EWB Fantasy Premier League

Would anyone be interested in a fantasy premier league game on here next season?

I'm talking about something like this (but for proper football rather than American football), where each manager has a set transfer budget and bids for players at the beginning of the season. You start of with a few rounds of private bids, then some public bidding until everyone has a full squad of 23 players. Then it's run like a regular football league, everyone plays each other twice with a transfer window half way through.

I run a game on another forum, and it's worked out pretty well. We'd need about 12 or 14 managers (plus myself and my brother, who'd help run it), and they'd need to be people that are online regularly enough to post a team lineup each week and deal with transfer deals in the January window.

Obviously it wouldn't start until September/October, but I thought I might as well ask now to see if there's any interest.

Oh yeah they're usually fun. I remember I took part in the Euro 2008 one here. I believe I did fairly terribly.

But yes, good idea. Pity it's so far away.

Yeah, but it gives people plenty of time to come up with team names, club logos and kit designs like the nerdly nerds they are.
