There was a bomb threat discovered via e-mail by Clemson officials. They have checked the building in question and nothing was found, they have brought in more security and are checking everyone throughly. No backpacks, tote bags, or brown paper bags are allowed tonight for the game.

What are you talking about. They ended the season strong with a route of UCLA, then added talented coaches to revamp the offense. That's why they were ranked, has nothing to do with Bobby. Not to mention their game before that they were very close to upsetting Florida 14-21.

As for the team itself, it showed promise. The beginning to the game was frustrating that the defense would not stick and drive. Arm tackles and they just ran through them. But Rick Trickett will get the OL together in time, Jimbo will get a QB in time, and they'll be ok. That OL is extremely young, extremely young. Weatherford and Lee both didn't impress Fisher all summer long so he isn't happy with them back there. It's more of a factor of them starting against a good Clemson team. They have a veteren defensive line that just tore the youngster apart and a lot of speed in the backfield. Not to mention the OL suffered from the hostile enviroment. Tough thing for them to start out... sorry we can't play Youngstown St. I know that is a tough game to begin with. OSU has one of the worst schedules this year while FSU takes one of the toughest. At least they have guts enough to schedule a few tough games out of conference.

And just like other teams the only reason they started scheduling these teams is the 12th game. Just go back throughout the history of OSU including recent years. OU, Kent St., Youngstown St., etc. In recent years they started putting Texas on the schedule, now next season they'll get USC, and so on. And him saying they are only ranked because of Bobby is like saying OSU only gets ranked because they are OSU, or Notre Dame because of Notre Dame. It's ridiculous. It's anothe reason why I hate pre-season rankings and already expressed why they don't work... because you never know what a team is going to look like year-to-year. And it wasn't like FSU was ranked in the top ten anyway, they were #19.
