A free pc game, where you are the ruler of a country, and you pass laws to gain popularity and create a utopia. I found it on EWB where you were all discussing it, but that was like a year or so ago. Can anyone help?

Aside from the 'free' part, sounds a lot like Democracy.

Beyond that, the only real (free) example I can think of is Shadow President, but that's more of a foreign policy simulator than anything domestic...

Since that's resolved... What's the game called where it's basically an updated version of Age of Empires, you can go through differant phases of civillization & theres a game mode where you can try and conquer the world? You get a map of the world in the mode & all the differant countries are a different colour.

Also you could get armaggedon.

Sounds a bit like Empire Earth, though I don't remember the world map part from my brief experience with the game.
