Finding UK sales is trickier than I thought...

I've got Japan sales for first half of '07

Nintendo DS - 3.47 million [19.3 million total]

PSP - 1.07 million [6.21 million total]

Wii - 1.60 million [3.55 million total]

PlayStation 3 - 385K [1.20 million total]

Xbox 360 - 82K [450K total]

German sales for November/December:

1) DS - 653,000

2) Wii - 339,000

3) PS2 - 184,000

4) PS3 - 136,000

5) 360 - 56,000

VGChartz gives the following:

WORLDWIDE SALES: Wii (22.26mil), 360 (17.37mil), PS3 (10.62mil) - remembering how long each console has been available for.

WEEKLY HARDWARE SALES 1st MARCH '08:

Japan: PSP (84,000), Wii (65,000), DS (53,000), PS3 (14,000), 360 (2,000)

USA: Wii (218,000), DS (153,000), 360 (103,000), PS3 (90,000), PSP (76,000)

Other: DS (174,000), Wii (92,000), PS3 (75,000), 360 (48,000), PSP (46,000)

Other interesting release news:

"The PS3 sold a massive 165,000 units over its first weekend, according to numbers reported by Chart Track. This crushes the openings of both the Wii, which sold 50,000 in its first 12 hours last December, and the Xbox 360, which sold 70,000 units in its first weekend in December 2005. The PS3 still wasn't as fast the as the PSP, though, which sold 185,000 at launch in September 2005."

Also, I never knew this....

"Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) sold 185,000 PlayStation Portable handheld consoles in the UK on release weekend, smashing the previous three-day record, set by Nintendo's DS (87,000)."

"Chart-Track said 24 games were available at launch, more than any console has shipped alongside here."

Warhawk (online play only)

Formula 1 (out of date but still thrilling to play)

Motorstorm is definitely worth a play as is Resistance

Unreal Tournament 3 (if PC doesn't count against exclusivity)

Folklore is supposed to be decent.

Bit late here, but Ratchet and Clank too...tremendous fun, and I've spent like 5 hours on it so far I reckon, and I can't be more than 40-60% into it.

Yeah I've heard excellent things about Ratchet and Clank so definitely worth looking into...
