it's funny because he won't because he's not jesus and he's dead.

Was shocked to hear this when it came on the radio in the pub. But only because I'd just been reading a bit about him in Nick Kent's book and it seemed eery. He was a manipulative idiot, and a daft talentless old nonce with an inflated sense of self-importance. Fuck him, basically.

Oh I just got Nick Kent's book in the post yesterday. I went straight to the back to read his playlist so haven't started actual book yet. Is it good?

It's alright. It's definitely Nick Kent, though - inflated sense of self-importance.

Oh yeah I gathered that just through reading the playlist bit. It's all "I listened to this song with my good friend Iggy Pop" and "I gave such and such the idea of writing this aong".
