For my team alone. Got us promotion, a league cup win, 6th place in the lague, Europe two season on the bounce. Sad to see him go and I can't think of anyone we could get that would be better.

Well, Souness certainly can instill a quality called 'discipline' in the dressing room. It may be just what Newcastle need after news (rumors?) of locker room unrest.

Souness has won things as a manager at most clubs he's been to, but hes never won or done anything major. He won a few cups at Galatasary, nothing with Southampton and turned Blackburn into a semi-decent midtable club, who failed miserably in the UEFA cup.
