General Rules

• Top 2 advance from each group
  
• Tie Breaks are Goal difference, goal scored, head-to-head record, coin toss.
  
• 1st in Group A plays 2nd in Group B and vice versa
  
• Semi-Finals are two legged, away golas don't count.
  
• If game requires extra time and game does not recognise 2nd leg as a draw an all or nothing 3rd leg will be played
  
• No custom formations and must be default squads as of the latest online squad update.
  
• Don't be a dick.

Hey at least we have 3 so far, more than I anticipated. Should run it with 4 if we get it anyway, so I can call my self EWB FIFA 11 Champion. Something that was robbed of me last year because we never finished the FIFA 10 version.

Could just as easily run it with 6, just have 3 team groups with 2 rounds of fixtures and the winners advancing to the final.

I have both FIFA 10, 11, and maybe even 09, and would be up for a tournament in any of those. I'm not that great of a player, but I'd love to take part in the tournament nonetheless.

We'll start as soon as we have decent numbers, it'll be up to the two involved in each fixture to sort a time.

Yeah, once these things get started, it's quite easy to arrange the fixtures with each other. We've had connection problems in the past with players not being able to match up to their opponent, but hopefully that's no longer an issue.

EDIT: I could get Bluebirds to play? He's only ever on here whenever we do one of these, but he's reliable...

Cool, I think it will be a fun tournament. Maybe later we can set up a date that fits all of us and do the group online trophy thing?

I'll be adding You guys on PSN soon.

Also, if I might suggest something, I think that the best thing would be having a group stage - that would mean that losing one match isn't the end of the tournament, and since there are not too many of us, it would be quite cool to play with different EWB'ers.

What do You guys think?

What's your PSN? I'm sure I already have you on my friends list though. Get Bluebirds, migght as well considering we'll never get 8. A group stage is fine as long as we have at least 6.

I'm available tonight and tomorrow night for the clubs trophy, then probably won't be available until next Saturday night, if the 4 or 5 of us could get on some time.

Could ask junkd03/AJ to play as well, played clubs with him a few times over the past few weeks, he might play.

Group stage is fine, the knockout system was only thrown out there anyway, we usually do groups.

We've done group stages before, on FIFA 09 (?) and it worked well. Started doing the same on 10 but it (the tournament itself) didn't work out.
