I was excited as hell watching this movie. But even more, I walked out knowing that I was excited just watching Superman use his breath to slow fire. Just wait until he faces Brainiac or Doomsday, where he'll be fighting an actual supervillain, not just tectonic plates.

I hope the next film is a super villian movie, as yet no Superman film has featured one aside from II, and they managed to mess that up with the Super Lobotomy on Lois, the stupid S-Shield Saran Wrap thing, and the teleportation. And no, we don't speak of Quest For Peace. That wasn't a super villain, that was super stupid and best forgotten.

And Pepsi is right, it is completely said in no uncertain terms at the end of the flim that Jason is Superman Jr.

I loved the film and was by far the best film I've seen this year. It was fun, it was entertaining, and Brandon Routh was perfect as the man of steel as was Spacey as Luthor.
