As a hint to the sound, it's basically The Network with 'floatier' vocals, in other words, the vocal are a bit rubbish but the instrumentals are enjoyable.

It was alright. Not as good as The Network... Still loads better than Warning though.

Its a side project just like the Network is. I don't really considering it Green Day working under a pseudonym, its a different band, and I know there's at least one person in it who isn't usually affiliated with Green Day.

Green Day has its style of music that they put out under that name. This is the members of Green Day doing something different, thus working under a different name.

Its better than the Network in my opinion, songs seem more polished, lyrics are much better and the whole thing seems like less of a joke than the Network is/was

And I'm not really getting the Network comparisons, that was punk mixed heavily with New Wave, this sounds like Green Day meets The Strokes/The Hives/The Fratellis

Mother Mary has taken a rather good placement on my current playlist, thoroughly enjoyable, reminds me of "Are You Gonna' Be My Girl?" by Jet.
