Best Girlband Song EVER!

Girls Aloud FTW. I'd shag them all. Tweedy's my least favourite, but I still would, just to annoy Ashley Cole.

Seriously, everyone needs to track down their cover of "Teenage Dirtbag". There's just something arousing about hearing them sing "come listen to Iron Maiden, baby, with me... ooooh-oooh-oooooohooooooohooooooooooooooh!"

Live, in school uniforms, for those interested.

The Tide Is High can't really be classed as an Atomic Kitten song though cos they butchered the Blondie classic that it once was (and that was apparantly originally by the "Paragons" in the 60s).

Now a mention HAS to go to B*witched, while their music wasn't particularly good, the lass with the curly hair was gorgeous....Actually "Blame it on the Weatherman" was pretty good.

Ah yes, her name was Lindsay Armaou apparantly...

Also, as I refuse to count Jim Corr, I class The Corrs as a girl(ish) group - and I actually REALLY like the song "Runaway", although I believe it was a cover. Still, my university first year DID see me with an Andrea Corr poster in my student room. Woohoo.

"Not Gonna Get Us" by Tatu is also actually a decent piece of music - personally I feel the two of them are kinda overlooked for their music cos of everything else surrounding them.

Atomic Kitten - The Tide Is High

Misteeq - One Night Stand, Scandalous

The Nolans - I'm In The Mood For Dancing

Cleopatra - Cleopatra, Life Ain't Easy (they were good!)

B*Witched - C'est La Vie, Blame It On The Weatherman

Eternal - I Wanna Be The Only One

Spice Girls - Too Much

B*Witched - To You I Belong

The Veronicas - 4Eva

All Saints - Black Coffee

Sugababes - Hole in the Head

Atomic Kitten - It's Alright

All songs I'll admit to listening to on occasion as guilty pleasures. That Eternal song is good too - but I didn't include them as I've not heard anything else by them.

If we're counting The Corrs, it has to be "Runaway", because it's immense. Pure Shores and 2 Become 1 are class as well. I've never really been fond of Girls Aloud or Sugababes aside from the odd song.

EDIT: Can't believe I forgot "No Scrubs" by TLC! I love that song.

Surely The Corrs aren't a girl band in the traditional, manufactured pop sense. There are three girls, I'll grant you, but there's Jim and the fact they write their own music and play their own instruments. That automatically puts them beyond the league of a general girl band in terms of actual talent
