It's just Serptentine italicised.

i hadn't seen or heard of it, it looks like a useful font and one i was actually looking for a few months back for a sporting thing i was doing

It's a bit overused nowadays. It was also the typeface used for Babylon 5 and some anime thing called Gundam Wing, so they have that connotation working against them (Or for them I suppose)

Generally you want to try and avoid using a gimmicky font that's associated with a brand.

Yeah the font is a little gimmicky, but that's an actual logo from my school ... and the TLU in that script was on their helmet for a few years.

I'm editing my entire conference (the American Southwest) into NCAA 10 and wanted to go with this helmet for my school (by far the best we've had, and miles above the shit Kentucky logo rip off I had while playing).

The font was also used for WCW championship matches, between 1999 until its demise in 2001, and was also the font used to brand WCW with the futuristic logo.
