There's a font on FontRiver.com called EA Font by GhettoShark. Looks similar to the one used on the header. EA Font - GhettoShark

It's called Facet. It was on the 500 Fonts CD that was sold on the bargain rack. If you want it, I have uploaded it for you. There are three type weights. Facet Font Enjoy.

I like what I see with the Content Aware tool. I will definitely have to give CS4 a major go now.

Birth of a Hero would be the font name and it is on DaFont.com Font: Birth of a Hero

Try MetalEncasement or Monotone for "World Championship Wrestling". MetalEncasement might be better suited for this. And perhaps use WideLatin in a 40-50% width for "Nitro"

It's been a while since I've come up with decent logos, but back to my original concept of using the Futuristic NWA Logo, I have finally figured it out and came up with logos should you wish to use these for any upcoming diaries or web pages. I believe that the NWA Main Event promotion's primary color was green, but I found royal/navy blue to be a better fit. Let me know what you guys think.

After I purchased OOTP 2006 some 2.5 years ago, now they come out with a free OOTP 8. Well, I have since downloaded and installed the game. The only catch is that the main screen is advertised with OOTP 10, and while you're progressing ahead in the game, there are several instances of what OOTP 10 has that 8 doesn't (obviously).

The font was also used for WCW championship matches, between 1999 until its demise in 2001, and was also the font used to brand WCW with the futuristic logo.

Yeah, that's too much of an coincidence if anything. Whoever made that poster probably liked the jacket idea also. Nothing to be upset about really.

Perhaps, this might you a bit... It's not like the original logo... Just call it a JJ Original...

Well then, I managed (somehow) to make a couple of logos similar to that and well, enjoy and rate them... The only visible difference is that while their original logo's t was straight, the t that's on the created logo is slanted at the top.

Ladies and getlemen, I bring to you version 2 of the NWA Logo that's primarily used in NWA Pro in Australia, only with the color effect and the "National Wrestling Alliance" title itself. I did the best that I could so feel free to rate it. Links have been taken down on a temporary basis.

UPDATE: I have recovered just enough, maybe moreso, to the point where I can start posting and making GFXs again. Thanx to Doc and Syko for wishing me well. As far as the rest of you MFers , well don't worry about it, I care about ya just the same. I got a persistent coughing going on, but I can handle that -- for now. TO ALL MODS: I didn't know where to put this so I put it in here. Please place this topic in the appropriate subforum. With that being said, my health had been failing recently. I had yet another recurrence of cellulitis (3rd time -- all since 2004) and I had started to get these headaches and my nerves was making me loopy. I'm not doing too much better but I am getting there. I'm supposed to be laid up on my futon for about a week, but as you can see, I had to write this. To those who I had promised GFXs, regardless of the situation, I will send them to you in a ZIP file on my web space. I did get to see the thread that had been hotly argumentative, and nufan thanx for the kind words on my banners. I will have them done, just give me a chance to recover. I noticed that you're using OOTP 6.12 to run your league. I have OOTP 2006 for Mac. Not cool. (N) Just kidding.

Think of it as an offline fantasy baseball league, where armchair managers control a team of their choosing and make off-field decisions based on the team's strengths, weaknesses, and their performances. If you've ever played Baseball Mogul or something to that effect, consider OOTP Baseball to be of a higher caliber than that.

After looking at the transaction and team history pages of the Mets and Rockies, it looked like the GMs you had in that circuit sure didn't know what the heck they were doing.

Going 22-8-1 (W-D-L) in League Play since taking over for Mourinho wasn't a bad effort for Grant, it's just that the team itself expected better result and they didn't see Grant as the long-term future of this club. However, losing to Man United in both the Community Shield and the CL Final, not to mention a split with them during league play, doesn't exactly scream of "We're ready to take over the Premier League for years to come."

I didn't like the move they made to bring Grant in the first place, but HE did bring Chelsea to within one PK of winning the Champions' League title. And you can pretty much blame Drogba for that as well; never should have tapped Vidic in the face with the referee in plain sight. Bad move, Drogba. Had they won the CL, he probably would have been safe for next season, but that's just my interpretation.

There is a font on the web that had some of the basic cable television logos. It's called CableDingbats. However, it only had like maybe 20-25 logos from which to choose from. Now, I had collected some logos over the last few weeks and I thought I would take a stab at creating a new font consisting of such network logos. What do you think of this undertaking??

I like the cracked logo and backdrop, but you might be better suited placing Randy Orton (RAW) and The Undertaker (SD) on the cover with CM Punk (ECW) in the middle to represent the three brands. John Cena and Batista were already used in SvR 2006, so it would make a bit more sense to throw in some other stars for this venture.

Ya know, after finally upgrading my hard drive this afternoon, I decided to take a stab at creating some potential logos for next year's WM, not that it would be given the green light but I thought I would come up with something. Tell me whether you guys like it or not. They're both pretty much the same except that one is transparent, and the other one, well, is not.
