New banner for my website

So I've decided that I hate my old website banner

This is a new one I've been toying around with. What do you think?

I prefer the old one to be honest, but the new one's not bad at all. Perhaps try a combination of the two? The little man is cool though, keep him.

Yeah, 9/10 people I ask seem to prefer the old one. I'm just so sick of it, and feel like a change. I'm going to keep tinkering with it.

I prefer the typography on the second one, but I like the first better because of the nifty stripes.

Is it wise to have your resume online for all to see? I know a lot of people who've put theirs online but all of them had them password restricted and only gave out passwords to employers who asked for them. I personally wouldn't put my personal info up just in case.

Other than that, some decent work on there, good job.

Rename the banner to header, as a lot of firewalls block the word banner in image titles.

the newer one is really sweet i think. The old one is good, but a bit plain. I prefer the newer.
