I'm in a real zone of Bonnie 'Prince' Billy listening. He is a wonderful man! And even though he releases stuff almost yearly its never bad! And he just looks odd. With his bald head and huge beard! Something about him screams he shouldn't be good, but he is magical!

I have two of his albums but haven't really given them proper listens. I will eventually.

The only album is own is "I See A Darkness" on vinyl, but I love it with a fiery passion. I've been meaning to get more of his albums, but that's going to have to do for now.

I only have the album that he did with Matt Sweeney, and largely because of the song "I Gave You". Such a wonderful song.

I've got a lot of Palace/Bonnie 'Prince' Billy/Will Oldham stuff. It is all good. Even the Palace Brothers/Palace stuff which Oldham is unable to sing. Which is really evident when he did Bonnie 'Prince' Billy sings The Greatest Palace Songs.

He's done a few covers too, Tim McGraw's 'Just to see you smile', R-Kelly's 'The World's Greatest' and The Cranberries 'Dreaming my Dreams'.

The new album's wonderful. While I'd hasten to call it "cheery", it seems a lot more life-affirming than most of the other stuff of his I've heard - "Beware Your Only Friend" and "She Don't Love Me" are brilliant stand-out tracks for me so far.

I love Mr. Oldham, but must admit that I'm not especially knowledgeable of his work. He's one of those artists where there's just so much material that it's difficult to really know where to begin.

Also, he lead to the creation of one of the most brilliant songs ever; "Williamsburg Will Oldham Horror" by Jeffrey Lewis.
