Backstory...

The latest batch of students arrive for their Beginners Camp training, while a group of students move up to the Semi-Pro Camp. and a select few have made it to the Pro Camp. All Pro Wrestling and it's Boot Camp training school have been operating since 1991, and have been featured in the documentary Beyond The Mat. Throughout it's existance, APW has trained such notable super stars as Michael Modest, Vic Grimes, The Great Khali, Brother Runt aka Spike Dudley, Crash Holly, Donovan Morgan, Cheerleader Melissa, J.J. Perez, Nathan Rulez, Tony Jones, Maxx Justice, and Brent Albright aka Gunner Scott, to name a few. Some of the former students have remained in APW since graduating, while others have moved on, and others have returned. The five that have made it through Beginners and move on to Semi-Pro seem average, nothing special, and the same for the three left in the Pro Camp. One student, Buddy Awesome, who has signed up for the July 2007 camp has been talking with APW owner, Roland Alexander, for quite some time, and has brought to him some very interesting ideas. After a few weeks of negotiations, a meeting was set up between Roland Alexander, Commishioner Gabe Ramirez, and Head Booker Jason Deadrich, with Buddy attending. APW's management and Buddy Awesome came to an agreement, that if Buddy Awesome was willing to buy into the company, he would be given a job booking for All Pro Wrestling. Buddy agreed, and in the next month, paid his way into the company, and he was told that on December 1st he would begin. Buddy knew this would not be easy to impress the fans right away, as APW just came off a very successful string of shows featuring top talent such as The James Gang, America's Most Wanted, Ron Killings, Petey Williams, and Kamala. Jim Neidhart, who was booked for a show in December, had cancelled, and Buddy would have to replace him soon. Also, Christopher Daniels was booked to wrestle at a show in January, but since the booking hasn't returned phone calls for discussions of any storyline or match ideas for his appearance. Thanksgiving Thunder came to an end at the APW Gym in Hayward, California, and it was time to move on. In just a few days Buddy would take over as Head Booker, and he had a lot of work to do. Booking isn't an easy job, Buddy was warned, and he was about to find out everything he wanted, or didn't want to know about the business side of professional wrestling.

...December 1, 2006...

Buddy opened his e-mail to see a new message from Roland Alexander. "Buddy Awesome, I wish you the best of luck with your new job. You have my full support." Had this dream really became a reality for Buddy? Ten minutes after 9:00 AM, the phone rings. It's Jason Deadrich. The conversation is short, as he tells Buddy that him and Gabe have just signed deals with four exclusive sponsorships; Metabolife, AND 1, General Mills and LucasArts Games. He also tells Buddy that the students at the Boot Camp aren't taking the trainers serious, as they were just run of the mill APW wrestlers and nothing special. Buddy had an idea to hire a legend to take over as the Head Trainer, as Jason replied with, "Hmm, not a bad idea..." "I'll look around." Buddy said. "I also noticed that we need somebody full time to take over the job of production. While we have volunteers now, and that's fine to save money, having our own legitimate production crew would make APW seem more professional." "True." Jason replied. "And the final thing of my concern is that Jermz has been the only voice of APW for far too long, nothing against him, but we do need a colour commentator alongside him. We have two referees right now, Kristina McGraw and Tom Castor, that's good for the time being. Maybe get a third one down the line. I might get a couple back-up writers, always good to have too many heads thinking than not enough. You and Doug Anderson are in charge of maintaning the locker room as the road agents, and I think we should also get somebody a medic for APW, instead of not having one. It's always good to have one on hand, especially in this business. Honestly, I'm shocked APW hasn't had a medic for as long as it's been around." There's a silence... "I'll take care of all that. I was given the funds to get the ball rolling in the direction I want. APW's doing great right now, there's no denying that. And staying within Hayward, San Francisco, and Bakesfiels is also smart to keep going with, build our local fan base. Kristmas Kaos is probably going to be the last "big show" of ours that I'll do in Hayward, the rest I want to push in San Fran or Bako, get more revenue in those areas. And I have a really big idea for Kristmas Kaos, it'll shake up APW as we know it! But listen, I gotta run. Lots of work to do. I'll have the show announced later on tonight or tommorrow night. Talk to you later." Buddy hangs up the phone, and grabs a folder from his desk, and begins to search through it, looking through the talent roster that All Pro Wrestling currently has...

Tito Aquino (17 Over, Face, No Gimmick Needed)

Tony Jones (35 Over, Face, Old School Face)

Vennis De Marco (12 Over, Heel, Mafia)

Vic Grimes (52 Over, Face, Extremist)

The yonger stars in APW had become legitimate through the APW fans, but with the return of Vic Grimes, he is by far the most over performer on the roster. But, APW has been using Vic for big matches only against stars such as Gangrel, and keeping him out of the title hunt. The title scene in APW is also quite strong...

Universal Champion: Kafu

Internet Champion: Mr. Prime Time

Tag Team Champions: E.G.O.

Kafu defeated Dana Lee to regain the Universal Champion, and has dominated since. Mr. Prime Time has held the Internet Championship for several months. With every Internet Title defence being watched for free on Clickwrestle.com, the belt and Mr. Prime Time has won over many new fans as he takes to the air in his defences. The Tag Titles have been defended by E.G.O. against such top name tag teams as The James Gang and America's Most Wanted. The Tag Team Division in APW is decent, but room for improvement is there of course...

E.G.O. (Nathan Rulez & A.J. Kirsch)

Ground And Pound (Dana Lee & Tito Aquino)

The Mafia (Chris Colione & Vennis De Marco)

First was to hire some staff. After looking for some old time wrestlers who have become trainers, Buddy finds Bill Ash & Richard Charland. After looking through their portfolios, Bill Ash is hired as the head trainer to the APW Boot Camp. The search for a colour commentator was easy, as Buddy hired Larry Rivera from Xtreme Professional Wrestling fame. The writing team, production crew, and medic would have to come later on in the week, as Buddy was wanting to wait a few days to research some candidates for the job.

Before he knew it, the 1st had come and gone. While he made 2 big hires for APW, more work is still to be done. He assured that the show for Kristmas Kaos would be posted by tonight or tommorrow, so to be sure not to upset any of the higher ups, Buddy knows he must have the show up by tommorrow night. A lot of ideas were going through his head as he tried to go to sleep that night, what is in the future for him in All Pro Wrestling? Now that he thought about it, he was pretty rude to Jason Deadrich on the phone. Would that make any difference? We'll have to find out tommorrow!

...December 2, 2006...

Buddy is woken up the next morning by a phone call. It's Gabe Ramirez. After a short conversation, all Gabe really says is that Buddy is on a trial basis, and that Roland Alexander has high hopes for him to make APW succeed. Buddy checks his e-mail to find several releases from other companies. Two of which spark his interest, as Ring of Honor has released Brent Albright, who used to wrestle in APW years back as Vinnie Valentino, and the WWE as Gunner Scott. Also from NWA:TNA, Puma was released. Puma is a former APW Internet champion, and Buddy adds these two workers to his shortlist. It also comes to Buddy's attention that Hardcore Holly is nearing the end of his contract with WWE, but Buddy doesn't think Hardcore Holly going to APW will really draw any fans, or that anybody would care.

It's time to look for some staff. First, writers are needed. Jan Pearce and Duncan O'Brien were hired. A production specialist was easy to find, and Buddy hired Elisar Cabrera. Last, and most importantly was a medic. The thought of any wrestling company not having a medic was just absurd to him. A local doctor in Hayward agreed to be the official medic for APW, James Soto.

Damn, half the day already gone. Time to get work out some contracts. Buddy feared that some of the talent in which he has big plans for in the future may be raided by a bigger promotion, so he took the liberty to sign some of the wrestlers to exclusive written contracts. Dana Lee, Derek Sanders, Johnny LaRocca, Kafu, Tony Jones, and Vic Grimes are all exclusive property of All Pro Wrestling under a 12 month contract. Now it is time to finally put together the card for the upcoming Kristmas Kaos...

...December 5, 2006...

Over the next few days, several more releases take place within WWE. Evidently they are on another one of their budget cuts. The majority of the divas are released. About time if you ask me. The majority of the releases seem reasonable. But, a few come as a surprise to Buddy... Al Snow? Jim Duggan? Roddy Piper? Jerry Lawler? Why in the world was Al Snow released? Does WWE realize the talent they are passing up? Duggan & Piper are understandable, but still come as a surprise to some. Jerry Lawler? Why? Now who's going to commentate RAW alongside Jim Ross? Oh well. A thought of offering matches to the released legends of Jerry Lawler and Piper crosses Buddy's mind, but nothing comes of it.

...December 6, 2006...

The Great Khali is released by the WWE. Roland sends Buddy an e-mail with a few ideas to bring him back to APW, but they eventually agree that bringing Dalip Singh back to APW is not a great idea.

...December 8, 2006...

The WWE continues it's firing spree. This time, a bunch of people Buddy has had his eye on have been released; Ariel, Cryme Tyme (JTG & Shad), Paul Burchill & Kevin Thorn. All of which were added to the personal shortlist. Buddy immediately calls Roland Alexander and asks for him to get ahold of Vince McMahon about using the copyrights to the names and characters, Roland says he will do that immediately.

...December 11, 2006...

With much anticipation leading into Kristmas Kaos, APW is growing and more fans are becoming aware of the promotion. WWE fires a couple more, all of which make the shortlist. Victoria, Mickie James, & Dave Taylor. A few other names come to Buddy's attention for a possible use in the future. Chris Kanyon, Keiji Mutoh & Jushin Liger are also added to the shortlist.

...December 29, 2006...

The mass budget cuts from the other promotions have all seemed to die down. The business has been running as usual the past few weeks, and most importantly, APW has been getting more and more exposure as it looks to end 2006 with a bang. Tommorrow is the big show, and the first under the command of Buddy Awesome. He has a lot of weight on his shoulders. How can he live up to last years Kristmas Kaos? Last year ended with ECW's Hardcore Icon, The Sandman coming to the aid of Derek Sanders to help him win the Universal Title from Kafu. A lot has changed since then, and who would have ever thought The Sandman would be signed to WWE these days?

The show starts with the punk rock band Red Tape from Sacramento, California performing in the ring. The crowd tonight at the APW Garage is packed, as fans are brought up to watch the show from the upper deck of the warehouse, and fans sit around the ring and a lot of fans are standing outside the warehouse by the merchandise booth, as the seats have been filled. Jermz, APW’s lead commentator heads to the ring to hype the fans for the upcoming show, and announces Larry Rivera, formerly known from XPW has become APW’s newest commentator.

Billy Blade Vs. Cheerleader Melissa

-Referee: Kristina McGraw

-The match was a solid bout, although it was obvious that Billy Blade was not happy during this match and was sluggish and not selling like normal. Cheerleader Melissa won the match with the Single Minor, and celebrated afterwards. Billy Blade didn’t sell his loss and got right up after being pinned, and stormed to the back.

Before their match could begin, with the other two tag teams (The Mafia & Ground And Pound) looking on, E.G.O. managed by Johnny LaRocca grabbed the microphone to do a short interview. LaRocca said that the last two title defenses from E.G.O. against The James Gang and America’s Most Wanted were too easy. While the teams from TNA are great, he added, they can’t match with the APW Tag Team Champions. LaRocca warned Rulez & Kirsch about the danger in this match, saying that the competition is fierce for their belts.

The interaction between The Mafia and Johnny LaRocca was intense, as LaRocca was constantly distracting them. At one point in the match, Dana Lee almost won the match for his team, while he was the only man in the ring and at the top of the ladder, all other five men were brawling on the outside, as Dana leaped off over the top rope and taking them all out with a flying cross body block. The end of the match came when Nathan Rulez clotheslined both Vennis DeMarco and Chris Colione out of the ring. A.J. Kirsch had the ladder set back up, and Nathan Rulez also powerbombed Tito Aquino through a table, and watched as A.J. took the belts to retain their titles!

MPT hopped down from the turnbuckle to talk with Payton as Sanders got up, and ran to attack MPT, but he dodged just in time and Sanders knocked Payton off the apron and right in front of a fan. It was time for the big open challenge. Vic Grimes is in the ring awaiting for somebody to come out and accept the match, when Gabe Ramirez walks through the curtain and begins to talk to Vic. He says that there is a man backstage who will accept that match, and that he never thought that he would see this man in APW again. Gabe tells everybody that this man left APW on bad terms before, and that this man even opened a rival wrestling company in Hayward a few years back, Pro Wrestling Iron! The fans erupt before his name is announced, but when Gabe announces that the challenger is MICHAEL MODEST, the fans go nuts. Modest steps out from behind the curtain and looks around the garage, seemingly disgusted. Gabe goes to shake hands with Modest, but receives a cheap shot for his efforts as Michael Modest gets into the ring and gets ready for the match.

-The fans were on their feet throughout this entire match. This match had everything, from mat wrestling, a few high risk moves, and even wild brawling. Grimes tried a pin after his Victimizer, but only got a 2 count. Modest only got a 2 count from his Golden Gate Spin as well. Vic tried getting into the “toy box” (tool closet inside the warehouse), but when Kristina McGraw tried to tell Vic to stay out of there, she got elbowed in the side of the head, unintentionally. Back to the ring, Modest pulled out a set of brass knuckles. Vic got back into the ring and kicked Modest in the gut before he could use the knucks, and pulled them off of Modest and used them for himself. Unfortunately for Vic, Kristina McGraw saw him use the brass knuckles and called for the disqualification. Vic was steaming, but had enough pride to shake Modest’s hand after the match, but Modest walked away after spitting in Grimes’ face.

-These two have been at each others throats for the past month now, and their rivalry shows no signs of slowing down any time soon. These two went at it and gave each other everything they had. Kafu accidentally big booted the referee, Tom Castor which opened an opportunity for Oliver John. As Oliver John set Kafu up for his piledriver, Sean Pulver ran out to the ring and nailed John twice hard with a steal chair, taking him out. Kafu locked Oliver John in his Brazilian Crucifix as the referee came back. Oliver John was out, and the referee dropped his hand to the mat three times, and declared Kafu to be the winner. Afterwards, Kafu and Pulver continued their attack on Oliver John, as they left him in the ring a battered and bloody mess. It seems as if the fans didn’t really buy into the gimmick of Sean Pulver being the bodyguard of Kafu.

December 31, 2006...

The show last night was one of the biggest shows APW has ever done, and it did not disappoint. The fans were expecting a huge name to be the one accepting Vic Grimes' challenge, but were not disappointed with it being Michael Modest. The return of Modest to APW, was not something that anybody ever expected to happen. Michael Modest was one of the very first graduated from the APW Boot Camp, and left the company on bad terms, to start his own promotion, Pro Wrestling Iron, and to wrestle for Pro Wrestling NOAH in Japan. The Modest/Grimes match was the show stealer, and the fans were talking about a possible re-match, since the ending did leave it open for just that to be a possibility.

The fans also seemed to be really into the band that opened the show, Red Tape. Buddy Awesome, being a fan of the band from Sacramento has said that he will keep them notified about the possibility of a future show.

With that good news, comes some bad. Billy Blade was so furious of having to job in his match with Cheerleader Melissa, that he has walked out on the company. His position on the roster will be replaced soon, for the next event and first of 2007, Ground Zero.

The Hayward city fire marshall was informed about the very large number in attendance at Kristmas Kaos, and has told Roland Alexander that APW is not to have any more than 100 people at their warehouse. With fans being in the balcany of the warehouse, and hundreds crowding the parking lot outside, it was said to be a fire hazard. APW has no plans on returning to Hayward in the near future, as the next string of shows are all booked in San Francisco, at the Kezar Pavilion or Bakersfield at The Dome.

APW has big plans for 2007, so stay tuned!

With three big matches already lined up for Ground Zero, APW is already shaping up the new year with a promising line up.

APW would like to wish a happy birthday to the following stars who will be celebrating their birthday this month: Kid Omega, J.J. Perez, Nathan Rulez & Sean Pulver.

APW would also like to make a note on a handful of wrestlers who will be retiring at the end of this month after finishing up their commitments: Sabu from WWE, Kato Kung Lee, Flesh Gordon, Mark Kerr, Mr. Pogo & Bruiser Bedlam.

APW once again lost money this month, but the amount was not nearly what it has been in the past, and this is a sign that APW is moving up! In fact, the man to replace Billy Blade in APW is none other than former WWE star, Paul Burchill! Burchill has signed an exclusive deal with All Pro Wrestling on a one year contract.

The finishing touches on the Ground Zero card should be made within the week.

Looks good so far. Quick not on format - try and bold things like who's in the match (Like Vic Grimes vs. Michael Modest) and do the same witht he stips, whatever. It'll break up the text and make it easier to read.

This made me laugh:

And yeah, I know in reality Dalip would probably never come back to APW again, but they did brag about him all over the site when he got the call up to WWE... That's a shocker, huh? And thanks for the tip on bolding. I'll start doing that. But yeah, this is my first time doing anything like this here, so give me a little slack haha. But seriously, all feedback is good to me. In other wrestling news, WWE has signed four workers to exclusive written contracts: Frankie Kazarian, El Hijo Del Santo, Psicosis, and Johnny Smith. NWA:TNA has signed Randy Couture to a written contract. It is rumored that the WWE is looking to feud El Hijo Del Santo & Psicosis with Rey Mysterio Jr. in a 3-Way Feud. It is also believed that the plan for Johnny Smith is a feud with William Regal. Kazarian has already debuted by accepting the open challenge of Gregory Helms for the Cruiserweight Championship. These are looked at as four good hires by the WWE, while it is unclear why TNA hired Couture. The idea of a possible feud with Tito Ortiz or Samoa Joe could spark interest in the fans, but nothing has been made official yet.

After reviewing some tapes, Buddy Awesome has added British super stars Jonny Storm and Doug Williams to the shortlist. Looking through old APW archives also made Buddy decide to shortlist Daizee Haze, Misterioso and Jardi Frantz. Any of these workers could offer a lot to APW, only time will tell if any of them are offered a spot on the roster.

And finally, APW is proud to announce the final lineup for the Ground Zero show, set to take place tommorrow evening! Check it out and make your predictions now!

HARDCORE GRUDGE MATCH

Vic Grimes Vs. Michael Modest

At Kristmas Kaos, Modest & Grimes stole the show. After Modest spit in Vic's face after the match and denied a handshake, Vic demanded a re-match to teach the obnoxious Modest some manners, in a Hardcore Match!

TAG TEAM MATCH

Oliver John & Tony Jones Vs. Kafu & Sean Pulver

Kafu retained his title over Oliver John with the help of Sean Pulver, and the two of them continued the assault on him after the match. Oliver John asked APW management for a tag match, and has a partener of his own to even the odds in "The Shooter" Tony Jones!

INTERNET TITLE MATCH

J.J. Perez Vs. Mr. Prime Time

J.J. won the #1 Contendership match against Scotty Aboot to face MPT for the Internet Title. These two have had classic battles over this championship before, and this match shouldn't be any different.

TAG TEAG TITLE MATCH

Ground and Pound Vs. E.G.O.

After the TLC match at Kristmas Kaos, E.G.O. offered Ground and Pound a team on team shot. This is Dana & Tito's first shot at the titles, and they plan on making the most of this!

Derek Sanders Vs. Cheerleader Melissa

Sanders has been dropping down the ranks lately, while Melissa has been sky rocketing up them! A win over Melissa would be a big boost for Sanders, while a win over the former Universal Champion Derek Sanders would also be a big win for our favorite Cheerleader.

Scotty Aboot Vs. Paul Burchill

APW welcomes the debut of Paul Burchill, but he certainly does have a tough match lined up for him against Scotty Aboot. What will come of the former WWE star, and the new pirate of APW?

Ground Zero kicked off with Derek Sanders and Payton coming to the ring to hype up their upcoming match with Cheerleader Melissa. Payton talked about how it was pointless to have a former Universal Champion going up against a cheerleader, and an actual female cheerleader, unlike what we’ve seen before on WWE. Payton promised to make an impact of her own tonight, and show that she is the greatest female in APW today!

Payton jumped up on the apron and began to yell at Melissa, but got forearmed off the apron, but when she turned around, Sanders was there to pick her up and slam her down with the Sandblaster to pick up the win. After the match, Payton got into the ring and stomped at Melissa a few times, before her and Derek left the ring to go backstage. When Melissa got back up to her feet, she did not seem happy.

TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH

Ground And Pound Vs. E.G.O. ©

-Referee: Kristina McGraw

-Dana Lee and Tito Aquino made the most of their first shot at the Tag Titles, using everything they had to overcome E.G.O. The end came when Johnny LaRocca tripped Tito Aquino, who took the time to yell at him. When he turned around, he was met with a flying cross body block off the top rope by A.J. Kirsch, which led to the pin fall victory and a successful title defense from Nathan Rulez and A.J. Kirsch.

After the match, Johnny LaRocca got on the microphone and told everyone that E.G.O. is still the best tag team that APW has to offer. LaRocca said that no team can defeat them, and he’ll prove that next month at Blood Brawl, no matter who E.G.O. has to go against.

J.J. Perez Vs. Mr. Prime Time ©

-Referee: Tom Castor

-This match was yet another amazing bout from these two, as they took turns trading holds and going to the air. In the end, MPT blocked the 3rd Eclipse from J.J. by pushing him off of the top rope and down to the mat. MPT jumped off with his Frog Splash to retain the Internet Championship. A handshake came after the match as a sign of respect.

Oliver John & Tony Jones Vs. Kafu & Sean Pulver

-Referee: Kristina McGraw

-After Kafu came to the ring, Pulver made his entrance and is seemingly back to his old Gay gimmick, while he tried getting Kafu to dance with him, which had Jones & John laughing at them. The match was sheer pandemonium from the get go, with all four men in the ring several times throughout the bout. Eventually this became too much for the referee to handle, as the called the bell for the double disqualification. Kafu began to yell at the referee after the decision, but was attacked again by Oliver John, while Tony Jones and Sean Pulver battled each other on the outside of the ring. Security broke all four men up after a lengthy battle.

Michael Modest came to the ring before his match was set to take place to explain why he came back to APW. He said he just couldn’t turn down the proposal he was given, because he knew he would piss everybody off, while making money by doing so. He told everybody that he isn’t surprised that Vic Grimes is still in APW as well, because no other place would hire his fat ass. Modest said that while he was doing tours of Japan, Grimes was wrestling in garages. Modest called Grimes out to start this hardcore match, so he could beat him again. Vic came out, and the two began to brawl right away.

HARDCORE MATCH

Vic Grimes Vs. Michael Modest

-Referee: Tom Castor

-This match had the same violence as the last battle, but this time it was all legal! Modest grabbed chairs from the fans to use on Vic to try and keep him down. Vic tried using a cheese grater, but Modest hit a low blow to prevent that. Modest did what he could to wrestle with Vic, preventing him from using his toys, but in the end, it was Vic who got the last laugh. Grimes beat Modest with a pin fall on the outside of the ring after using the Victimizer. Vic tried again to shake hands with Modest, who accepted. But, afterwards kicked Grimes in the gut and caught him with the Reality Check, leaving Grimes down on the mat beaten and bloody.

(Out Of Character: Feednack on the show would be awesome. In case you were wondering, the only reason I'm doing the matches in recaps is just until we get to a higher level, probably national (one day) and I'll write longer match descriptions. But, for keeping this more real to APW and indy feds in general, these results are supposed to be as if you'd read it from an online recap site. I have a lot of really big ideas for this game, should be a lot of fun!!)

…Friday, 02 February 2007…

WWE has signed independent worker Xavier to a written contract. This is good news for smaller wrestlers, showing that the door to WWE is opening up to more real wrestlers, and smaller workers. This could be a sign that the WWE is looking to become more well-rounded, instead of the big man business that it has the reputation of being.

…Monday, 05 February 2007…

APW has signed two workers to one year contract deals, both of whom will debut at Battle Lines, but in what fashion? All that has been said about these two signings is that this is huge news, that will set the standard of APW even higher.

More advances in the production values of the company have been made as well.

The following match has also been made official for Battle Lines…

-The fans were pumped up for this one, some fans even brought weapons of their own to be handed to the brawlers. Everything was used in this match, from tables, chairs, ladders, even barbed wire. Vic used a pizza slicer to open Modest up. Modest fought back by using a cheese grater from a fan to open Vic up. The end came when Modest used wire cutters to pull off some of the barbed wire that replaced the ropes to wrap around his body, which he used to avalanche Grimes in the corner, which knocked him out. Modest made the pin, and got the 3 count. After the match, Vic held his hand out to Modest, who finally returned the favor. It should be noted that Shelly Martinez, who is the new Co-Commishioner of All Pro Wrestling has been signed to a one Year contract. The show last night was looked at as being even better than the last one, even though the attendance was down slightly, The fans say that APW is getting better and better with every show. APW is looking to hire another five workers for the upcoming Garage Rumble show in order to hold a traditional 30 Man Garage Rumble matchup. It is rumored that after the transaction of another five workers, and after the Garage Rumble show, APW could be looking to "trim the fat" of the roster. Stay tuned for more news as it comes!

(Out of Character: Thank you to SM Punk for submitting predictions!! Hopefully with the next show next week we can get some more of those from different people! Here's the score board:

The first thing to report is that Kid Omega sustained an injury in the gym this morning, tearing his bicep. Doctors say that he will be out of action for 7 months, which adds the list up to 6 workers to be hired for the Garage Rumble. APW has released Kid Omega, not just for him being injured, but simply because there was no direction in the future of his character and All Pro Wrestling. APW wishes him the best in all of his future endeavors.

NWA:Total Nonstop Action have risen to Global level after their Against All Odds pay-per-view. They have signed the majority of their roster to exclusive contracts, as well as signed Brock Lesnar and Steve Austin to exclusive written contracts.

APW’s top draw, Michael Modest has began accepting bookings in other promotions as well as APW. While continuing to wrestle for APW, he will also compete in NWA: Cyberspace as well as NWA: Georgia Championship Wrestling. APW wishes Modest the best of luck in those federations.

FIVE huge matches already announced for the Garage Rumble event, and still one more to be named. This is shaping up to be the biggest show of the year so far for APW!

APW would like to acknowledge the following wrestling superstars who will be retiring at the end of this month: Sensational Sherri, Wallid Ismail and Lelani Kai.

Gregory Helms is coming to the end of his contract with World Wrestling Entertainment. It should be interesting to see if he signs an extension or not. If Helms departs from the WWE, this would be good news for independent promotions everywhere!

APW continues to lose money at the end of the month, but the amount is getting smaller and smaller each month. The company still is looking to get out of the red and begin to start gaining money very soon. Buddy Awesome has even cut down the size of the Garage Rumble match, originally supposed to be a 30 Man Rumble, to a 20 Man Battle Royal. Buddy is hoping to get APW out of the flow of losing money each month immediately, and says that this is the first step towards that goal. Buddy hopes that by decreasing the money being put into merchandising, and putting that towards advertising is a smart move that could draw in more fans, and should still keep the amount of money being made in merchandise around the same.

While APW has continued to stay alive while losing money each month, several companies were not so lucky. Four companies went out of business this month: East Coast Wrestling Association, Extreme Canadian Championship Wrestling, International Wrestling Syndicate, and Chaotic Wrestling. With ECWA owner Jim Kettner going bankrupt, Buddy Awesome has purchased the copyrights to ECWA's biggest event, Super 8. APW will now be the host of the Super 8 tournament, which will make it's APW debut in June.

garagerumble.jpg

Garage Rumble

Every worker on the APW roster, with the exception of staff members and the two men competing in the Universal Title Match will compete for a shot at the Universal Championship. The winner of the Garage rumble will face either Oliver John or Kafu at May Mayhem!

UNIVERSAL TITLE CAGE MATCH

Oliver John Vs. Kafu ©

TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH

Cryme Tyme Vs. E.G.O. ©

After months of E.G.O. claiming to be the best tag team APW has to offer, Cryme Tyme made their APW debuts to attack Nathan Rulez & A.J. Kirsch, and then walked away having stolen the Tag Team Belts. E.G.O. look to get the belts that rightfully belong to them back around their wasted, but JTG & Shad Gaspard intend on keeping those belts where they are, and legitimately win them!

BRA AND PANTIES MATCH

Payton Vs. Cheerleader Melissa

At Battle Lines, Melissa proved that she was the dominant female in APW, but Payton was not happy with her loss and stripped Melissa down to her bra and panties after the match. Will Payton be able to do it again, or will it be Melissa defeating Payton again?

INTERNET TITLE MATCH

Burchill Vs. Mr. Prime Time ©

The last time these two were in the same match, both man scored a pinfall over a different opponent in a 4 Corners Match, but the referee did not see Burchill’s pin, and MPT walked away with the win and his Internet Title intact. Who will get the pinfall in this singles match?

10 MAN TAG TEAM MATCH

Vic Grimes, J.J. Perez, Scotty Aboot, Tony Jones, & Dana Lee or Tito Aquino Vs. Michael Modest, Derek Sanders, Sean Pulver & The Mafia

With over half of the competitors in the Garage Rumble main event at ringside to open the show, this huge 10 man tag match should definitely get the crowd pumped up. Dana Lee and Tito Aquino will decide which member of their team will compete in the match, and it will be announced before the match begins!
