There is always the possibility that CBC could lease it from CTV for an obscene amount of money - it's not going to happen, but I'm surprised I haven't seen anyone else suggest it yet.

Did anybody see the ending credits of Off the Record? It was clips of Maple Leaf goals from last season and Ron Wilson behind the bench set to the version of the HNIC theme they played during the ending credits on CBC. It's the one they play in between periods and after the game. Pretty weird.

Give TSN credit, at least they're making sure we have absolutely zero emotional attachment to the theme by the time HNIC returns next fall. We'll be more than ready for a new song.
