Can someone tell me why I've never listened to Tool? I like A Perfect Circle and Tool really seem like the kind of band I would really like. But why have I never listened to them? I don't think I've actually heard a single, entire, Tool song. Recommend away fella's.

Aenima (however you spell it), Stinkfist, Hooker With A Penis and 46 & 2 from Aenima (again, spelling?)

Schism, Parabol + Parabola (best bet is to get the two MP3's, and attach the first one to the second one, as they run onto each other) and Ticks and Leeches from Lateralus.

By my reckoning,they are some of the easier songs to get into by Tool, and get started on their stuff.

Just buy Aenima, it's one of the best CDs ever and has so many Tool greats that it's worth buying for a first time listener.
