PS2 Problem - discs with blue bottoms?

The blue discs ARE regular CDs, not DVDs. I think it says so on the cover, or box.

Anyways, my PS2 used to have this problem. All I did was just clean the disc several times, and just keep restarting the PS2 until it worked. Took me about 20 attempts, but once it got working, it stayed that way.

Yeah, I got them mixed up. I just checked on the back of The Sims case.

And what did you clean the disc with? lintfree cloth and rubbing alcohol?
