"Warning" by Green Day and "Picturebook"by The Beatles. Very similar tune.

Also the guitar/drum work in "Because of You" by Nickelback sounds like a song off "St. Anger" by Metallica, can't remember which one though.

I know that they're always a band who wear their influences on their sleeve, but the 2 new Sum 41 songs I've heard sound as though they could literally be on Blink 182's, "Blink 182" album. And the title track also kind of reminds me of "Fat Lip" (There's actually a place where the vocal line is exactly the same for 2/3 seconds...ripping off their own songs, for shame :shifty:). They're both really quite good at the same time though. Probably better than most/if not all of "Chuck". DTLI? was alright, but very boring. This has some of the 'fire' back.

The start of Joy Division's 'Love Will Tear Us Apart' is remarkably similar to Led Zeppelin's 'The Song Remains the Same'.

One good turn deserves another. Led Zep stole practically everything they did from some place or another. Robert Plant's whole vocal style is unashamedly early Roky Erikson, and as I said earlier, the majority of Jimmy Page's "compositions" were out and out stolen from poor blues and folk artists, even to the extent were a song would show up on a Yardbirds album as "trad. arr. Jimmy Page", yet on a Led Zep album as "written by Jimmy Page". The lyrics to "Whole Lotta Love" were ripped off wholesale from "You Need Lovin'" by Willie Dixon, "Dazed & Confused" was recorded by Jake Holmes before Led Zeppelin, yet is still credited as a Page/Plant composition...same goes for "Communication Breakdown", which is all but identical to an Eddie Cochran track. I could go on, and I'm sure there are individual instrumental parts stolen from here, there and all over the place (the drums in "Rock & Roll" are a Little Richard rip, for example, but given the subject matter I'll assume that's a loving homage and give them the benefit of the doubt) that I'm unaware of too.

If we're talking ripping off other songs, not many come close to Zeppelin, quite frankly.
