts up Hart and drops him on the ropes with a front suplex, Hart is hanging over the ropes as Benoit goes to climb the top turnbuckle as Benoit reaches the top Hart pulls himself to his feet and bounces the top rope and Benoit loose’s his feet and drops groin first on the top turnbuckle, Hart walks over and climbs the ropes and puts Benoit’s arm around his neck and takes Benoit down with a massive Superplex. Hart goes for the legs of Benoit looking to lock on the sharpshooter but Benoit manages to wriggle out before Hart can apply it, as they get to their feet Benoit grabs the arm of Hart and looks to apply the Crossface but Hart drops to the ground and rolls out of the ring before Benoit can do anything.

Hart rolls back into the ring and Benoit goes to grab a hold of him but Hart ducks and punches Benoit in the stomach, Benoit swings for Hart but he side steps the swing and puts Benoit down with a nicely executed Russian leg sweep. Hart grabs the legs of Benoit and wraps them around the ringpost and Hart on the outside applies a version of the figure four leglock with Benoit in agony the ref counts to three and breaks the hold. Benoit rolls around the ring in agony as Hart makes his way over to the Crippler, Hart again looks to apply the Sharpshooter but Benoit kicks Hart backwards and he lands in the corner turnbuckle, Benoit goes over to Hart and lifts him onto the top turnbuckle Benoit climbs up and puts his arms around Harts body and he launches of the top turnbuckle with a belly to back suplex, Benoit signals with the cutthroat gesture he climbs the top turnbuckle and jumps of with a diving headbutt, Hart moves out of the way and Benoit goes head first into the canvas.

As they both regained their awareness they continued to fight with neither man getting any clear advantage, Benoit unleashed with some chops with Hart backed in the corner turnbuckle, Benoit managed to apply a leglock on Hart but Hart soon managed to squeeze out of the move and took advantage of the match, he kept Benoit grounded mostly in the corner working on the legs of Benoit.

Hart in the corner whips Benoit but Benoit reverses the whip and grabs onto Hart, he switches to around the back of Hart and unleashes a German Suplex on hart still holding onto Hart he lifts Hart again with another German suplex, and finishes of with a third German Suplex, Benoit goes to the top turnbuckle and launches of with a diving headbutt. Benoit grabs the legs of Hart and locks on the sharpshooter on Hart, Benoit has Hart in his own signature move, Hart is struggling to keep going he starts crawling over to the ropes but Benoit pulls him back to the Center of the ring, Hart looks like he will tap, but Hart lifts himself up like in a press up motion and manages to overturn Benoit sending him falling over to the middle of the ring. They both get up to their feet and Hart grabs Benoit’s arm and puts him in the Crossface, Hart returning the favour of using Benoit’s trademark move. Will Benoit tap, Benoit rolls over and reverses the move and he applies the Crossface onto Hart, Hart has his arm raised he’s going to tap surely, will he no, no Hart manages to break free, they both get to their feet Hart goes for Benoit but Benoit grabs the arm of Hart and agin applies the Crossface yes is this it will it be, Hart with his arm raised and he taps, Hart taps, Hart has taped.

Bret The Hitman Hart has just tapped out to The Canadian Crippler Chris Benoit, we have a new Heavyweight champion, the nWo member has taped out to Chris Benoit we have a new champion. Benoit has the belt handed to him as he drops to his knees and raises the title above his head to a loud eruption of cheers. Bret Hart gets to his feet with a disappointed look on his face he goes over to Benoit as they stare each other in the eyes and Hart extends his hand out to Benoit, Benoit looks at the hand of Hart and he slowly extends his hand and the two competors shake hands.

The Public image of WCW has risen since I took over, when I started we had an estimated image of around 20% and at the end of the month it is now estimated at 33%

The WWF have also improved in their public image they were estimated to be at 60% at the start of the month and are now estimated at 75%

A new promotion called Canadian Golden Combat started at National level 63% image.

Souled Out saw changes in titles and fueds ended we have some news concerning the events and effects Souled Out has and will have on the company and the workers.

Billy Kidman and Evan Karagias have both gotten over more with the fans since their fued and the WCW Cruiserweight title is said to have gained in image after their match at the PPV. Evan Karagias has been told he will be moved from the bottom ranks of WCW to work in the lower midcard scene.

The WCW Tag Team titles have gained in image after the Mamalukes won the straps at the PPV

Terry funk has seemed to gotten over more after his fued with Shane Douglas, Douglas doesn’t seem to have gained a lot out of the fued tho.

Both Diamond Dallas Page and Jeff Jarrett have gotten over majorly with the fans after their fued and Match at Souled Out, the United States title has also gained in image. WCW are so pleased at how well the fued went and how over they are that both Diamond Dallas Page and Jeff Jarrett have been told from now on they will work the main event scene.

Kevin Nash basically no sold everything during his Tag match against Goldberg and Sid and as a result the match suffered a lot and was no where as good as it could have been.

Bret Hart seemed to have lost a bit of heat with the crowd after losing to Chris Benoit at the PPV, and although Chris Benoit has been given the strap he has lost heat with the crowds. This is worrying for WCW. We are now looking at getting him over in a big way over the upcoming months. If he can’t get over with the fans as a champion then we at WCW will consider his title run and any changes that may need to be made.

Tony- Welcome to WCW Monday Night Nitro im Tony Schiavone and im joined by Bobby the brain Hennan, we are hot of the heels of Souled Out and what a night it was last night. The biggest news of the night has to be Chris Benoit defeating Bret Hart to capture the WCW heavyweight championship.

Bobby- I was wrong all along Tony, I stand up and admit it I was wrong, Chris Benoit did defeat the Hitman and the nWo didn’t make any appearance in the main event. And what a night, what a match, Bret Hart being put in the sharpshooter, then Benoit being put in the Crossface and then Benoit putting Hart in the Crossface and making him tap.

Tony- Also last night we saw new Tag Team champions as The Mamalukes defeated Crowbar and Flair and coming up soon they will battle it out again in a rematch for the WCW Tag team titles.

Celebration

Suddenly the music of the new Heavyweight champion Chris Benoit plays over the PA system to an standing ovation from the crowd, and standing at the entrance way is Chris Benoit holding the title over his shoulder patting it as his walks down to the ring. Benoit stands in the middle of the ring after being handed a microphone from the ring announcer. Benoit goes to speak with a massive smile on his face as he lifts the title in the air to loud cheers from the crowd.

Benoit- I did it, I Chris Benoit walked into Souled Out as the number one contender to Bret Harts title, and I walked out of Souled Out the new Heavyweight Champion of WCW. The odds were stacked against me, everywhere I went people would walk up to me and say Chris this is just a fantasy, a dream that will never come true, people would walk up to me and say Chris you are wrestling the best there is what chance do you have. People were saying Chris, Bret is the nWo what makes you think you have any chance of capturing the Heavyweight Championship. And to all those people who doubted me I say look at me now, look who is standing in the middle of the ring with the WCW heavyweight title, look who is the champion, look at me, I beat the best there is, the best their was, I made Bret Hart tap out to the Crippler Crossface, I made my dream, my fantasy come true and there is nothing anyone can do to take last night away from me. Suddenly over the PA system we hear a woooh and the thud following it signals the music of The Nature Boy Ric Flair.

Bret Hart may have thought he was the man, but Chris he wasn’t, I am, and Chris you have one thing I want and that is the belt thrown over your shoulder. So what do you say Chris, prove to me and prove to the world that you are the best, by steeping in the ring with me tonight and going one on one with The Nature Boy.

Benoit- Ric you want me tonight then you got me, but one thing I know you’re the dirtiest player in the game, and I know you will have some sort of plan, so tonight the title wont be on the line, but, but if you beat me fair and square then I will give you what you want, I will give you a title shot.

Benoit drops the mic to the floor and turns around to walk away, Flair picks the mic up and runs at Benoit hitting over the head knocking him to the ground, Flair drags Benoit to the Center of the ring and puts on the figure four leglock, Flair applying the pressure making sure Benoit is in agony, referees pour out from the back and begin to drag Flair of Benoit, Flair grabs the mic.

Mamalukes vs David Flair and Crowbar

Vito and Crowbar on the outside, Vito whips Crowbar into the guard railing and picks him up and drops him throat first on the railing, back in the ring Flair lands a low blow on The Bull, Flair whips him of the ropes but incoming is Vito, Vito powerslams Flair and The Bull climbs the turnbuckle and launches of landing a legdrop on Flair, The Bull goes for the cover 1....2....3 and the Mamalukes retain the Tag Team Titles. Wait who are those two coming out though the crowd, wait a minute that’s Bryan Adams and Bryan Clarke, Adams and Clarke get in the ring and take out Johnny the Bull and Vito Adams whips Vito of the ropes and nails a big boot, Clarke launches The Bull in the air for a chokeslam, Flair and Crowbar get to their feet and are met with two big boots sending them to the outside. Adams and Clarke have left everyone down and out.

Chavo whips Kidman of the ropes and as he comes back send him down with a drop toe hold, Chavo gets to his feet and drops an elbow to the back of Kidman, he grabs Kidman and kicks him to the stomach and follows with a DDT, goes down for the cover 1....2..and a kick out form Kidman. Chavo whips Kidman but he reverses it and Kidman lands a dropkick on the returning Chavo, Kidman climbs the turnbuckle and launches of with a cross body, Chavo rolls over and grabs the tights 1...2...and a late kick out from Kidman. Chavo whips Kidman into the turnbuckle and goes running after him but Kidman slides out of the way and Chavo goes bouncing back Kidman lands a Bulldog on Chavo, Chavo is down Kidman drags Chavo to the corner and climbs the turnbuckle, he launches himself in the air Shooting Star Press! 1....2....3.

The nWo are going to prove we are the big boys and we control this show, and up next will be a prime example of what to expect from the nWo.

Goldberg vs Rick Steiner.

Rick Steiner with a stiff left to Goldberg, Steiner kicking Goldberg into the corner and a headbutt, Steiner goes to whip Goldberg to the opposite corner but Goldberg reverses it and as Steiner bounces back out Goldberg runs in with a SPEAR, Goldberg Speared Steiner, Goldberg grabs Steiner and lifts him up for the Jackhammer. 1....2.....3 its all over Goldberg defeats Rick Steiner. Diamond Dallas Page vs Kevin Nash.

Nash takes down Page with a clothesline, Nash picks up Page and whips him of the ropes, Nash goes for the big boot, but Page ducks and as he comes back nails a clothesline on Nash sending him to the ground, Page climbs the turnbuckle and as Nash gets to his feet Page launches of with a flying clothesline but Nash pulls the referee in front of him, and Page takes the ref down, Scott Hall comes down the aisle and enters the ring he spins Page around and licks him in the gut, Nash follows in and they beat Page down, Hall picks up Page and sets him up for the Outsiders Edge. Nash pulls the ref to as he goes down for the cover 1...2....3 Nash pins DDP, Nash and Hall high five each other and they start beating down on Page. Hall and Nash kicking and punching Page backing him into the corner, Nash signals for the Jacknife but wait, someone comes running down the aisle and into the ring, it’s HOGAN, Hulk Hogan is in the ring he goes over to Hall who comes running at him and a big boot by Hogan, Nash comes in and gos for a punch but Hogan blocks it and nails Nash with a big right hand followed by a second, and a third, Hogan whips Nash of the ropes and as he comes back lands a big boot on him, Hogan has cleared the ring and saved DDP from a brutal beating.

Tony- The nWo is history to the Hulkster, they are in the past, Bobby 1996 was four years ago Hogan has moved on but he wants to take them down, make sure they are done for good.

Bobby- Well good luck to him, he will need it, it will take more that Hulk Hogan to take out the nWo.

Tony- Its time for the main event, the Heavyweight champion Chris Benoit going toe to toe with The Nature Boy Ric Flair.

Main Event

Chris Benoit vs Ric Flair. Non title

Ric Flair with a snap suplex on Benoit gets up and lets out a woooh followed by a Ric Flair strut. Benoit tho sees Flair with his back turned and goes for the roll up pin 1....2 and a kick out from the Nature Boy, Flair gets up and chops Benoit, but Benoit chops back and again with a chop backing Flair into the corner, Benoit with the Irish whip on Flair sends him crashing into the corner turnbuckle, Flair staggers back out and Benoit goes for the German Suplex, and lifts him up for another and for a third but the ref gets in the way and is taken down, Benoit signals for the Headbutt, he climbs he turnbuckle but Lex Luger comes running and pushes Benoit straight of the top, he jumps in the ring and puts Benoit into the Torture Rack, Luger drops Benoit to the ground and Flair applies the figure four leg lock, the ref comes around and gets into position, Benoit is absolute agony, he can’t go on Benoit lifts his hand and taps against the ring the ref calls for the bell. Flair has defeated Chris Benoit, Luger gets back in the ring as Flair fails to break the figure four, Luger stomps away at Benoit as he lays defenceless, Flair lets go of the hold, and Flair and Luger stand together as Flair lets out a great big wooooooh, to the loud boos of the crowd, the Heavyweight champion has been left down.

The camera cuts to the back where Flair and Luger are celebrating their beat down of the Champion Chris Benoit.

Flair- Lex ill meet you at the car, I have to fetch something out of my locker. Then we will party all night long.

Lex- You got it Ric, ill go get the car started up.

The camera follows Ric to the locker room as he enters to pick up his training bag, Flair exits the room and makes his way towards the car park. As Flair gets to the car park he sees a large crowd forming next to his parked car.

Flair- What’s going on get away from my car, where is Lex. Flair gets nearer and sees Lex lying on the floor, he is unconscious and has blood coming from his forehead.

Flair- What the hell happened, who did this, who saw what happened.

The paramedics come over to assist and ask what happened but no one seems to know what happened.

Flair paces around and spots something next to Lex’s head, he picks it up and it’s a STING mask.70%

3rd February

Tennay- Hello fans from around the world im Mike Tennay and im joined by the ever enthusiastic Bobby Hennan, and what a night Nitro was just 24 hours after Souled Out, we had Bryan Adams and Bryan Clarke returning to WCW attacking the Mamalukes and David Flair and Crowbar, then we had Flair and Benoit colliding and we had Lex Luger at the end of the show layed out in the parking lot in a pool of blood.

Bobby- It was Sting, Tennay im telling you Sting is back in WCW Nitro we saw a dark figure holding a baseball bat in the shadows stalking Luger, then at the end of the show Luger was layed out and Flair found a Sting mask next to his head. We know Sting wants Luger after what he did to him at Starrcade, and then the interview Sting did a few weeks back. Sting is sending a message to Luger he’s back.

Tennay- Well we know that up next is Luger and he apparently will call out Sting.

Bobby- Well that’s the rumour backstage, but will we see him or will Sting carry on with mind games.

Luger wants Sting

The music of Lex Luger plays over the PA system and he walks out with a microphone, as he walks down the ring he looks around the arena looking nervous.

Luger- Sting I know it was you that attacked me on Nitro, I know it was your cowardly attack that layed me out in the car park leaving me in my own blood. Sting im not scared of you, im not scared of the mind games you play. I’ve known you for to long to be scared of you, we were the best of friends Sting and there is no way im going to fear you.

Sting I want you go get your ass out here right now so me and you can sort this out.

The arena goes dark as the lights go out, we hear the rumbling sound of thunder and the music of Sting starts playing, Luger looks hard at the entrance way telling Sting to bring it on.

Sting shows no sign of entering as the music stops playing.

Luger- Sting come on me and you right now, im not scared of you Sting come Sting get your ass out here.

Again the music of Sting plays, and Luger looks at the entrance way awaiting the entrance of Sting.

All of a sudden the ring starts to split in the corner, and out comes the dark looking figure of the man called STING, the crowd erupts and Luger suddenly stands frozen in the ring, his back turned he starts to slowly turn around looking petrified, Sting wearing white face paint and draped in black looks straight into the eyes of Luger, Luger still looking petrified goes over to Sting and swings at him but Sting blocks the punch and nails Luger sending him to the ground in one punch. Sting grabs Luger by the head and DEATHDROP, the crowd still cheering the return of Sting and the lights go out and Sting makes his way up to the entrance, he turns around and points back to Luger. 78%

Tennay- Well what a start to Thunder, Sting returning and taking out Lex Luger. He is back, Nitro saw the return of Hogan, Thunder sees the return Sting. Well moving on, up next is the Filthy Animals Rey Misterio and Billy Kidman facing Three Count Shannon Moore and Evan Karagias

Match 1

Filthy Animals vs Three Count II.

Rey whips Moore to the corner, Moore falls to his butt and Rey incoming with a bronco buster, Moore staggers to his feet and Rey climbs the turnbuckle and launches himself at Moore with a Moonsault and goes down for the cover 1...2...and Evan Karagias comes in to break the pinfall, Kidman comes in and takes down Karagias with a dropkick sending him back into his corner and the ref signal’s them both back to the ring apron. Moore quickly tags in Karagias, and Kidman wants the tag in and Rey does so, Kidman and Karagias lock up, Kidman twist’s the arm of Karagias and whips him of the ropes and as he comes back launches him self at Karagias and a Hurricarana 1..2...and a kick out, Moore comes running in, and attacks Kidman but Rey follows suit and lands a running dropkick on Moore sending him flying to the outside, Rey runs of the ropes and back again and over the top rope straight onto Moore with a corkscrew body press, Kidman back with Karagias grabs him into a headlock and runs of the turnbuckle with a bulldog, Kidman goes up top for the Shooting Star Press the ref with the cover 1....2...3

The camera pans round and we see the Hardcore ledged Terry Funk.

Suddenly Funk is attacked and it’s Shane Douglas, Douglas slams Funk of the wall and spots a table he rolls Funk onto the table, he climbs the table and puts Funk through it with a devastating Piledriver, Douglas then picks up Funk and FRANCHISER. Douglas has taken out Terry Funk, paramedics soon arrive on the scene and carry Funk of into an ambulance. Shane Douglas walks away laughing he turns back and shouts out to Funk, “ How does it feel to have your ass Franchised old man”. 77%

Tennay- There was no need for that. Douglas and Funk fought in a gruelling contest at Souled Out and im not sure Funk has fully recovered, Douglas can take more than Funk and Douglas know’s it that’s why he attacked him.

Bobby- Funk took a beating at Souled Out as did Douglas, but there was no need for that attack, Funk beat him fair at Souled Out and Douglas is just jealous.

Tennay- Well from one hardcore encounter to another The Wall will face Tank Abbott for the hardcore title.

Match 2

The Wall vs Tank Abbott. Hardcore match hardcore title

Abbott with a trash can slams it over the head of The Wall, but Wall still standing takes another shot and he still stands tall, Abbot drops the trash can and goes for the One Punch but Wall grabs the hand of Abbott and tightly squeezes sending pain straight to Abbott, Tank falls to the ground and The Wall goes to the outside where he brings out a table from underneath the ring, he slides the table in the ring and sets it up, Tank comes charging in with the trash can but The Wall sends a Big Boot to the Trash Can levelling Abbott out, The Wall lifts up Tank and a Chokeslam straight through the table, he goes down for the cover 1...2....3. Well The Wall decimating Abbott getting the three count and becoming the new Hardcore champion.

Beatdown

The camera stays with the Mamalukes and we see Kronik come out and attack them, Adams and Clarke beat the Mamalukes down and find two tables placed next to each other. Kronik then proceed to slam Vito and the Bull through the tables leaving them in need of medical attention 61%

Tennay-Well the newly formed team of Kronik as they call themselfs, making once again a lasting impression on the tag champs the Mamalukes putting them through the tables out back. The Mamalukes became champions on Sunday but how long will they stay champions with Kronik beating them down like that. Well up next is the heavyweight champion Benoit and he will be reacting to Flairs comments earlier.

Number one contender

The music of the heavyweight champion plays over the PA and we see Chris Benoit walk down to the ring with the Heavyweight title strapped around his waist.

Benoit- Flair the stipulation was you beat me fair and square then you get a title shot, last Monday on Nitro you beat me after Luger put me in the torture rack, you beat me like a damn coward. Straight away we see Sid stand at the entrance way with a microphone.

Sid starts making his way towards the ring as Benoit and Nash look ready to fight.

Hall with some fast paced punches to Page backed up in the corner , but Page grabs Hall and picks him up and slams him straight into the corner, Page with a left then a right and then his tornado clothesline, Page goes down 1...2...and a kick out. Hall lands a low blow on Page and a powerslam from Scott Hall, Hall whips Page of the ropes and goes for a clothesline but Page ducks stops in his tracks and Diamond Cutter on Hall, Page goes down 1....2....and no wait a minute Kevin Nash just pulled the ref out of the ring and Nash knocks the ref down. Nash gets in the ring and a big boot to the head of Page, Nash with a Jacknife Powerbomb and Hall gets to his feet and sets up Page for the Outsider's Edge they have completely taken out Page, a ref comes running out from the back and makes the count 1....2....3. What a way to loose, but Hall and Nash haven’t finished Nash holds Page as Hall lays into him with left’s and right’s, and Nash sets up Page for another Jacknife, but wait here comes Hulk Hogan, Hogan slides in the ring and lands a punch on Hall sending him to the ground and a punch on Nash also sends him to the ground. Hogan sends Hall and Nash retreating back up to the entrance way, The Outsiders had the upper hand until Hogan made the save for Page.

Goldberg signals for the Jackhammer but running down the aisle is Jeff Jarrett with his guitar, Steiner holds onto the ref in agony as Jarrett enters the ring and slams the guitar of the head of Goldberg, Jarrett leaves the ring Steiner goes over for the cover the ref looks puzzled but he has to make the count, 1...2....3 Scott Steiner has defeated Goldberg at the hands of Jarrett, Jarrett climbs back in the ring and sets up Goldberg for the STROKE, Jarrett has completely whipped out Goldberg, Jarrett goes out and grabs a chair, and comes back in and slams the chair straight across the back of Goldberg. Jarrett and again he sets up Goldberg for a second STROKE. Jarrett has left Goldberg in a state of daze and confusion, the nWo have again left their mark on WCW.

A very physical match between The Beast From The East and half member of the Mamalukes, Vito looked like he would have gotten the win had it not been for Bigelow grabbing a chair and levelling out Vito. The ref called for the bell and awarded the match to Vito for a DQ.

Morrus and The Wall beat the hell out of each other with whatever they could get their hands on, the match did on one occasion end up on the outside with The Wall bouncing Morrus of the railings, steps and the ring, this gave The Wall the advantage in the match as it neared the end. The Wall grabbed a table and set it up in the ring, they continued brawling for a while with trash can lids and kendo sticks. The Wall finished of Morrus in the same way he did to Abbott when he won the title, with a chokeslam through the table.

Tony- Hello folks and welcome to WCW Monday Nitro im Tony Schiavone joined as ever by Bobby Hennan, and what a night we have in store for you, tonight the main event a triple threat match between Ric Flair, Kevin Nash, and Sid the winner goes on to face Chris Benoit at Superbrawl for the heavyweight title.

Bobby- Oh Tony what a match that will be, and I reckon Benoit has a favourite for the match, Benoit will be cheering on Flair, after last week on Thunder you can say that Benoit would want to face Flair the most out of the three.

Tony-Brain I think im safe to say your right, it’s not often your right but on this occasion I will give you the benefit of the doubt, also in action tonight will be Booker T and Dean Malenko going one on one, The Mamalukes and XS will square off. But first it will be the newly crowned hardcore champion The Wall defending his belt against Bam Bam Bigelow.

Match 1

The Wall vs Bigelow

Hardcore Title

Bigelow whips the Wall of the ropes and Spinebuster on The Wall as he comes back, Bigelow goes to the outside and finds out a table, he brings it to the inside and sets it up, but The Wall with an axe handle smash on Bigelow knocks him to the ground, The Wall finds out a chair and slams it of the back of Bigelow, the Wall lays the chair on the floor and nails Bigelow with a DDT, goes down for the cover 1..2..and a kick out, The Wall throws Bigelow into the corner and lays into him with punches to the stomach, The Wall puts his hand around the throat of Bigelow, walks him over to the table and Choke Slam 1....2....3. The Wall retains his Hardcore title with a chokeslam through the table. The Wall grabs his hardcore title and lifts it in the air celebrating, but Bigelow gets to his feet looking as if he shook of the effects of going through the table, Bigelow grabs the hardcore title and nails The Wall with it, Bigelow drops the belt to the floor and picks up The Wall and hits the Greetings From AsburyPark straight onto the title.

Tony- Well The Wall picking up an impressive victory over Bigelow to retain the title, but he still came of worse for wear as Bigelow attacking him after the match had ended and levelling him out with his move Greetings from Ashbury Park.

Bobby- It sure was an impressive win, but it came at a price, but Tony these men know what they are in for especially when they go at it Hardcore wrestling, What Bigelow done was wrong but hey The Wall would probably have done the same, all’s fair in love and war tony.

The camera cuts to the back and we see a figure approaching the arena, the man is draped in black and is walking with a purpose, as the figure gets nearer we can see the figure is STING. Sting carries on walking without saying a word, he enters some rooms but comes straight back out before walking off out of view of the camera.. 83%

Bobby- He is here Tony, Sting is in the arena and he is looking for someone and you can bet it will be Luger. Luger had better watch his back because Sting is here, and you can bet if he gets his hands on Luger he will make him feel all that pain and anger that Sting has built up inside of him.

Tony- Well rather Luger than me I can tell you that, waiting backstage is Booker T wanting to say a few words.

Booker interview-respect

Booker T- You know I’ve been in this business for a long time, I’ve seen it all, nearly done it all, I’ve won title ‘s, broke records as Harlem Heat, and all through my years as a wrestler I’ve always had one thing, and that one thing is Respect, every opponent I’ve beat, every opponent that has beat me, every tag team me and my brother have faced , every person I have won title’s of, I’ve always had respect for them. And the one thing I have noticed over the past few weeks is this, Shane Douglas, that Sucka got respect for know one but himself. Terry Funk kicked his ass all over that arena at Souled Out and him pinned him in the middle of the ring one, two, three, all fair, he just beat his ass. Then last week on Thunder Douglas attacks Funk puts him through a table and sends him of in a ambulance. To me that shows nothing about respect, Douglas when the Funkster returns you can bet your ass he will kick your ass again, and again. When he returns I hope he beats the Respect out of you, and tonight I go up against one of your goons Dean Malenko, ill show Malenko and the rest of the Revolution what Respect is all about.76%

Tag team brawling

As Booker finishes his interview we can hear commotion and noises coming from around the corner, the camera goes round to investigate, and we see The Mamalukes beating down on Kronik, Vito and The Bull, laying into Adams and Clarke with kicks and stomps, Vito has a baseball bat and swings it straight into the stomach of Adams, as Johnny the Bull swings a chair of the head of Clarke, The Mamalukes have beaten down Kronik.

Vito- You aint so tough know, you mess with the Mamalukes and we mess you up Mamalukes style. 59%

Tony-Well Booker T sending a message to Shane Douglas, and The Mamalukes sending a message of their own to Kronik.

Bobby- The Mamalukes are tough and all, but I got a feeling attacking Kronik like that was a big mistake.

Tony- The Mamalukes obviously not in a mood to be messed with can’t be good news for their next opponents XS.

Match 2

Mamalukes vs XS

Vito with a fast paced beating to Lane just laying into him like there is no tomorrow, Vito whips Lane and follows up with a splash in the corner, Lane gets to his feet and is sent back down with a mean looking right hand. Idol comes into the ring but is cut of by Johnny the Bull, The Bull Bodyslams Idol down and climbs the top turnbuckle and comes of with a legdrop straight across the throat of Idol. Wait Adams and Clarke come running down the aisle, Kronik have entered the ring, The Mamalukes turn and spot them and immediately go after them. The Mamalukes send lefts and rights at Kronik but, Kronik bounce back with knee strikes and left and rights of their own, XS join in the brawl and start on The Mamalukes, but Kronik attack XS all three teams are brawling with each other, this is mayhem, the referees come pouring out of the back and enter the ring to split the three teams up, Adams slips out of the ring unnoticed and grabs a chair, he comes back in and manages to land a wild shot on Vito before the referees jump on Adams and pin him down and grab the chair of him. XS suddenly run at The Mamalukes sending them to the outside and into the aisle way, The Mamalukes fight back and manage to beat XS down with some whips to the guard railings and stiff punches. Kronik come running out of the ring after finally evading the referees and straight onto The Mamalukes. More officials come out of the back and finally manage to split all three teams up. The teams are escorted of in different directions as so they don’t start brawling again.

Tony- Well all three teams getting a piece of each other, I thought Kronik would still be layed out in the back, but instead they come down to the ring and attack The Mamalukes and XS.

Bobby- I told you it was a bad idea on the Mamalukes part, all they did was infuriate Kronik and they got their ass’s kicked in return, what a wild brawl it was, we should see more of those Tony.

Tony- Well backstage is Hulk Hogan and Diamond Dallas Page waiting to say a few words.

Hogan Page warn nWo

Hogan- You know brother for two weeks in a row The Outsiders have attacked Page and for two weeks in a row I have saved his ass, and you know brother it will end, the Outsider can attack Page as much as they want but I will always be there to watch over him and brother I will kick the nWo’s ass. If it is the last thing I do in WCW.

DDP- Good Gawd the nWo and the Outsiders with all these sneak attacks and interfering in my matches, well you know what Hogan is right it will stop and ill make damn sure of that, someone will feel The BANG. 84%

Sting gets Luger

There are shouts coming not far away from the interviewing spot, the camera man spots WCW officials running around and decides to follow them. It’s Sting, Sting has Luger pinned down on the floor beating the hell out of him, Sting has his black baseball bat and strikes it of the knee of Luger sending him rolling around the floor in agony. The officials scream at Sting to stop, Sting holding the bat in hand, draped in black wearing his long trench coat looks at Luger and the officials with a cold hard stare. Sting just casually walks by them and the officials get down and tend to Luger. 70%

Bobby- I knew he would get his hands on Luger, well one thing for sure is that Luger won’t be helping Flair in the main event later on tonight.

Tony- Well like I said earlier rather Luger than me, and you can’t say it hasn’t been coming, Starrcade Luger broke the hand of Sting after Liz turned on Sting and hit him with a baseball bat, and then Luger and Liz mocked him, Sting comes back and he wants revenge.

Bobby- Im not justifying Lugers actions here, but even he didn’t attack Sting backstage and take out his Knee caps, Sting he could cope with a broken hand, but if Sting has broken Luger’s knees how will he cope.

Tony- Well I still think Luger had it coming, but up next is Booker T and Malenko.

Match 3

Booker T vs Dean Malenko

Malenko uses an arm drag to bring booker down, Malenko holding onto Bookers arm brings him to his feet and sets him up with a Russian leg sweep, goes down for the cover 1...2 and a kick out from Booker. Malenko grabs Booker and whips him of the ropes he comes back and Malenko goes for a clothesline but misses and Booker lands a flying forearm on Malenko. Booker signals for a spinaroonie but coming down the aisle and into the ring is Shane Douglas, Booker hasn’t noticed him and Douglas spins Booker around and straight into the FRANCHISER. Douglas picks up Booker and again with another Franchiser. Shane Douglas has whipped out Booker T for no reason, Booker was helpless and Douglas took advantage of the situation.

Tony- Douglas totally laying out Booker T, that was uncalled for, Booker speaks up for Funk, and he gets taken out with two Franchisers.

Bobby- Maybe it has something to do with respect

nWo strike

The camera cuts to the back and we see Hulk Hogan talking on his cell phone, Suddenly the nWo come out of nowhere and surround Hogan, all bar Jarrett who is nowhere to be seen.

Nash- Well, look what we have here boys the great Hulk Hogan, the immortal Hulk Hogan, well Hulkster lets see how immortal you really are.

Nash strikes first with a kick to the gut, Hall and Steiner stomp on Hogan as they beat him to the ground, Steiner picks up Hogan and pushes him to Nash who Jacknife’s him on the concrete, Bret Hart follows up with the Sharpshooter leaving Hogan lying on the floor looking like he is unconscious. The nWo members walk away looking happy with themselfs. 83%

Tony- That damn nWo, they take out Hogan in an act of cowardliness four on one Hogan had no chance.

Bobby- And Tony where was Page, Hogan gets Pages’s back but Page don’t got Hogan’s back, what’s that all about.

Tony- Come on how was Page to know Hogan was being attacked, if Page was there then he would have jumped in just like Hogan did for him. Well apparently Goldberg has a few words regarding Jeff Jarrett.

Goldberg interview

Before Goldberg can say anything the nWo member Jeff Jarrett jumps Goldberg from behind and attacks him sending him to the ground, Goldberg and Jarrett brawl for a bit, but Jarrett gives a low blow to Goldberg and grabs his guitar and brings it crashing down over the head of Goldberg.

Jarrett- Goldberg why don’t you choke on that slap ass. 90%

Tony- The nWo strike again, first on Hogan then on Goldberg, and we now why Jarrett wasn’t with the nWo with the attacking on Hogan because he was busy plotting his attack on Goldberg.

When will it end.

Bobby- When they want it to end, their the nWo they do what they want when they want.

Tony- Well it’s about time something was done about it, but right now coming up is the main event, the winner of the triple threat match goes on to Superbrawl to face Chris Benoit the world heavyweight champion.

Main Event

Ric Flair vs Kevin Nash vs Sid.

Nash picks up Flair with a sidewalk slam 1...2. but Sid breaks the pinfall, Sid punches away at Nash and whips him of the ropes and incoming with a big boot to the face of Nash, Sid goes down for the cover 1....2.. And Flair breaks up the pinfall, Flair chops Sid and kicks his kneecap sending Sid’s one knee to the floor, Flair kicks the other kneecap and sends Sid second knee to the floor, Nash spins Flair around and goes for the big boot, but Flair moves and Sid gets nailed with a nasty looking boot to the face that completely sends his body to the floor. Nash signal for the Jacknife and positions Sid but Flair pushes Sid away and low blows Nash, Flair tries to set Nash up for a suplex but Nash uses his height to keep himself grounded and manages to reveres the suplex sending Flair to the floor, Nash signals for the Jacknife on Flair and sets him up but Sid comes colliding in and nearly taking of the head of Nash with a clothesline. Flair is down, Nash is down Sid is standing. Sid grabs Nash by the throat after picking him up and a chokeslam, Sid goes for the cover 1.....2....and Flair jumps on Sid breaking the pinfall, Sid and Flair start brawling with punches and chops and Nash goes to the outside and grabs a chair, Flair low blows Sid and goes over distracting the ref, Nash brings Sid to the outside of the ring and slams down the chair over the head his head and lays him out cold, it looks as if Flair and Nash were working together on that. Nash gets in the ring and goes over to Flair he swings the chair but Flair ducks and grabs the legs of Nash pulling him to the ground and locks him in the figure four leglock, Nash is in pain and Sid is out cold on the outside, Flair is putting on the pressure Nash drops his head to the floor as if he has given up and taps away at the ground. Kevin Nash has tapped out to the figure four leglock, Flair has won the triple threat match and is the new number one contender.

Flair grabs the mic panting and puffing out of breathe.

Flair- Benoit be prepared, be prepared to be beaten by the best.

Tennay- Welcome fans to WCW Thunder, what a night it was on Nitro as we saw The Nature Boy Ric Flair win a triple threat match to secure his place in the main event at Superbrawl. He and Chris Benoit will battle it out for the heavyweight championship.

Bobby- And Tennay I bet Benoit doesn’t want it any other way. After Ric Flair interrupting him the Nitro after the PPV and then beating down on him on the same night after he got a pinfall over Benoit.

Tennay- But we all remember the pinfall was all aided at the hands of Lex Luger, and what about Lex Luger and Sting, we saw on Nitro Luger getting attacked by Sting taking his knee out with that baseball bat shot, Luger wasn’t injured to much as he will be competing tonight against Sid, but the question you have to ask your self is what will Sting do, will he make an appearance or has he washed his hands of Luger after getting revenge on Luger on Nitro.

Bobby- Tennay what Sting did was not revenge, what Sting did was show Luger he means business.

The Music of the Crippler Chris Benoit plays over the arena and we see him standing at the entrance way with the heavyweight title strapped around his waist. Benoit makes his way into the ring and is handed a microphone.

Flair rolls Benoit over onto his stomach and begins to unstrap the title from Benoit’s waist, Flair looks at the belt and holds it into the air again being received by boo’s from the crowd, Flair straps the title around his waist, and starts strutting, he grabs a microphone form the announce at ringside.

Flair- Benoit it looks the Crippler has become the crippled, woooh Chris Benoit Superbrawl you and me pal and I will walk into Superbrawl with the title around my waist and I will walk out of Superbrawl with the title around my waist.

Flair drops the mic and makes his way to the top of the entrance ramp with Chris Benoit’s title strapped around his waist, Flair has stolen Benoit’s title. 83%

Kronik vs XS.

Sid sends Luger of the ropes and as he comes back lands a big boot straight on his face, Luger is down and Sid signals for the powerbomb, Luger manages to get away from Sid and tries to clothesline him but it has no effect on Sid, Luger tries again but Sid moves and the ref is hit instead. Sid starts beating away on Luger but suddenly stops as he looks straight at the entrance way, he’s looking straight at STING. Sting enters the ring and looks straight at Sid, Sid leaves the ring and Sting looks straight down at Luger, Luger looks up at Sting and tries to crawl away, but Sting grabs Luger by the leg and picks him up to his feet, and Sting hammers away at Luger battering him into the corner, Sting whips Luger to the opposite corner and follows with a Stinger Splash. Evan Karagias vs Psicosis.

Nice fast paced match up, Psicosis came close to getting a three count but Karagias had his feet placed on the ropes at the time, they hit each other with some high flying moves, Karagias ended up on the outside and Psicosis came following him with a daredevil type dive over the top rope and straight onto Karagias. Karagias got the advantage back later on in the match and managed to pin Psicosis with a Victory Roll for the 1....2...3.

Buff Bagwell vs Rick Steiner.

Bagwell took it to Steiner really hard not letting Steiner get any advantage in the match up, Bagwell hit him with a few power moves including a shoulder breaker and a powerbomb Bagwell got the two count after the Powerbomb. The match ended when Steiner tried to get in a chair shot but the ref pulled the chair away and Bagwell climbed the top turnbuckle and landed the Buff Blockbuster on the unsuspecting Steiner. He covered him for the three count.

The camera pans to the front of the building as we see a black stretched limo pull up, from out of the back appears Ric Flair, he has Chris Benoit’s heavyweight title draped over his right shoulder, Flair steps out of the limo with a big grin on his face. He steps away from the door and his partner Lex Luger steps out.

Luger- Come on champ, we’ve got a Canadian Crippler to deal with. Luger pats the title and Flair and Luger walk into the building looking all smiles. 90%

Tony- Hello fans and welcome to another addition of Monday Night Nitro, coming hot of the heels of Thunder when we saw Diamond Dallas Page hit Hulk Hogan his then tag team partner with a Diamond Cutter. Page and Hogan had teamed up with each other to take on The Outsiders , Nash nailed Hogan with a chair causing the Outsiders to loose the match up via DQ, Hogan and Page managed to fight of The Outsiders then Page nailed Hogan with a diamond cutter shocking us all, and just for good measure he nailed him with a second Diamond Cutter but the big question on all are minds WHY.

Bobby- Why indeed Tony, tonight we will find out Page has stated on numerous occasions since Thunder he will address Hogan tonight on Nitro. And also as we saw moments ago The Nature Boy has the title the Nature boy is the champ.

Tony- Champ only in his mind, he sneak attacked Benoit and stole his title now he parades around like it is his own.

Match 1

Diamond Dallas Page vs Eddie Guerrero.

Page sends Eddie crashing to the floor, stomping away at him furiously the ref intervenes as Page looks like he will never stop. Page picks up Eddie and whips him of the ropes and as he comes back sends Eddie down with a tilt a whirl back breaker, Page sends his knee into the back of Eddie and begins to choke him out as he stands on his throat using the ropes as extra pressure.

Hulk Hogan comes sliding into the ring and begins punching away at Page the ref calls for the bell as Page and Hogan beat the hell out of each other, Hogan whips Page of the ropes and lands a big boot on the face of Page, Page quickly rolls out of the ring and up the aisle way but Hogan goes after him he turns Page around and again begins punching him, Page gets the upper hand as he gives a kick to the groin of Hogan. Page and Hogan end up backstage brawling widely with each other.

Tony- Page looked like he meant business, he ripped into Guerrero as if he was a rag doll, and then Hogan making his way into the ring and he and Page ended up brawling to the backstage area and I have been told the cameras are still following Hogan and Page backstage.

Page assualt

Hogan gets kicked back by Page and sends him down with a clothesline, Page picks up a pipe from of the ground and slams it down over the head of Hogan, Hogan goes crashing down to the ground, Page looks pleased with him self as he picks up Hogan and sets him up for the Diamond Cutter. Page has layed out Hogan, Hogan is lying motionless on the ground Page walks off with a big grin stretched across his face. 83%

Tony- Well we all know Page’s attentions towards Hogan, that attack was a vicious one and Page has made sure Hogan will be layed out after hitting him with a Diamond Cutter, Page has said he will stop Hulkamania and maybe that might happen.

Bobby- Well Schiavone it is about time Hogan realised he is a waste of space and Page is the man to do the job.

Benoit wants Flair

The music of the Heavyweight champion Chris Benoit hits over the PA and out from the back comes Chris Benoit. The Crippler steps in the ring and is handed a mic from the ring announcer.

Benoit- Well the Nature Boy out smarted me well so he says, the fact of the matter is Flair that you are a sneaky coward and you have something that belongs to me, Flair I propose this to you, tonight you me one on one forget Superbrawl lets do this now. The fans let out a cheer showing their excitement at the prospect of Benoit and Flair going at it tonight.

The Nature boy shows up on the titontron smiling with the heavyweight championship draped over his shoulder.

Flair- Woooooooooooh, man does it feel good to be the champion, Benoit you want me pal tonight, you want to step in the ring with the dirtiest player in the game, the Nature Boy Ric Flair, you want a title shot against The Nature Boy, well Benoit what makes you think you are the number one contender to my title. Woooooooooooh Benoit if you want this title then why don’t you come back here and show me you deserve a title shot.

The titontron goes black and Benoit quickly drops the mic and makes his way out of the ring storming up towards the back. 85%

Booker T vs Perry Saturn

Booker whips Saturn of the ropes and lands a Spinebuster on him, Booker picks up Saturn and with a kick to the mid section of Saturn and follows up with a scissors kick, but Douglas comes running out form the back and into the ring he sets up Booker for the FRANCHISER, Douglas taunts the crowd and goes to the outside and picks up a chair, Douglas drives the chair down across the back of Booker T. Douglas demands a mic and is given one.

Douglas- Booker I said stick your nose in my business and I will make sure you pay. But im not satisfied, so how about at Superbrawl I again kick your ass and show you what it feels like to have your ass Franshised.

The cameras cut to the back and they are following Chris Benoit, but suddenly Flair and Luger appear out of know where and send Benoit down to the ground, Flair and Luger stomp away on Benoit, Luger picks up Benoit and holds him as Flair smashes the title into the head of Benoit.

Flair lets out a wooooooooh and he and Luger casually walk away with the title. Flair looks back and laughs at Benoit. 83%

Meane Gene runs over to Flair and Luger but before he can speak Luger grabs the mic.

Jeff Jarrett comes along and grabs the mic of Meane gene as Flair and Luger walk away.

Jarrett- Give me that you Jurassic Slap ass, Goldberg, me and the nWo have been talking and have decided after your little tantrum on Thunder when you speared me into that shutter that it is time we sent you packing from WCW, I set out to send a message to you and the rest of WCW and I will make sure that message is delivered loud and clear, so listen up Slapass this is how it will go down, at Superbrawl Goldberg you and me one on one in a last man standing match, so why don’t you choke on that Slapass. 87%

Tony- Well Superbrawl looks like it will have two matches added, Luger wants Sting and Jarrett wants Goldberg and im pretty sure neither of those men will turn down the challenge’s from Luger and Jarrett.

Bobby- Tony I have to say Jarrett is a man of many talents, he is a great wrestler but does he know what he is getting himself in for, I mean having a match with Goldberg is one thing but making it a Last Man standing Match, I think Jarrett maybe getting into something he will find hard to get out of even with the nWo watching his back.

Tony- Well that is something i have to agree with, and coming up next is the Stinger going up against Scott Hall of the nWo.

Scott Hall vs Sting.

Sting powerslams Hall to the ground, and gives him a kick to the stomach, Sting picks up Hall and whips him into the turnbuckle he then goes over to him and stomps him down, Sting picks him up and whips him into the opposite turnbuckle Sting stays where he is looks straight at Hall and runs at him and lands a stinger splash , Sting walks back and again charges at Hall with a Stinger Splash. Hall falls to the ground and Sting locks the scorpion Deathlock on Hall, Hall taps out straight away Sting doesn’t let go and he keeps a hold of Hall’s legs sending him in pain, the ref’s come in and try top get Sting to break the hold, Sting does and rolls to the outside of the ring but he doesn’t leave ringside he goes over to his coat and searches out his baseball bat, he rolls back into the ring and the refs quickly exit the ring, Sting looks over Hall and drives the baseball bat into his gut, Sting then slams the bat over the knee of Scott Hall, Sting picks up Hall and props him in the corner turnbuckle, Sting slams the bat into the face of Hall. Hall collapses onto the floor and blood begins to pour out from his face, Sting points the bat towards the entrance ramp as if sending out a sign of things to come for Luger.

Goldberg picks up Steiner and drops him throat first on the ropes and follows up with a clothesline, Goldberg whips Steiner into the turnbuckle and follows up with a SPEAR, Goldberg signals for the Jackhammer but out comes Jarrett and into the ring with a guitar, Jarrett slams his guitar over the head of Goldberg Steiner walks over to Goldberg and slaps him in the Steiner Recliner, Jarrett signals for Steiner to bring Goldberg to the outside, where he does and Jarrett with The STROKE on Goldberg, Jarrett has taken out Goldberg but he hasn’t finished, and Jarrett picks up Goldberg and slams him through the announcers desk.

Bobby- And Tennay you have to wonder, will Goldberg be here tonight, on Nitro we saw Jarrett means business with his challenge for a last man standing match at Superbrawl, Nitro he layed out Goldberg and eventually put him through the announcers desk that I was sitting at, completely layed him out.

Tennay- Well one thing is for sure another man that means business STING, on Nitro we saw him rip Scott Hall apart seemingly sending out a message to Lex Luger, and what a message it was, Luger don’t take me lightly is what Sting will be saying.

Bobby- And about time this was done, Diamond Dallas Page putting Hulk Hogan in his place, Hogan for years has run around thinking he is bigger than everyone else and then bam along comes Page.

Tennay- One thing we have noticed over the past few weeks and that is The Wall, he has become a menace to any one he steps in the ring with, he certainly is a hardcore champion to be reckoned with. Backstage with Meane Gene is the heavyweight champion Chris Benoit.

Interview with Benoit

Meane Gene- Now Chris for a couple of weeks now we have seen Ric Flair running around with your heavyweight championship and at every corner some might say outsmarting you some might say acting like a coward towards you, what are your thoughts on this.

Benoit- You know Meane Gene there are a lot of people in this business I look up too, the greats of the ring, the masters of the mat, and one of those men used to be Ric Flair, I used to respect Ric Flair hell I even used to walk down to the ring with him as part of the Horsemen. Flair would have been the one I looked up to the most since my days as a Horsemen, but then I win the title at Souled Out from Bret Hart, and the next night on Nitro I lost all respect I had for Flair when he came out and attacked me, he ruined what should have been one of the greatest moments in my life as I stood in the ring and celebrated my first heavyweight title championship. Mamalukes vs XS. Tag Team Championship

Idol on the outside after being slammed into the steps by Vito, The bull is in the ring with Lane, The Bull whips Lane of the ropes and as he comes back sends him crashing down with a dropkick, Vito climbs the turnbuckle and launches of with a elbow drop, the ref is attending to Idol on the outside. Vito then picks up Lane and Powerslams him, The Bull climbs the turnbuckle and jumps of and Lane ends up receiving a legdrop, Vito alerts the ref as The Bull goes for the cover 1....2.....3 The Mamalukes have retained the tag titles, The music of Kronik starts playing and we see Adams and Clarke make their way into the ring, Vito runs at Adams, The Bull runs at Clarke but they are both sent crashing down with big boot’s to the face. Kronik pick up Vito and nail the High Times on him, they then pick up Johnny the Bull high into the air and finish him of with High Times.

Bobby- I knew it was a bad ideas for Jarrett to get involved with Goldberg, and come Superbrawl this will be nothing compared to what Goldberg might do to him.

Tennay- Well up next is Chris Benoit and Lex Luger, will Flair get involved.

Bobby- Will STING get involved.

Main Event

Chris Benoit vs Lex Luger.

Benoit goes to the back of Luger and launches him in the air with a German suplex, Benoit still with his arms wrapped around Luger waist launches him over his shoulder for another German Suplex, and Benoit goes for a third Suplex. Benoit signals for the end, he climbs to the top rope and launches himself of and lands a devastating headbutt to Luger, Flair comes running down and distracts the ref he is yelling at the ref and manages to toss a pair of brass knuckles to Luger as Benoit tries to get his hands on Flair, Flair drops from the apron Benoit turns around and Luger nails him with the Brass Knuckles. Luger goes down for the cover 1....2......3 its all over Ric Flair has aided Lex Luger in his victory over the heavyweight champion. Flair climbs into the ring and starts strutting around the fallen body of Chris Benoit, Flair and Luger suddenly start stomping away at Benoit Luger picks up Benoit and Flair starts chopping away at him and sending a couple of blows to his face. But wait it’s STING, Sting is walking down to the ring Flair and Luger have not spotted him, Sting climbs into the ring and nails Flair sending him to the ground and Luger runs away and out of the ring, Luger looks petrified as Flair quickly crawls out of the ring, Sting raises his arm and points towards Luger with a cold hard stare. Sting has saved Benoit form a beating form Flair and Luger.

With Chris Benoit losing this match up it has seemingly hurt his position as heavyweight champion and dented his popularity with the fans

After the great performance put on by Sid and Jarrett and the showing up of Goldberg the fans were really hyped and felt let down that the main event didn’t offer the same sort of excitement.

Tennay- Well Flair attacking Benoit aiding Lex Luger in getting the victory, and then a two on one beat down brining out Sting to make the save for Benoit. Folks it has been a wild night but we have to go, tune into the last Nitro before Superbrawl this coming Monday Night.

Timeslot Change

WCW are said to be looking in to taking their Saturday Night program onto a prime time slot, TBS are said to very pleased with the Tv ratings that Thunder has been achieving and TBS are said to be interested in moving Saturday Night into a prime time slot in hope it will bring in the same ratings that Thunder has achieved. WCW and TBS are said to have been in talks over the past few weeks and are close to signing a deal for the new TV timeslot.

WCW disappointed in Chris Benoit’s title run

WCW are rumoured to be very disappointed in Chris Benoit’s failure to get over with the fans as WCW champion.

Ever since his title victory over Bret Hart at Souled Out his popularity has only decreased even tho he is involved in a fued with the legendary Ric Flair.

It could be a case of bad booking on the part of WCW, or could be that the fans are just not ready to accept Chris Benoit as a champion, rumours coming from the WCW headquarters is to have the Flair and Benoit fued come to an end shortly but leaving the fued open in hopes they can once again make Benoit as popular as he was before he became champion and then go on to reunite his fued with Ric Flair in a few months time.

Top Stars losing Heat

Along with the decreasing popularity of Chris Benoit and increasing popularity of new top stars such as Jeff Jarrett and Diamond Dallas Page, many other talents are also losing their heat with the crowd and WCW are suggesting on giving a major push to some of the once seemingly invincible names. Such talent include nWo members Kevin Nash and Scott Hall, Sting who has lost a little heat since he came back and started feuding with Lex Luger. Scott Steiner who since joining the nWo has not been involved in much on WCW television, and Sid.

The hopes are that the names can become as popular as they were in their heyday and help to put over the upcoming talent

The Wall dominated Crowbar through the match up and would have almost certainly got the pin fall had it not been for the Tag team partner of Crowbar David Flair interfering in the match and attacking The Wall, the ref called for the bell but Flair and Crowbar carried on attacking The Wall and for the first time in the past few weeks managing to keep him grounded.

Steiner really took it to The Demon in a very surprising one sided encounter, Steiner battered The Demon and showed everyone what he is made of. After brutally taking out The Demon he set him up for the Steiner Bulldog and got the three count on The Demon. Steiner got up after the match and started doing his trademark barking to the crowd, after he eventually got them to bark with him, he insulted the crowd as he left the ring.

We saw Goldberg make sure Jarrett was layed out for the ten count after he speared him in Jarrett’s United States Championship defence against Sid, Sid pinned Jarrett to become the new United States champion and Goldberg finished of Jarrett by Jack hammering him though a table.

Tony- We are just six days away from Superbrawl and what wild events will lead into Superbrawl. On Thunder we saw Sting coming to the aid of Chris Benoit after he got attacked by Lex Luger and the number one contender Ric Flair, will they collide tonight and what about Jeff Jarrett and Goldberg, on Thunder Goldberg interfered in Jeff Jarrett’s match against Sid and caused him to lose after spearing him, and because of the loss Sid became the new United states heavyweight champion. And then once Goldberg speared Jarrett he put him through a table using the Jackhammer and that laid out Jarrett. Will Jarrett retaliate in time for their last man standing match this Sunday at Superbrawl

Bobby- You can bet that Jarrett will have something up his sleeve for Goldberg tonight, and im looking forward to any confrontation between Flair, Benoit, Luger and Sting, something has to go down.

Tony- Brain you can guarantee that something will give, but right now we have one half of the Mamalukes and one half of Kronik battling each other as I suppose a warm up for the Tag title match at Superbrawl, so up next is Big Vito and Brian Adams.

Big Vito vs Adams

Vito and Adams going toe to toe, Vito hits Adams with a left, Adams hits Vito with a right and then a knee strike to the gut of Vito. Adams whips Vito of the ropes but Vito ducks as he comes back Adams missing a big boot, Vito sends a chop to Adams and then a kick to the mid section followed up with a DDT, Vito with the cover 1....2..and a kick out from Adams. Vito picks up Adams and goes for a standing clothesline but Adams pulls the ref in front of him, Adams with a low blow on Vito, Clarke comes running down the aisle the ref is down, Clarke sets Vito up for the Meltdown, Clarke rolls out of the ring and Adams picks up the already half dead Vito and sets him up for a Chokeslam that was devastating, Adams Adams grabs the ref and orders him to make the count as Adams goes down for the cover 1....2......3 it’s all over Clarke and Adams have destroyed Vito. Clarke gets back in the ring and he and Adams start putting the boots to Vito but Johnny The Bull comes running down the aisle and starts going at it with Clarke sending lefts and rights as Vito gives a low blow to Adams and then a DDT, Vito climbs the turnbuckle and launches of with a elbow drop straight to the chest of Adams, Johnny whips Clarke of the ropes, Clarke reverses it but Vito runs at Clarke taking his legs from under him with a dropkick to he back of his knees, The Bull climbs the turnbuckle and launches of with a legdrop and lands it across the throat of Clarke. Match 2

Filthy Animals(Kidman/Rey) vs Three Count II(Karagias/Moore).

Karagias and Kidman are on the outside as the two legal men Moore and Rey battle it out, Kidman whips Karagias of the ring steps he goes up to Karagias grabs him in a headlock and launches him self of the steps and into a bulldog, Kidman climbs the turnbuckle and launches him self into the air with a Shooting Star Press onto the outside and straight onto Evan Karagias, I think Kidman had hurt himself as well as Karagias in that collision. Back in the ring and Moore whips of the ropes and goes for a dropkick but Rey Slides out of the way and hits Moore with a dropkick of his own sending Moore back of the ropes and as Moore comes back Rey hits him with a Hurricanrana, Rey goes for the pinfall 1....2... and a kick out that was close, Rey whips Moore into the corner and runs at him with a bronco buster, Rey bouncing up and down on Three Counts Shannon Moore, Moore groggily stumbles into the center of the ring as Rey climbs the turnbuckle and here it comes Flying Hurricanrana of the top rope, Rey goes for the cover 1....2.....3 it’s all over.

Revolution Attack

The camera cuts the backstage area where we see Booker T walking he is dressed in his street clothes, suddenly we see Saturn, Malenko and Shane Douglas attack Booker from behind, they stomp and kick at Booker until Saturn and Malenko hold up Booker and Douglas takes shots at him , Douglas then sets up Booker for the Franchiser. Hall vs Goldberg

Hall with a shot to Goldberg but with no effect, Hall gos to whip Goldberg but Goldberg manages to stay stationery and brings in Hall for a clothesline, Goldberg whips Hall into the corner turnbuckle and runs at him squashing him in the corner, Goldberg shoulder charges Hall once, twice and a third time. Jarrett is running down the aisle Goldberg turns around as Jarrett is about to enter the ring, but wait Jarrett has his foot caught in the ropes, Goldberg comes in for the SPEAR, Goldberg has just layed out Jarrett again. Goldberg turns around and lands a Spear on Scott Hall, Goldberg signals for the Jackhammer, Goldberg lifts Hall into the air and slams him down for the Jackhammer 1....2.....3 Goldberg looks angry he goes straight over to Jarrett and starts laying into him with stiff shots and a kick to the gut, Goldberg whips Jarrett of the ropes and as he comes back lifts him up for the Press Slam. Tony- Well Jarrett tried to get one over on Goldberg but he messed up he got his foot caught in the ropes and got his ass handed to him by Goldberg, Goldberg then pinned Hall.

nWo assualt

Goldberg turns around and heads back for the ring where Jarrett is stood central waiting for Goldberg to make his entrance, Hall has slipped out of the ring and is waiting on the outside crouched down where Goldberg can’t see him, Goldberg enters the ring and stares straight at Jarrett and starts laying into him Jarrett tries to fight back but Goldberg over powers him and sends Jarrett straight into the corner, Hall rolls into the ring and shouts over to Goldberg, Goldberg turns and slowly starts walking over to Hall, Jarrett rolls out of the ring to find his guitar that he placed at the announcers desk, coming through the crowd is Kevin Nash, Nash steps in the ring and Goldberg turns around and is met by a big boot to the face form Nash. Nash picks up Goldberg as Jarrett enters the ring with his guitar in hand, Jarrett slams the guitar over the head of Goldberg sending him crashing to the ground, in his pocket Nash has some spray cans, he hands one to Hall and one to Jarrett and they turn Goldberg onto his stomach and spray the nWo initials over him. They raise their hands in the air celebrating the beat down of Goldberg.

Tony- That damn nWo, Jarrett is nothing but a coward, he can’t beat Goldberg on his own so he has to get help, he couldn’t beat Goldberg when it was him and Hall together so they had to use under hand tactics using Nash as a third member to beat down Goldberg, I tell you something on Sunday I hope Goldberg tears Jarrett apart.

Bobby- Before I said Jarrett didn’t now what he was getting into, but Tony he now’s exactly what he is getting into, I fancy the chances of Jarrett in the Last Man Standing match, Jarrett has proven he is probably one of the toughest guys in WCW, single handily taking out Goldberg

Main Event

Sting/Benoit vs Flair/Luger

Sting is taking on Luger pounding away at him in the corner with kicks and stomps, Sting whips Luger into the corner and follows up with a Stinger Splash, Luger drops to the floor and rolls out of the ring, Sting goes down after him and finds out a chair and Sting slams it across the back of Luger. Back in the ring and Flair has Benoit backed in the corner sending a wild chop to his chest and another chop and then Flair pokes the eyes of Benoit, Flair lets out a wooooooooh, Flair stomps at the ankle of Benoit and signals for the Figure four leglock, Flair grabs the foot of Benoit and spins round to apply the Figure Four but Benoit manages to kick him of as he goes straight into the ringpost. Sting and Luger have begun brawling in the crowd as Sting punches away at Luger as they make their way up to the top of the arena and into the hallways, Sting grabs Luger and slams him of the wall and again picks up Luger and head first straight into the Wall, Sting goes to the feet of Luger and applies the Scorpion Deathlock, this is wild Sting has Luger in the Deathlock at the backstage area, meanwhile back in the ring Benoit has Flair and puts him up for a suplex. 1...2. but a kick out from Flair, Benoit powerslams Flair down and signals for the end, he climbs the top turnbuckle and launches of with a flying headbutt and lands it, Benoit a bit dazed himself after that mover goes for the cover 1....2..and a kick out again from Flair. Flair gives a low blow to Benoit and sends him to the outside, Flair goes out and drops Benoit throat first onto the guardrails. Backstage Sting has broken the hold and they are fighting well who knows where abouts they are, but Sting has a chair in his hand he raises it and slams it across the head of Luger, oh Sting has busted Luger open, Sting drops the chair and just stares at Luger Sting stands over the body of Luger, Sting picks up Luger to his feet and just looks at him eyeball to eyeball, Luger looks like he hasn’t got a clue what’s going on, he looks like he needs attention from the medics but Sting looks around the room and sees a door leading to the outside Sting grabs Luger and runs him across the room and head first into the door. Sting opens the door and drags Luger outside and sets him up for the scorpion Deathdrop. Sting gets up and with a cold hard stare on Luger not once flinching just casually walks away into the distance leaving a bloody and helpless Luger on the floor almost certainly unconscious Back at the ring and Flair goes for a clothesline on Benoit but Benoit ducks and grabs the arm of Flair and applies the Crippler Crossface, Flair is in pain Flair taps he taps Flair has just taped out to the Crippler Crossface. Benoit celebrates and grabs back his World heavyweight title, Benoit raises it high in the air and shouts over to Flair. Benoit walks out of the ring and makes his way up to the entrance way but Flair comes running after him and knocks him down, Flair grabs the title of Benoit and puts it around his waist fastened tightly, Flair and Benoit begin brawling but officials and ref’s come out to break them up, but they can’t be held apart they both end up in the backstage area. Eventually officials manage to hold them apart and Flair and Benoit are carted of in separate directions, Flair still has a hold on Chris Benoit’s heavyweight title.

Tony- What an ending Sting has left Luger again in a pool of his own blood somewhere in the arena, we need to get the paramedics to him because Sting looks to have completely ripped Luger apart. Folks we have to go be sure to tune into Thunder to find out the aftermath of tonight’s show.

Tennay- Hello and welcome to WCW Thunder we are just three days away from Superbrawl and what will happen tonight after the wild ending to Nitro.

Bobby- Tennay what a question that is, on Nitro we saw Sting destroy Luger leaving him in a pool of his own blood somewhere outside the arena, Luger as I understand won’t be here tonight and after that beating he took at the hands of Sting that is understandable, but Tennay what will Sting do to Luger at Superbrawl, Sting said we would see the sadistic and dark side of him and on Nitro we did.

Tennay- And also we have to remember while Sting was of destroying Luger backstage Flair and Benoit were battling it out in the main event with Benoit getting the submission over Flair using the Crippler Crossface, Benoit momentarily got his title back but Flair then attacked him, once again stealing the title as they brawled backstage until they were split up by the officials.

Benoit wants Flair

The music of The Crippler Chris Benoit hits over the PA system and we see the WCW heavyweight champion make his way down to the ring.

Benoit has a microphone in hand.

Benoit- Nature Boy, your time is up, your time is now my time, on Thunder I kicked your ass, on Thunder I made you tap, on Thunder I proved to you im the best Nature Boy not you, and you see tonight is also my night, tonight is my time, tonight is the night I kick your ass.

Flair you may still have my heavyweight title but tonight I make sure that come Superbrawl I will walk to the ring with my title strapped around my waist, and I will also make sure that come the end of Superbrawl I will walk out with the title around my waist.

Johnny The Bull vs Bryan Clarke.

The Bull goes to land a left on Clarke but it gets blocked and Clarke unleashes a barrage of punches onto The Bull, Clarke whips The Bull of the ropes and as he comes back nails him with a big boot to the face, Clarke picks up The Bull and lifts him above his head drops him down onto his shoulder and with a devastating powerslam, Clarke signals for the end he goes to the back of The Bull and lifts him into the air for his finisher The Meltdown, Clarke goes down for the pinfall 1....2.....3. Clarke has destroyed Johnny The Bull, Clarke signal again for another Meltdown and here it comes, Clarke taunts Johnny The Bull and leaves the ring.

Tennay- Well up next is Jesse Ventura and he will apparently be making the rest of the evenings matches.

Ventura makes matches

The camera cuts to the back as we see Ventura sitting at his desk.

Ventura- Well lets get down to business then, I’ve decided on the rest of tonight’s action, first up will be diamond Dallas Page verses Buff Bagwell and im letting the rules go a little so say if Hogan were to show up and have a friendly word with Page then so be it, next up will be Shane Douglas verses The Wall and since Douglas likes having the odds stacked in his favour I thought it would be wise to add a special guest referee, so one that would be able to handle anything in the ring that referee will be Booker T . And then in the main event it will be Jeff Jarrett in a rematch for the United States heavyweight championship going up against Sid, and once again im relaxing the rules for this match, so if Goldberg were to confront Jarrett and have a little warm up for their Last Man Standing match at Superbrawl then so be it. The camera cuts back to Meane Gene as he stands with Jeff Jarrett.

Gene- Jeff you are just three days away from stepping in the ring with Goldberg and in a Last Man Standing match, some people say you have signed your own death wish.

Jarrett- Shut up you Jurassic Slapass people can say what they want but the fact of the matter is the nWo and Jeff Jarrett are sending out a message to WCW and the message will be received loud and clear, Goldberg come Superbrawl you days in WCW are at and end. Match 2

Diamond Dallas Page vs Buff Bagwell.

Page slams down Bagwell with powerslam and follows up by dropping an elbow onto Bagwell, Page gets Bagwell to his feet hits him with a left and then with a right and follows up with a tornado clothesline, oh look who it is coming down the aisle Hulk Hogan, Hogan steps in the ring and Page runs at him but is met with a punch to the face, Hogan grabs Pages head and follows up with a punch and the grabs him and whips him of the ropes as Page comes back he is met with a Big Boot, Hogan signal to the crowd and here it comes Legdrop Of Doom. Bagwell picks up Page and climbs the turnbuckle and launches of and hits the Blockbuster on Page, he goes down for the pinfall, 1....2......3, Hogan climbs into the ring after finding out a chair and nails it across the head of Page, Page staggers to his feet but Hogan sends him crashing back down with another chair shot. Hogan places the chair across the head of Page he bounces of the ropes and here it comes The Legdrop of doom straight onto the chair, Page is bleeding ferociously, Hogan has done the damage and Page is out, Hulkamania lives on.

Backstage fight

Suddenly the music of the Heavyweight Champion Chris Benoit plays over the PA system, Benoit is handed a microphone by the ring announcer.

Benoit- Flair I want you tonight, make no mistake about it, but you see it can’t happen, in the ring anyway that has to wait until Sunday at Superbrawl, you see I went to Ventura and asked for a match tonight with you but he flat out refused, he told me any in ring action between you and me has to happen at Superbrawl, but what he suggested was maybe just maybe if any wrestling or physical contact were to happen outside of the ring and outside of the building then there wouldn’t be a thing he could do about it. So Nature Boy this is what is gonna happen, when the main event has finished and Thunder officially ends I will be waiting in the parking lot outside of the building and Flair I want you. You said if I can find you then your all mine, well Flair you know where I will be and if your man enough then you will come to me. Remember Flair tonight you become the Crippled. 77%

Tennay- Wow what will happen Benoit has challenged Flair to a well not a match but a fight once the main event has finished and Thunder ends then there will be nothing that WCW can do to stop it, and I’ve just had word that there will be a camera following Flair and they will show us any fight that happens between Flair and Benoit even when Nitro has ended.

Bobby- You know what this whole thing stinks, Ventura has practically handed Flair to Benoit on a plate, Ventura should be keeping order around this place not letting mayhem happen.

Tennay- Well I for one hopes that Flair gets what’s coming to him, just like next I hope Douglas gets what’s coming to him as he takes on The Wall as Booker T serves as the special guest referee.

Match 3

Shane Douglas vs The Wall.

Booker T guest referee

The Wall whips Douglas from one corner to the other, Wall comes running in but is met with a forearm to the face, Douglas runs in at The Wall and leaves him down with a clothesline, Douglas looks to nail The Wall with the Franchiser but incoming Booker T with the Scissors kick to Douglas, The Wall takes advantage as he sets up Douglas for the chokeslam and goes down for the cover 1...2....3 Booker T has screwed Douglas out of a victory. Booker picks up Douglas and nails him with a kick to the mid section and again with another scissors kick. Booker has layed out Shane Douglas.

The camera cuts to the back we see Hulk Hogan walking out of the building and into the parking lot, with Meane Gene chasing after him.

Gene- Hulk, Hulk wait a sec, ah Hogan

Hogan- You know something brother I gave Page a beating of his life and come Superbrawl it will be no different, Page found out Hulkamania is still running wild and at Superbrawl he will find out that Hulkamania can not be destroyed, Page what ya gonna go when Hulkamania runs wild on you. Hogan walks of in the direction of his car the camera pans round and a figure is shown pacing back and forth, the camera zooms in it’s Chris Benoit. 95%

Tennay- Hogan is gone but we saw Chris Benoit waiting, waiting for the arrival of Flair, Benoit wont back down he made the challenge to Flair and he wants Flair, but will Flair show up. It is that time the main event scene is upon us Jeff Jarrett and Sid is up next.

Main Event

Jeff Jarrett vs Sid.

Sid goes for a clothesline but Jarrett ducks and gives Sid a kick to the mid section and follows up with a DDT, and for the cover 1...2...and a kick out, Jarrett rolls to the outside and grabs his guitar he goes into the ring waits for Sid to stand he raises the guitar and SPEAR it’s Goldberg he has speared Jarrett, Jarrett is down incomes Sid he picks up Jarrett and powerbomb and down for the cover 1.....2....3 its over Sid is still United States champion, and it’s down to Goldberg.

Goldberg gets back in the ring and picks up Jarrett for the Jackhammer, Jarrett is down Goldberg is the Last Man Standing

Tennay- Wow Goldberg has kicked the hell out of Jarrett, if I was Jarrett I wouldn’t bother showing up for Superbrawl, I say his days in WCW are done, Jarrett has got to face Goldberg in a Last Man Standing match, it will be brutal, it will be a bloodbath and it might very well signal the end of Jeff Jarrett’s career. But he made his bed now it’s time to lie in it.

Bobby- Usually I disagree with you and for good reason, but this time I have to agree with you , Jarrett made the challenge to Goldberg and he will face the consequences, it might very well be the end of Jarrett in WCW.

Tennay- You know what time it is, officially it is the end of Thunder and time for us to go, but unofficially we will have cameras in the parking lot awaiting Flair’s arrival. Thunder has ended but we will show you any action between Flair and Benoit.

Thunder ends and the WCW logo appears on the screen with the copyright appearing at the bottom of the screen, but almost straight away the screen comes to life and we see the camera focussed on Chris Benoit, he is sitting on the bonnet of a car with his arms crossed staring hard at the exit of the building obviously looking out for Ric Flair.

As Benoit sits on the car bonnet he suddenly is pushed of and onto the floor as Flair appears behind him Flair quickly runs round to Benoit and starts stomping away at him, Flair lets out a woooh and mutters “come on Crippler” Benoit strikes the back of Flairs legs and holds onto his leg as he gets to his feet, Benoit grabs Flairs head and slams it of the car, Flair drops to the ground and Benoit stomps away at the stomach of Flair. Flair tries to crawl away but Benoit puts a foot straight onto the back of Flair making sure he can’t get away. Benoit lifts Flair to his feet and chops his chest and punches him in the head and again with another, Benoit punches wildly away at Flair, Flair is in trouble as Benoit is beating the hell out of him, Benoit grabs Flair and runs him straight of the car and Flair goes bouncing to the ground, Benoit goes to Flairs waist and see’s his title belt strapped around his waist, Benoit unstraps the title and puts it on top of the car. Suddenly a car comes screeching by and the door on the passenger side flings open, Flair sends a low blow to Benoit and quickly jumps into the car, someone has saved Flair from taking the beating of his life, Flair is gone but Benoit has got his title back. 79%

The main event will see the 15 time heavyweight champion Ric Flair take on Chris Benoit as they battle to prove who is the best in WCW, Flair for weeks has had a hold on the title as he stole it away from Benoit only losing hold of it on Thunder as Benoit beat him down in the parking lot.
