NCAA Football 12 PS3 Dynasty Thread

Just survived a comeback by USM. They recovered 2 onside kicks and scored 21 points on me in the 4th to bring it within one touchdown. I sacked their QB on 4th down around my 30 yard line to seal the victory for me.

Decided to take over UNLV. Gonna have to try and scavenge a recruiting class, and get some wins quick. Hopefully the fact that I'm extremely familiar with UCLA's version of the Pistol will help. Not much to work with on this squad. Gonna try and get everything done Saturday.

Well, that didn't happen. I'll try to get the game done tonight, but it's the last night I can spend with my girl before she starts school again... If I don't, I'll definitely get it done Monday, since I'm off work.

Sorry I was lagging. Game against Nevada was surprisingly easy, but I guess thats to be expected when they turn the ball over 6 times. Gonna have to get use to the shorter clock, as I play my offline dynasty games with 12 minutes quarters (and on very slow).

I won my game against Ball State last night. Really struggled until the middle of the 3rd quarter. Then really cranked up the pressure and did well from then on. My starting HB gets hurt a lot. It is really frustrating because he is my only star player (86 overall).

Looked over my roster and I will be losing my top 2 HBs, my whole O-Line, and a lot of my defense in the offseason. Really has me worried but hoping I can pull in a decent recruiting class to fill the holes.

I am having a really good season. Really nice to see what happens when you get some talent at key positions such as HB. Now if my QB can learn how not to overthrow wide open wr's.

FAU is having a magical season. Only losses were to Penn State and Virgina Tech with both losses being by just a few points.

The 1 loss EMU Eagles picked up another big win in conference. The clock management by this team and success at hanging on to the ball is really keeping this season alive. When the Eagles top 2 stars graduate this year it will leave a big hole at the HB position.

FAU's Juluis Cartwirght is now being talked about as a potential Heisman canidate if he can keep up his outstanding performance on the year. He has 1190 rushing yards and 12 rushing touchdowns.

Tough, tough loss to New Mexico. Just wasn't able to get the run game going and commit to it. Its cool how different this team is co mpared to my offline UCLA team, despite using the exact same playbook. UNLV is a fatter paced, aerial offense, and my Bruins are a slow down, pound the rock, team. Still hope to make a bowl game, however.

I just started looking around the standings and saw Oklahoma's remaining schedule: at Notre Dame, vs. #4 TCU, at #14 Texas Tech, at #3 Oklahoma State. I'm hoping all this shakeup at the top in the coming weeks will slot me into a BCS game...that isn't the Sugar Bowl. Also, I'm hoping for Tulane to announce a move to another conference soon, but I doubt that is in the cards.
