I find it hard to believe that it's your very first...

It's not bad, perhaps a bit wide considering there isn't much content (2 cuts). The background is quite busy but I think it works well here with the big space in the middle, sort of fills the void.

I like the bevel on the 'I Am...' text but maybe move it up a bit, I don't like how the 'm' runs into the border. I'm not keen on the 'AJ Styles' pixel text. Could possibly add a shadow or lighten the colour a bit to make it stand out more? Or you could change the font.

Overall, it's a nice piece. I'd go for a 7/10.

It's actually the opposite. That is pretty good for a first attempt. Most first GFXs suck.

First graphic you've posted maybe but definatley not the first you've made. It's decent. I would've had the text stand out a bit more. One thing that always irks me is when the text is touching the border too.

I don't see why all of you disbeleive it's his first graphic. I've seen people whip pretty decent stuff out on their first attempt.

Besides, all the techniques he used are pretty simple, which is normally what I do.

Anyway, I'd give it a 7/10 - would be higher, but your border is rather untidy and clips the cut/text.

I'm the rare kinda person who doesn't like that busy-looking background. Too gritty and grimy for me, and also have a problem with the text dropping into the border but the cuts are nice and clean and means you're someone else I don't really want to meet in the first round of this tournament
