So I have no FB's that can/will actually play and find myself hoping Portsmouth can keep a clean sheet. And that Wigan can have one of their good days. Not looking too good. :/

There does seem to be a lack of reliable full backs for some reason.

Latest scores, before today's games kick off:

HailtotheKing [11] 0 - 1 Frank Grimes [20]

Lots of players still to contribute for both teams. Arshavin (goal) and Wright-Phillips (goal and assist) have given Frank Grimes an early lead.

King Ellis [9] 0 - 3 Jimmy the Exploder [32]

Jimmy has three players left, whereas Ellis has 7. Agbonlahor (goal), Lescott (assist) and Milner (goal, two assists) have done the damage so far.

Dynamite [12] 0 - 0 Bryn Davies [9]

Dynamite still has his four attacking players to come, Bryn has Torres - if he plays. Gomes' subtracts 6 from Dynamite's score after saving a penalty he gave away, and keeping a clean sheet.

Captain Kirk [6] 0 - 0 Funkmaster [7]

Captain Kirk has 8 players left, Funkmaster has 10 - though Ben Foster is unlikely to play. Ashley Young (goal) is the only player contribute attacking points to either team.

Hackerjack [25] 2 - 0 Baddar [6]

Fabregas (goal, assist), Bellamy (goal) and Nelsen (goal, assist) give hackerjack his points. Jaaskelainen made up for letting in 5 by saving a penalty, but 7 of Baddar's starting XI didn't play yesterday.

metalman [10] 0 - 0 Pesci [17]

metalman's 10 points come from two players; Eduardo (assist) and Kevin Davies (penalty conceded). He still has 10 players remaining, and if Michael Owen doesn't feature he'll get Robbie Keane's goal.

Jagger [15] 0 - 0 Scott McFly [17]

Close contest so far with Eagles (assist) and Adebayor (assist) giving Jagger his points, and Cuellar (goal) giving Scott McFly his. No clean sheets, but Friedel did make 5 saves.

Final scores

Hackerjack [34] 3 - 0 Baddar [11]

Carvalho's clean sheet cancelled out Lampard's assist, but it was too little too late.

Latest scores, with the Liverpool game still to come:

HailtotheKing [28] 2 - 3 Frank Grimes [30]

HailtotheKing came back into the game thanks to Shawcross (assist) and Dempsey (goal), but Frank Grimes still has his nose in front. HailtotheKing has Queudrue left to play, Frank Grimes has Agger and Babel.

King Ellis [16] 0 - 4 Jimmy the Exploder [36]

Ellis only has Reina to play, but short of saving three penalties there's not much he can do to avoid defeat. Jimmy has Larsson.

Dynamite [22] 1 - 0 Bryn Davies [15]

Yobo, N'Zogbia, Behrami and Rodallega could only contribute 10 points to Dynamite's score, but it could be enough for a narrow win. A clean sheet for Stephen Carr or a goal for Torres would be enough to give Bryn a draw.

Captain Kirk [17] 0 - 0 Funkmaster [24]

Funkmaster had mixed fortunes on Sunday thanks to Saha (goal) and Faye (red card) but he did enough to take a narrow lead. Ivanovic's clean sheet kept the score at 1-0, and Captain Kirk has Ferguson and Benayoun to play.

metalman [31] 3 - 1 Pesci [20]

metalman's Chelsea contingent gave him the edge - Cech, Cole and Terry all kept clean sheets, and the latter contributed a goal as well. He still has his two Liverpool defenders and Aquilani (with Palacios on the bench should he not play) while Pesci has Insua and Kuyt, with Malbranque likely to come in for Gerrard.

Jagger [33] 3 - 1 Scott McFly [23]

Bullard (assist) and Scharner (assist) both added to Jagger's score, as did Hibbert by scoring at the wrong end. Scott McFly will need Lucas to contribute at least 7 points to get a draw.

Do subs replace your player if one of your players don't play then?

Just wondering since Diamanti never got on. :(

Diamanti played 34 minutes, and earned you a point. If he hadn't come on, you would have got 10 points for Fletcher.

Ah crap. :(

What sucks is that everywhere I read it was saying "Glen Johnson's definitely injured, calf problem, no chance he'll play", so I stick Hibbert in and Johnson on the bench because Hibbert hasn't been playing of late and my only other full back is Andy Griffin who had about as much chance of playing as me. And then Johnson winds up playing!

Basically if I'd switched Johnson and Hibbert then I would've gotten a draw since Johnson didn't score any own goals. >_>

You should have played him on the off chance, if he doesnt make it on your sub gets in instead. It's he only reason I keep picking Alex, one of these days he will play and get me a clean sheet I know it :).

Someone has to at some point how the hell I'm second when I have a grand total of 4 defensive clean sheets all season (and all full bakcs) is beyond me.

I know, I probably should've. I was afraid they'd only give him a runout if anything, therefore I wouldn't get a clean sheet bonus if Liverpool kept one and only get 1 point for his appearance, whereas Hibbert had a decent chance at the clean sheet and playing the whole game, which would be meaningless if Johnson made an appearance at all.

Still, plenty time to regain the top spot. It could be worse, I could be Baddar. :D Only kiddin mate!
