My first attempt ...

My first attempt at using Photoshop. The font I don't like, but I couldn't get it to change colour, or get any proper effects on it. Also, everytime I added a PSD they merged with the background, I like the effect tho the bottom right picture I would of prefered in colour, for the goriness.

Any thoughts, advice or criticism are welcome. Help me out, yeah? <3

I don't know much about graphics, but the two pics on the right in the first graphic look pretty good. I don't like much else about that one though, the background is decent but the other two pics look like they are just floating there.

• They need borders.

• You need to make sure you have anti-aliasing on for the text.

• Speaking of which, the fonts in the first picture are pretty awful, and you need to work out how to add a stroke or a drop shadow or something to make the text stand out.

• The cut of Raven sitting down in the first pic looks out of place, plus it cuts off at his knee.

• The background isn't bad, but it is very simple and overused.

These are much better then my first trys at graphics, just wondering on the last one, what exactly did you do other then take psd's or pics and put them on a black background?

Cut placement's a bit off too. I'd move Jarrett down level with Christian.

I went with Jarrett a little higher, because he King of the Mountain, so to speak. Being champion and all that jazz. But I can see what you mean.

Not to bad. Mine were horrible when I first started. In fact they still are. At least you didn't over use blur like some other graphic designers on this board.
