I agree that if they had to be down 2-0, they are in as good of shape as possible. They get the next three at home, they get the confidence of knowing they shrunk a 24 point lead to two in just 7 minutes, and hopefully now they will start getting to the rim/Kobe is due to go off.

Yeah, I mean it would've been one thing had they been just beaten in Game 2 but with that comeback, the Celtics gave the Lakers hope and momentum going to their home floor, a place where they haven't lost yet in these Playoffs.

It won't happen instantly because they really do need to work on their defense but being at home will definitely help them, especially since the Celtics haven't really proven they can win a whole lot on the road in the playoffs.

Donaghy apparently sold out more referees, claimed the NBA reprimanded a ref for ejecting Gary Payton in January 2000 (because the league didn't want star players ejected, especially early in games), and then proceeded to claim the fix was in for the 2002 and 2005 NBA playoffs (the Kings-Lakers series in 2002 was explicitly referenced, implying the refs gave the Lakers game 6 to get the series to game 7, but I'm not 100% on which series(es) were referenced in the 2005 implication).

Through it all, David Stern remains delusional with a transparently fake smile and a "My referees are incorruptible" stance.

Stern has done a pretty good job directing the NBA past Donaghy during the season. He's going to do whatever he can to put the story back in the box until tangible proof is found that backs up Donaghy's claims.
