Uzbekistan 2-3 South Korea in the 3/4 play play-off today, Korea were 3-0 in the first have until Uzbekistan pulled a couple back. Best thing about this is Park Ji Sung can come home and play for United again, he was on form when left!

Edit: Just found out Park has retired from international football. Good news for us, most of his injuries over the past few seasons have been because of long flights to Korea every few months for international games.

What a heartbreaking result for Australia there, they had there chances many times where they should have scored and should have put Japan Away. Saying that i agree 100% that the Japanese Goalkeeper played a brillant game today and deserves all accolades that come his way.

well we can always win it now that we are hosting it next

Went to a bar to watch this. About three Aussies in the bar, the rest Japanese. A few of us go to the Nagoya Grampus games so we were getting rowdy in the doorway - it was PACKED. The celebrations when Japan scored were great. Happy times.

Terrible game though. My mate said that he knew it was a terrible game but as he was invested in it then it didn't matter. I guess if it had been England or Spurs then it wouldn't matter as long as they got the result. I was well behind Japan and chanting, shouting, jeering etc more than most Japanese in the bar but it was still a bad game.

Glad they won though.

Harry Kewell has aged horribly - he looks like a melted Luke Wilson.
