Other People talking are Peter Molyneux, EA, Halo Team, Ubisoft ect.

Gamespot Coverage

http://gdc.gamespot.com/

They have some Interviews and a bunch of Previews...

Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 for PS3 (now with 4 more Boobs and (online/offline) CoOp Mode, roughly 30 percent more content in the single-player additions on top of the all-new co-op content.)

Interesting to see Variety expecting no Gears of War-2 level announcements at GDC. They are wrong. Stay tuned. -- Geoff Keighley

This comes from Geoff twitter page. OXM's twitter page states that Microsoft is going to show "some really cool stuff" today. It's rumored to be just XNA stuff, but who knows.

Bioware (Edmonton) will be showing off their upcoming fantasy RPG Dragon Age: Origins (360, PS3, PC). Haven't heard anything about info on Mass Effect 2, but I doubt we'll hear anything until after Dragon Age comes out this fall.

- Make sure to watch Spike next Friday night, we'll be telling you a lot more about ME2

- Working with our team on next week's GTTV. Going to be an epic show with around 6 world exclusives...and a few big surprises!

From Geoff's twitter page. It probably won't be anything big though. I expect to see a proper unveiling of ME at this years E3.

And the "cool stuff" from MS was, as expected, XNA tools.

This little thing is suposed to revolutionise gameing. It´s cheap, it´s smal and it alowes you to play every game... from what i understand you are conected to a server on wich the game is played... so your computer basicly showes a Video of you playing (or something like that, you don´t need pwning gfx in you homebox)... sounds intersting, but not being able to play offline is not a 100% yay for me.

003.jpg

I am living in a flat with 4 other people right now... that would need one hell of a bandwith for everyone to be able to play, surfe, watch movies... >_>

The review I read said "less than a Wii".

While i am gussing that this is not going to work without a subscription (besides the game price they have a ton of hardware and bandwith to pay for) i also think you only need the box for TV play, Win/Mac would by via Software.

So you'll need a mortgage by the time it comes out then, as the Wii will be about £5mil, "due to the strength of the Yen". :shifty:

The OnLive thing looks vaguely interesting, but my techie mates aren't pushing too much hope towards it, since as Matzat pointed out, none of us can work out how the hell it's going to work in the real world.

I almost hope it does come out just to see people try to use it whilst their ISP's cut them off for using too much bandwidth.

Maybe they will be the ISP combined with the subscription price or offer special packeges like it´s with the iPhone and Local Cellphone services right now.

But keep in mind that there already is stuff like IP-TV in wich you can watch 1080p HD TV. (at least in germany, offered by the Telekom on VDSL25 and VDSL50) It´s just that current bandwith would not be enough if you have that running on TV and two children playing games at their Computers/TV Sets. (they claim to be able stream up to 720P HD Ready qualety on their games... issend 720p HD on the TV alone like 200mbit?)

I guss for eSports broadcasting this would own. I don´t realy care, but everyone that dos could just turn the videostream on "brodcast enabled games" on and see the action. (why would the onlive server care about you playing CS or watching CS? Outgoing bandwith is the same)

I think besides Zelda most of it was just celebrating themselfs (rightfully so, withtthe sales they go going) and talking about what the DSi can do, but i only flew over it very quickly.

Big surprise is multi-platform. And it goes down in about 6 or 7 hours.

It's looking like the big surprise is going to be COD Modern Warfare 2. Infinity Ward is at GDC, they launched their website today, and an IW developer posted "Tomorrow night is when it gets real" last night on the COD twitter page.
