I don't know why a lot of people I know hate Criss Angel, the guy does some pretty out there shit and his show is very entertaining.

The first thing he did to make me go "oh shit" was in one of his first episodes, he did this stunt were he was on fire. After the time for the stunt was up, he fell to the ground like he was in pain. A bunch of guys come to put out the flames and help him, then a guy with the fire extinguisher reveals himself to be Criss. It was fucked, you're watching him the whole time, on fire, then he dives to the ground, and appears as another guy out of nowhere. It boggles the mind! Unless there was some brilliant editing and the whole crowd was in on it, it was some crazy shit. And if that's the case, I don't want to be informed.

The episode where he takes some celebrities into a haunted hotel is awesome, just because Three Six Mafia kick a lot of ass.

Criss Angel is fucking amazing, I don't know how any fan of magic could hate the guy. He's incredibly talented and he's very respected within the magic community. Sure, he's a bit over the top - the weird "desert segments" between illusions are ridiculously hokey and his attempts at music are hysterical, but he's an awesome illusionist.

He's pretty awesome. I find that he over acts some of his illusions, but besides that, his magic is out of this world.
