I think you could use another game first. Then again hook still needs to find tune balance issues too and it never hurts to learn more.

Though I think you both did well last game.

If nobody else wants to run a game, then why not, doesn't hurt to have new people try and run a few games... I found after I ran a couple of games, it actually helps with the learning curve... You definitely need somebody to look over the game and its mechanics though before hand... I'm up for a new game though...
