Games for older pcs?

I've realized that PC games have been able to keep my attention longer than console games. The only problem is that my computer is 4 years old.

My set up is: AMD 64 bit processor 3400+ 1.81 ghz, 1.5 gigs of RAM, and an on board video card.

I can run Fable with no problem, Civ IV with just minor slow down at the cut scenes, but it ahs a hard time of running Sims 2.

Can anybody help me find games that my system could run.

I've always wanted to tryout the Fallout series. I'm going to tryout Fallout 2, as it is easier to find.

Deus Ex is fantastic, Age of Empires (any of them probably) are both games i've played on my computer that I had back in 2000.

I also play MechWarrior 4 and its expansions on my PC which has similiar specs to you, and that game is awesome.

Fallout is the most overrated game in history. I got killed by a RAT because my bloke couldn't shoot it from one square away. I never played it again.

Sid Meiers Pirates! is fun, your pc should be able to handle it.
