Help me choose a team (NBA 2k8)

Picked this up on the cheap the other day, just because I fancied playing a basketball game. Now, I don't really know any of the teams, and only a few players. Anyone fancy giving me an idea of some good sides to be. I don't want to just go for the best rated teams, but maybe a team with a good mix of players, or some potential for when I go into The Association mode.

Well, if you wanna try and build a team up, the Clippers are a consistently bad team. The 76ers were a playoff team in 2008 that fell off big time afterward. Think the Knicks were pretty bad in 2008 also

I believe this game was Kevin Durant's rookie year. I would go with the Seattle Supersonics to build a team around Durant. Plus, this is before the Sonics were ripped from Seattle so they were still kinda cool. I love the old uniforms there....go with Seattle.

The Bobcats were a young team in 2k6, I can only assume that they've improved since then.
