Positive Article

1. Find a club in crisis

3. Locate players of a similar level abroad or a lower level in the domestic leagues
   
4. Word that into a coherent sentence then write a short article about that sentence.

You're forgetting that the player needs to be of sufficient quality and name value to be pointlessly speculated over for an entire month.

There are going to be more Liverpool fans buying the new version of The Sun checking if Gerrard is/isn't going to be apart of Man City's first team squad than if Javier Mascherano is going to be apart of Real/Barce bench. It doesn't matter how better Mascherano is over Gerrard but there will be more papers sold over an incredibly loyal player potentially leaving as opposed to Johnny foreigner going to Madrid, especially now the Ronaldo move has shown us that any player Madrid want... they get.

Gerrard will be linked THIS transfer window (at least near the end) and the article produced will be used as evidence for creating a 4 month rumour in July.

MAN CITY IN SENSATIONAL £20M BID FOR GERRARD

Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini is expected to make a fresh bid for Liverpool star midfielder Steven Gerrard this summer after a failed attempt to buy the star player in January. Liverpool are expected to make their decision regarding the potential £20m bid over the next few days.

Today the transfer rumours being banded about is that Man City will bid for Gerrard, Torres and Mascherano if Liverpool don't make it to the CL

Bayern have denied that Madrid have tied down a deal for Ribery (which reminds me of what was going on with the Ronaldo saga)

and Luca Toni to Roma has been confirmed

It's now looking likely that Liverpool will be making bids for Van Der Vart, Van Nistelroij and Maxi Roudrigez

In other words, players he's been looking at for years but are now old/cheap enough to be bought :/

I'd love us to sign any of the names mentioned. A creative midfielder more than a striker (because N'Gog is quite frankly on the verge of becoming world class), hopefully with a bit of grit, but that's probably too much to ask for. Just somebody to ease the pressure on Torres to take a simple ball and transform it into a masterclass once every game.
