Vettel had an interesting race today to say the least. I'm happy for Hamilton and Kubica for picking up some good points. Hard to judge where Mclaren are in relation to Red Bull today as this is a track well suited to their strengths.

That race had everything, one of the races of the season. Couldn't help but laugh at Vettel though. Prick.

What was Alguersuari's penalty for?

I really enjoyed that race, full of incident and the rain added to it, Spa usually delivers and 2010 didn't disappoint either. Great drive by Hamilton bar that one error where he went into the gravel, he and Webber are pulling away now. Looking forward immensely to Monza, if Webber can come through that with a podium and not lose too much ground on Hamilton I think he will win the title.

He cut across the Bus Stop chicane while passing Liuzzi's Force India with three laps to go.

Martin Whitmarsh laid into Vettel, saying "It was not what you would expect to see in F1 - more reminiscent of junior formulae". Ouch.

Mark Webber has also come out and said that Red Bull should soon consider putting all their eggs in one basket and back one driver for the world championship. That man really does not like Vettel (not that I blame him).

I thought Vettel was a little unlucky with the Button crash, he seemed to hit a wet patch but it can be aruged he was being overzealous in the conditions, and he certainly wouldn't have lost his car if he hadn't tried the overtake where he did. That said I don't care that he got no points and I'm pretty happy that he jacknifed Button, since it dented the title hopes of both men in one fell swoop.

I hope this continues to be Webber vs Hamilton for the title now, with Webber hopefully prevailing in the end.

Not knowing much about F1 but being an Aussie and obviously wanting to see Webber take out the title, I want to ask this question.

What do you honestly think his chances are? Will he go all the way, or do you all see him losing ground and falling short of the title?

Well I think it's hard to say as to be honest he and Red Bull should be well shot of the others by now but they're not. Monza favours McLaren but then the next tracks are all favourable to Red Bull apparently, it'll be a tight title race I think. We still can't rule out Button, Vettel and Alonso but realistically they're all going to have to take major points off Hamilton and Webber now.

I think that if Webber was competing against Button he would probably win the championship but up against Hamilton makes it a lot harder as Hamilton is in my eyes the best driver on the grid, he can get performance out of his car that just doesn't appear to be there.

Sakon Yamamoto is set to remain driving for HRT for 'the forseeable future'.

After suggestions in Belgium that Yamamoto will now see out the season, team principal Colin Kolles has said that he sees no reason to replace the Japanese.

"I think that both drivers are doing a good job," explained Kolles. "We had the best qualifying result in Spa so far and Sakon's lap times were at the same level as Kovalainen's and Glock's in the race. I think there is no reason to make any changes so far."

He then prattles on about sponsorship for 2011. I feel sorry for Chandhok but unfortunately, money talks.

No reason to feel sorry for Chandhok. His drive would have been a paid drive, and Yamamoto would have just come through with more money. If another guy comes up with even more then Yamamoto is throwing at them, then Yamamoto will be kicked to the curb.

That's car racing for ya.

So Ferrari have escaped further punishment from the WMSC. Furthermore, they've agreed to review the team orders ban. It's a joke really because it puts a price on team orders. Even Todt wants to punish them further but conceded that 'the proof just isn't there'. They have also decided against awarding a 13th team a grid slot on the basis it just isn't yet viable with the applicants given.

Of course not - bloody Jean Todt.

Timo Glock loses 5 places on the grid due to having to open up his gear box. Vitaly Petrov will also lose 5 grid places due to impeding Glock during qualifying.

any other team and they would of had the book thrown at them.

Bullshit. McLaren did the exact same thing with Button and Hamilton, and no one batted a fucking eye lid because they just told Button to back off and "conserve fuel". It was the exact same situation, because Button was going hard and was going to pass Hamilton, and they didn't want it.

No one battered an eye lid because most people knows teams use the conserve fuel call to keep drivers in their postions to make it look like their not using team orders. What im saying is that if McLaren or Red Bull had gone about their team orders the way Ferrari had then they would of been punished much more serverly.
