LOS ANGELES - Actress Isabel Sanford has died at a Los Angeles hospital. Sanford was best known for playing Louise “Weezie” Jefferson on the long-running sitcom “The Jeffersons.”

Her manager says she died of natural causes. No word on details. Earlier this year, Sanford was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

I loved the Jeffersons and still do. She lived a full life, but will be missed (I always got a kick out of seeing her and Sherman Hemsley reprise their roles as the Jeffersons for commercials, no matter how cheesy the commercials were). Rest in peace, Isabel.

RIP.

Whatever happened to The Jeffersons? Last I knew, it was airing on TVLand then POOF! It dissappeared.

Wow! I hadn't seen her show up for years and just recently she did a couple of Old Navy ads. RIP
